Reliable Cameras That Actually Get Used Every Day
I’ve never gone wrong with Ring, and this pan-tilt indoor cam is no exception. At this point I’ve got 4 outdoor cameras and 6 of these indoors, so I’ve had a lot of time with them. We originally got them to help keep an eye on our dog, who has seizures, and to remotely make sure he’s actually getting his medication. Being able to check in and confirm that has been huge for peace of mind when we’re away. The pan and tilt feature is what really makes these stand out. You’re not stuck with a fixed view, so you can look around the room instead of guessing what’s happening just out of frame. I’ve also got one set up in the garage, and it actually helped me figure out that a raccoon was getting in and making a mess of the dog food. Once I knew what I was dealing with, I was able to trap it and get the critter rehomed. Having them indoors might seem creepy to some but it's just my wife and I and our dog at home now and each Pan-Tilt cam has a light that comes on when it's in use so it's easy to know that you're not being watched. Setup isn't just straightforward, it's easy. If you do have issues, Ring support really is first rate. The app works well, and the cameras have been reliable. For me, these have gone beyond just “nice to have” and turned into something I depend on daily.

Great Performance at Low Cost
I have several Ring cameras/doorbells for external use but I needed an indoor camera to monitor my basement when I am not at home or not in the basement. Fortunately, Ring cameras allow you to enable or disable motion detection based on the Ring Alarm mode so this camera was a perfect complement to my Ring-based security system. Prior to purchasing the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera I purchased a Ring Stickup Camera with the separate Pan/Tilt base. It's a great camera and extremely versatile but the total cost was quite a bit more than the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera. For indoor use the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera provides essentially the same set of features for a considerably lower cost. Integrating the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera into my existing Ring Alarm system was a breeze. The camera performance is great and the smaller footprint allowed me to place it in a smaller and more discreet location. I do have a couple of minor issues with the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera, but these tend to be things that affect all Ring cameras that connect via WiFi. I would like the option of connecting all Ring WiFi cameras using the 5 GHz WiFi channels. There are obviously some issues with distance and obstructions with 5 GHz and higher frequency WiFi channels, but having the option to use 5 GHz channels would help me avoid the highly congested 2.4 GHz channels. Only supporting 2.4 GHz today is very limiting. I would also like it if all Ring Cameras supported Ethernet connectivity, and better yet, Ethernet with PoE. All of my Ring Doorbell Cameras and all but one of my Ring Stick-Up Cameras support Ethernet with PoE. From a security standpoint this is the gold standard since WiFi can be jammed. I understand that adding Ethernet and PoE would cost more (and for Ring it costs a lot more) but Ring does not currently offer a Pan/Tilt mount for any of its products with Ethernet or Ethernet with PoE. That said, my Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera (and all of my Ring WiFi cameras) has been very reliable when using WiFi connectivity.

A Game-Changer for Home Security – Love My Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam!
I recently added the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam to my home security setup, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. Living in a bustling area of New York City, I wanted a reliable way to monitor my apartment, especially when I'm away. Setup & Design: The installation was straightforward—just plug it in, connect to Wi-Fi via the Ring app, and it was ready to go. The sleek design blends seamlessly with my home decor, and I appreciate the variety of color options available. Functionality: The 360-degree pan and 169-degree tilt features are fantastic. I can remotely adjust the camera's view to cover every corner of the room, ensuring comprehensive coverage. The 1080p HD video quality is crisp, and the color night vision provides clear images even in low light. The two-way audio is a bonus—I can communicate with my pets or visitors when I'm not home. TechRadar +1 TechRadar +1 The Verge +1 TechRadar +1 Integration: Being part of the Ring ecosystem, it integrates seamlessly with my other Ring devices. The app provides real-time notifications, and I can access live views or recorded footage with ease. While some features require a Ring Protect subscription, I find the added benefits, like video history and person detection, well worth the cost. Peace of Mind: Since installing the camera, I feel more secure knowing I can monitor my home anytime, anywhere. Whether I'm at work or traveling, I have peace of mind that my space is protected. Overall, the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam has exceeded my expectations. It's a versatile, high-quality addition to my home security system, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their indoor surveillance.

Moved from Foscam to Ring
For the past decade I have been using Foscam cameras for inside of my house. During the last Prime Day I saw they had a deal on the Ring Pan Tilt cameras and bought 7 of them! I am so glad I made the switch, the Ring cameras work perfectly and they integrate into my already existing Ring Doorbell app. I believe I paid like 40 bucks a camera, it was a great value! The Ring cameras are flawless, you click them and they start streaming, no errors, no hiccups, they just work. I also love that you have so many customizations in the Ring app for the cameras...You can set a start position...So if you are viewing the cameras and you spin them around they will revert back to the start position when you disconnect for them. You can also set them up to notify you of movement and get motion alerts...I kinda turn these off since they are being used in my house and someone or something (cat) is always moving around. There are numerous light settings you can change depending on where the room is. The only annoying this is that the camera lights up when you are using it...There is no way to turn this off so I just put a piece of black tape over the light. I have to say, Ring makes a great product! Their cameras just work!

Good camera but no auto-tracking
I’ve been using this camera and overall it works well. The video quality is good and the app is easy to use. Setup was quick and straightforward. The only downside is that it doesn’t automatically follow movement. You have to manually move the camera in the app, which is a bit inconvenient. I wish it had auto-tracking. Pros: Good video quality, easy setup, smooth controls Cons: No auto-follow feature I would still recommend it, but it would be much better with motion tracking.

Excellent 360° Coverage With Easy Setup
I purchased the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam to monitor a single room, and it has been a great addition. Setup was quick and easy through the Ring app, and the camera connected without any issues. The 360° pan coverage is the standout feature; it allows me to see the entire room without needing multiple cameras. Video quality is clear, even in lower light, and the Two-Way Talk is responsive and easy to use. The pan and tilt controls work smoothly, though there’s a slight delay when adjusting remotely. It’s minor and doesn’t affect overall use. This camera is ideal for indoor home monitoring or small business spaces. Overall, it performs exactly as advertised and feels like a solid, well-designed product.

Very Pleased.
This is a great product to help monitor frail family members nighttime bathroom trips. The family is afraid of him falling and we can see and hear if that happens. This is a plug in type and works well with a iPhone and iPad. The infrared function is great and the picture is decent. In daytime pictures are crisp and the panorama function covers a wide area. Add it to your paid Ring plan for free. We have had it for 2 months and find no fault.
