Super soft, cozy, and swaddles baby so they can sleep soundly. GREAT PRODUCT!
A high school classmate and friend of mine created this product for his son who had croup. I believe it was the blanket baby North West was wrapped in in her first photo shared with the public. It comes in beautiful colors, it is soft and helps keep baby swaddled perfectly so they sleep soundly. It's one of the gifts I always give when someone is having a baby.

A product that lives up to its name!
I love the Miracle Blanket! It definitely lives up to its name! As an infant caretaker, I have used them with many children. I now purchased one for my own son, and soon bought more colors! We had multiple types of swaddles--blankets, velcro styles, etc.--and this is the only one that worked for us. It keeps the baby's arms at his sides, compared to most which wrap the arms on his chest. This makes it harder for him to break out and scrunch the fabric by his face (as happened with other swaddles as he tried to bring his hands to his mouth). He is just now, around 4 months, getting a little too long for it, to where he can scrunch it with his arms. Leaving his arms at his aides also stops him from trying to roll, which was possible in some others (note: babies who can roll over should not be swaddles; my son rolled from back to side the day we came home from the hospital and was closely monitored which sleeping). I appreciate that while it ends up putting several layers around baby, it is lightweight, breathable cotton. On hot nights, I only used a short sleeve onesie underneath to prevent overheating. I wish there was a way to secure the end piece of fabric as it always scared me a little to have a loose piece hanging around, but it never got near his face. There is definitely a learning curve in trying to get it positioned and tightened perfectly for your baby. We wrapped it slightly differently at different times based on his needs (e.g wrapping it higher or lower, leaving his legs out, etc.). I recommend these to everyone I know! They are definitely the best swaddle on the market. My baby fought getting in them for a little while, but they calm him so well, and now just the routine of wrapping him in starts to calm him! If you need a miracle to help your baby sleep better, this is it!

Then you're left with your adorable burrito baby
Overview: The Miracle Blanket takes the skill out of using a muslin-type swaddle blankets and separates itself from all of the other swaddlers by having the ability to pin the baby's arms to the sides, making it much more difficult to escape! You use the swaddle by tucking the arm flaps underneath the baby's back (which does require lifting them up as in a diaper change), then putting their feet in the foot pocket, pulling the (baby's) left side of the swaddle tight and then tucking it under their right arm, and then wrapping the outermost layer around and under the baby tightly. Then you're left with your adorable burrito baby! When I first started using this, it seemed cumbersome, and it is more difficult than a SwaddleMe velcro swaddler or a Woombie, but this is why it works. When your baby is sleeping many more hours at a time you will know it's worth the extra 30 seconds to get them properly swaddled. There have been 2 times so far when my 14lb, 9 week old has gotten his right arm out, and tucking the arm flap more under his body has fixed that. He has also got his feet out, so I put him lower in the swaddler and so far that is working. He may be outgrowing it soon, though. Pros: It works the best of the many swaddlers that I have tried for keeping baby swaddled (compared to Woombie, SwaddleMe, Aden+Anais, SwaddleUp and SwaddleMe Pods). -It is possible to untuck the legs and do a diaper change without a complete un-swaddle. Cons: Legs will probably eventually come out. My son is 23 1/4 inches and he's probably reaching the last few weeks of being able to use this. I wish they had a bigger size. Would I recommend: Yes! This is the only swaddler you will need!

Pleasantly surprised.
This swaddle sat in the box on my dresser for two weeks. My newborn was only sleeping in two hour increments and pretty much slept wherever he passed out: boppy, glider swing, etc. I have a bedside sleeper thatโs awesome but if he fell asleep in the Boppy weโd just pickup the whole thing and put it into to the sleeper. I wasnโt all that crazy about โback is bestโ and putting him down in an empty hard bassinet w nothing, and plus I have the Owlet monitor as well. But now that heโs three weeks old and his sleep is getting longer, Iโm transitioning to sleeping just in the sleeper โwith nothingโ. He has crazy wind mill arms when heโs restless so I figured gee why not use this swaddle Iโve been staring at every day for two weeks lol. So This afternoon I used it for a nap. He is not used to having his arms constrained. Even in the hospital he would sneak at least one arm up and out of even the tightest hospital blanket swaddle jobs. I figured Iโd start w both arms swaddled and if he hated it Iโd try one arm out. He definitely hated it for about 2 min as he realized he was confined, but he cried it out and eventually fell asleep! And pretty quickly too! He was already tired when I laid him down so I knew he was sleepy anyway so I guess the timing was good for the whole thing. Now he is sound asleep and I am writing this review instead of sleeping w him like I planned. Lol. I like how there are several flaps within this swaddle. His arms ainโt goin nowhere lol. And believe me, he tried. He tried a couple more times but would strain for about a half second and then Iโd see his whole body relax. I didnโt even have to do the one arm out option. Iโm not sure this swaddle will work every time, bc I feel like nothing w babies works everytime, but hey for now he accepted it and fell asleep. Iโll take any small victory I can get. Now itโs nap time zzz

Woombie vs. Miracle Blanket
My son loves the Woombie. My daughter loved the Miracle Blanket. As a parent that has now used two of the most popular baby swaddlers, here are some pros and cons of each. Woombie - We used the Houdini woombie in pool party and in vanilla crea (have one of each) and one Original Woombie in Raspberry color. Pros: Allows the hands to be across the chest or up near the face - this was the main reason my son hated the Miracle Blanket and loves the Woombie Snug - I haven't really noticed a difference between the Original and the Houdini versions although the Houdini is supposed to be a slightly firmer swaddle. Both are snug. Nice colors - All the colors we have are nice. None have faded or bled in the wash. Cons: The Big Baby and Mega Baby sizes are too long. There is so much excess fabric that hangs down. My two year old can still fit in the Mega Baby size, lengthwise, because it is sooo long. Does stretch out after many uses. You can fix that by tossing in the washer and then tumble dry. (It says line dry but who has time for that? We've always tumbled dry with no problems.) Fingers can creep out the top and scratch the face. He's never managed to get anything more than his fingers out, but just a warning that it can happen. **Biggest con - You have to keep buying bigger sizes if you want to continue to use it as they grow. If you buy two in each size (so that you'll always have one handy if one is in the wash), then that's over one hundred dollars in swaddle blankets. Yikes!!** Hard to use if you need to put baby someplace with straps - like a bouncy seat or swing Terrible return policy from Woombie - only unused and unwashed are accepted for returns with a 15% restocking fee!! The Miracle Blanket - We have two - one in pink and one in blue. We used these with my daughter until she rolled over from back to front, at about eight/nine months old. Pros: Fits any size baby. It's a super long wrap, so there's no way that your baby will ever be too big to fit width-wise. Lengthwise our daughter outgrew it around four months. Then we just stopped putting her feet in the pouch but keep wrapping her arms. Still worked great!! Also if you leave the feet out, it's easy to put the baby someplace with a three point harness like a bouncy seat or a swing. Can only purchase two and lasts until you need to stop swaddling! Colors are nice - never faded or bled in wash. **Best pro** - Miracle Blanket has amazing customer service. One of ours got a hole in it after three months of use. Miracle Blanket replaced it free of charge, not even charging for shipping the new blanket or return shipping. Doesn't matter where you bought it - they will replace it for you and fix the old one and donate to kids in need. AWESOME! Cons: Learning curve - Babysitters and grandma had an extremely hard time learning how to use this. The first time, despite a demonstration before we left, our babysitter put it on our daughter upside down so that the foot pouch was like a little hood! The blanket has a weakness where the foot pouch is sewn onto the main piece. After much use, it develops a hole from being pulled on by baby kicking or moving the feet in and out of the pouch. Both our blankets developed one. We had Miracle Blanket replace one, but decided to just keep going with the other one. The hole never got bigger that the radius of a straw but it's definitely a weakness in the fabric. Hands are down by the side - This was what our daughter liked, but our son hated it, so I guess it could be a pro or a con. Overall, I would recommend either. You just have to think about what your baby likes. I think the Miracle Blanket is better for a baby who really needs a firm swaddle with very little movement. The Woombie is for babies who like their hands up. Our daughter, who required a firm swaddle, just couldn't handle the amount of movement the Woombie allowed. She needed much more restriction. Our son prefers the freedom to arrange his arms around his chest or thighs as he likes. If you want to try one, start with the Miracle Blanket first since their return policy is better. If Woombie would change theirs, I would equally recommend them.

Favorite thing I bought for baby
Best swaddle! I had a colicky baby. She would cry from 10pm to 3 am every night. When I finally got her to sleep she would Houdini her way out of every swaddle I tried and wake herself up with her flailing arms. I though she didn't like swaddling and was near giving up. I found a review for this online and tried it out. I starting using this swaddle at 2 1/2 months and she's now 4 months old still using it. She turned into a super sleeper with the use of this swaddle! Sleeps from midnight to 8 am and no longer wakes herself up. The material is not stretchy which keeps those little arms where I put them. I was worried the separate arm flaps would be too confining but she loves it! The fabric is nice and light for warm weather and I just wrap another swaddle overtop when it's cold. I can't say enough great things about this blanket!! It's easy once you've done it a few times. It's super durable has been washed more times than I can count. Some people have stated that the foot pouch is too small as there baby gets older. My little one still fits at 4mo but when she does grow out of it I will just leave her feet out and swaddle another blanket overtop. Would absolutely recommend!!! Truly a miracle sleep and colic solution! (P.s. The owl print is adorable!!)

Truly amazing!!
A friend recommended this to me when my daughter was about 4 weeks old and my sleep deprivation had hit its peak. My baby was fussy constantly, and I was starting to get smart to the idea that swaddling her wasn't a military form of torture (for either of us) but couldn't seem to do it *just right* with a blanket to make it through the night. I paid for one day shipping (worth every penny itself) and ripped open the package the second it hit my doorstep. It did have a funky smell when It arrived (from the plastic packaging), so it was washed before trying out. Initially it looked a little overwhelming: there are multiple straps and being a newly reformed swaddler, I was nervous about putting my baby in something that looked like a straight jacket. I also was nervous that it would stay swaddled since there was no Velcro. My baby resisted it slightly, so I was gentle and tried to distract her with silly noises as best I could. She was still keeping her arms up by her face at times, so getting the arms down was my biggest challenge. Once wrapped, she resisted a little, but once I gave her a pacifier, she immediately calmed and was asleep within 15 mins. (It had been taking me at least an hour to get her settled down before). The longest strap was also very long and stayed snug the whole night- phew!. Now, I will say that she did not sleep through the night at first... But developmentally she wasn't quite ready for that.. She did however go down MUCH faster consistently and after about a week, would SMILE when I started wrapping her up. I remember watching a video tutorial online where a baby did this, and I actually rolled my eyes thinking my baby wasn't happy like that baby and I would never see that happen. HA! I was proven wrong! I absolutely love this blanket and recommend it to everyone I see. My daughter is now 8 weeks old and sleeps up to 9 hours at night (though generally 6-7). When she has those nights of waking up more frequently, it only takes a quick nursing session and she's back to sleep without any effort from me. No more pulling her into bed with me, no more startling herself awake, no more bouncing/walking/shh-ing for hours... Just a little warm cuddle from mom, maybe a pacifier, and she's out! Please don't let the price tag scare you! Sleep is worth the money!

Didn't work for my baby
Bought this when my baby was around 8 weeks olds and she did not like it, was up every hour the two nights I had her in this. Went back to love to dream swaddle. However, if I had been using this from birth rather than from 8 weeks maybe she would have liked it.

Perfect for Houdini babies
Canโt rave enough about this swaddle for our baby. I bought different models including Love To Dream but our baby kept waking herself up with arms up. This has done a good job at keeping her arms alongside her body and settling her. Just a note to ensure the hips can move freely and arenโt wrapped tight to avoid hip dysplasia. The swaddle requires some getting used to but then is easy to fold after a while.

Veramente ottimo!
Ottimo prodotto. Ci avevo provato con altri modelli, ed il mio bimbo riusciva sempre a liberarsi. Con questo, rimane bello avvolto tutta la notte e, secondo me, dorme piรน sereno.
