I loved the way Ramit is able to take culturally hot topics such as finances and relationships and bring them to light for the good of people. Instead of living in fear of these conversations, this book helps to face them head on in order to be healthier, more prepared, and stronger as a couple. This is a great book for both people with money problems and those without!

Money for Couples by Ramit Sethi is a life-altering book! Fantastic book with checklists, scripts, templates, rules, and the psychology behind many of our money behaviors and stories. Perfect complement to Ramit Sethi's first book, I Will Teach You to Be Rich, Money for Couples delves more deeply into the psychology of finances couples experience, provides insight into how to address issues, and offers templates, plans, and checklists for moving forward out of debt. Ramit also outlines how to save, invest, and save for large purchases such as vehicles, houses, vacations, and weddings. Specific scripts for handling money fights are also included. As did I Will Teach You to Be Rich, Money for Couples lays out a strategy for understanding money behaviors, eradicating debt, and moving into your next chapter: your rich life as a couple. If you're single, the lessons in the book still apply!

I am returning this book I recently received due to significant damage. The spine of the book is severely damaged, with a noticeable split causing the pages to become loose.Additionally, the back cover and several pages are bent, and the four corners of the book are also bent and misshapen.This is particularly disappointing because I pre-ordered this book and was excited to read it as soon as it arrived. Unfortunately, due to the extent of the damage, I am unable to keep the item in its current condition.I glanced through some of the chapters, and once again, Ramit does not disappoint. He perfectly blends humor with solid education, making for an enjoyable and easy-to-read experience. His writing style keeps you engaged while imparting valuable insights. That said, I’ll definitely be picking up this book in a bookstore instead of ordering it on Amazon. Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn with a smile.

We’ve been following Ramit for about a year now and his content, philosophy/approach, and system for managing finances has been incredibly helpful and inspiring for us. We’ve followed other financial gurus and tried their approach, but we were always left feeling stuck and hopeless. Ramit’s teachings allowed us to see money in a positive light and dream bigger.So far reading this book, it is exactly what he teaches and speaks about in his podcasts. It’s nice to have a tangible guide. He gave more content than what we needed. If you’re needing a coach (e.g tell you what to say to your partner) and someone to challenge you (he is real and straightforward), Ramit is your guy.We want to buy this book for loved ones as gifts. It’s such a powerful way to seeing money and gives lessons we wish we were taught when we were younger.

The book covers a topic that needs more attention and provides helpful tips, but the author drops a bomb with: "And then, the graver question, the one that's really difficult to ask: 'Is this the best partner you could have for your financial life for the next 20, 30, 40 years?'"If you're in a marriage going through financial stress and your spouse isn't on the same page, telling that person to imagine living their next 30 to 40 years feeling like they feel now essentially plants the seed for divorce.
