Works wonderfully for an aging parent with limited vision. She struggled trying to plug in the USB-C charging plug on her Kindle. Now she only needs to get the charging cord close to the charging port and they snap together. Excellent product that’s well worth the inexpensive investment to make a once difficult task very easy.

I initially purchased one of these just to try them out. After the initial run through, I've purchased about 6 of these now. However, after having had them for a few months, here are the issues I ran into. 1. They stop charging. I am not sure what happens but they just refuse to stay connect to charge. No matter what charger I use, it no longer works. 2. The center conductor falls off, and then it will no longer charge either. So two of them had the center conductor fall off, and since there is no contact with the transfers portion of the cable, it will not charge either. 3. If you are using this on your phone or tablet that has a case with it, it is very difficult to remove the adapter that connects the charging port to the cable. You have to remove the case, and then try to pry off the adapter. I wound up scratching my new phone trying to pry it off because the cable no longer worked. 4. This is power only and does not pass data. Therefore, if you want to use this to transfer files; it will not work. Out of the 6 that I have, I have now thrown away 4 of them so far. I am down to do, and will NEVER buy these again. It's just a fancy gimmick that isn't durable nor practical in real-world applications.

This cord quit working after 2 months!! Disappointing!

It's very strong and great magnetic connection for switching out tips. However the length is too short for me so, I'm going to order the 6ft one next time.

These are neat cables, and I'm impressed with the materials they're made out of, seems very durable. I think the other upside is that you could power 3 different types of devices with just one cable (not simultaneously of course, but swapping them). I was also psyched to find out that the Lightning connector fit with my phone case on my iPhone, which I was concerned about. It's snug and is squishing it a bit, but it clicks in and that beats having to take a hacksaw to the phone case to remove material for the magnetic dongle to fit. There are a number of problems, though: 1) I wish I had thought this through though. The Statik cable is kind of a new system which encourages you to keep the magnetic charging head in your device, which is suggested because they're so tiny and relatively easy to lose. But here's the problem with that. It kind of forces you to upgrade ALL your cables to this new technology, meaning many more Statik cables and also power bricks/cubes. I have a decent sized house - with 7 chargers dispersed around different rooms including in my car. That means at least $120 more for cables and however much for new bricks in order to replace all those chargers if they're not Quick Charge, which might be double the last figure or at least $200, probably! Doh! 2) I really wish the cable came with a power brick/cube. Most of mine are not QC 3.0! Until I noticed the warning on the packaging not to use a regular old (non quick-charging) power cube, I found out the hard way. I used an old Apple one & it overheated and stopped working. I actually was worried the cable had been broken in its first hour of use! Not the case, but that cube got so hot I wondered if it could have started a fire or something. Sketchy, do NOT use old power cubes. 3) The Gen 2 version I got seems to be made of better materials than Gen 1, but I failed to notice that it's lacking an interchangable power supply end, meaning one that converts from regular USB to USB C. I don't know if you've noticed, but most QC 3.0 cables utilize USB C, and yet the Gen 2 is lacking this feature. So I can't use the ONE power brick I own that I know for sure is QC 3.0, an Apple Quick Charge one that only has USB C on it. Major dilemma.. another reason I wish the unit came with a power brick. 4) Because of the above reasons, despite liking this technology and wanting to eventually upgrade all my chargers, I'm gonna initially go back to regular Lightning connector cables and just buy another charging cable for now. 5) The magnet is pretty strong, but I wish it was just a tiny bit little stronger. It can accidentally come out of charging sometimes if I move it around certain ways. 6) I wish the head of the cable rotated along with pivoting, but it turns out Statik already solved that with another cable they made, what seems like the latest version of this one. This would make it so that the magnetic connection would almost never accidentally come off. The next version I buy will be that one!

Working great I would buy again

This concept is so cool, but falls short of expectations. I initially used it to charge my phone. The cord was slightly draped over the arm of my recliner and the cable kept falling off. I next tried using it with my tablet while I was playing a game and, again, the cable kept falling off. I was able to charge up my phone and tablet overnight with the cable, but while both objects were still. I'll be returning this. There's no way I want to spend over $100 to upgrade all of my charging stations, just to have to fidget with a poorly connected cable. The only good thing I can say about it is that the cable materials seem to be very durable and the swivel and angle changing capacity is cool. But again, if it won't stay on with any movement of the device, what's the point?

I have seen these online and never thought I would find one of these magnetic phone charger cables I just love as now play games, surf the net, watch videos and I can keep my phone charge at the same time without having to remove the cable as it comes with a180° swivel head

Makes it so much easier for young children to charge their tablets. Wish I knew about this sooner ! Highly recommend this product .
