Do not rely on this!
Bought this to use as my only dSMB. Liked the fact it could be inflated in multiple ways. Took it out to test in calm waters. Found that the one way valve used for inflating via octo kept getting stuck but the oral/LP hose inflator worked well. used it 5 or 6 times just to practice and only one did the one way valve actually work. However I wasn't too fussed as I could still use it the the oral/LP inflator. Took it to the red sea. The first time I actually needed it to alert boat traffic of where we were coming up, I used my spare LP hose to inflate it, the material just above the stitching from the bag to the dSMB completely ripped away and the dSMB just floated off (luckily got found by another boat. So it is now useless as a dSMB. Thought I would keep it as an SMB but now it doesn't work when I connect an LP hose to it and only works with oral inflation. I thought being a mares product it would be reasonably good quality. I was mistaken.

The product is great. But be careful as description says “fins”. It’s a DSMB!
