SERIIOUS, HANDSOME AFRO-AMERICAN KEN IS A WINNER
Our Fashionista (#235) arrived yesterday. He is handsome, serious and has moulded hair in corn-rows. He wears a stretchy cotton jumpsuit with an elasticated waist for ease of dressing. He also has lime green slides. His legs move back and forth but his arms also move in and out. We have named him John after singer/songwriter John Legend. Our John is also a singer and composer and is a pillar of our Barbie-verse community. He lives with his wife (Barbie Fashionista #182) who he met when he was a judge on a talent show and she was a singer. They have two children, 'tweenager' Skipper dog-sitter (HKD77) and their lively little boy (Chelsea Club HNY58) - available on Amazon at very good prices. John's family are known to help those in their community who are in need and throw wonderful BBQs for their neighbours. They may even become ambassadors for UNICEF. In our Barbie-world his (and her) storylines will be about two talented people who grew grew up with little but who are now channelling their success and using their fame to help others by being a force for good in the world. This doll is an inspirational winner.

Excellent value for money and imaginative play
I bought this doll for my 6 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves him and he has fun days out with his gymnast girlfriend in her bright pink Barbie car. He has been named Timothy. The doll is well made with easy to move limbs and provides excellent imaginative play opportunities.

Gorgeous face mould, odd body.
Bought the new totally hair Ken just for his handsome face mould with beard and handsome good looks. His beard is detailed which is nice! His clothes are good, love the top! Which is a tribute to totally hair Barbie and Ken. Now my negatives His hair is plastic moulded.. considering he is a tribute to totally hair Barbie this is laughable. Now onto the worst part. His very skinny childlike body does not match his head and face mould at all! So I swapped it right away to a muscular MTM body type which is so much better. Overall he is worth it because is he just so gorgeous!! But if you’re like me you’ll want to change a few things about him. Mainly his body.

Pleasantly surprised!
I literally only bought this item because I had been looking at it for a while but had made no plans to buy it until it temporarily dropped in price & I thought why not? I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was, the only thing missing for me, was articulation (which I prefer) I soon remedied that with a made to move body & that was it. Well made & worth the price.
