Their quick response to the issue and their great customer service was awesome.2/3/18 Zero stars! Piece of crap umbrella! I bought this umbrella to replace my 5yr old umbrella that was on its way out and this umbrella sat on my desk for 3 months until I was finally ready to use it and the first time I open it up all the sticks under the umbrella break off. And the worst part is that since i had it there for 3 months before opening it, i missed the return window by 10 days and now I'm stuck with it.

It's hard to find a cute umbrella with a unique pattern that's actually sturdy and won't flip inside-out with strong gusts of wind. I live in a very windy city and this umbrella did the trick. It's a decent size and it lets enough light shine through that you feel a little less dreary walking in the rain - the blue skies help with that too.I left this on a bus shortly after purchasing it, and immediately purchased it again because it was a perfect umbrella for an unbeatable price.

Easy to travel with.It's pretty easy to open and close with no issues, simply just push the button to open or close. I like the push button close feature so I don't have to struggle closing the umbrella when getting into my house or car. When its pouring rain, you need the most versatility you can get.This umbrella also comes with a nice quality sleeve to protect it. Instead of a cheap nylon material, the umbrella sleeve holder is a soft velvety type material.Overall, this is a great product and well worth the price. Will buy another shortly, as this umbrella comes in many cool styles and prints

I give it two stars because it was so cute. However, the second time my daughter used it, the wind (which was not that strong) blew it inside out and snapped the plastic joints on one side, rendering the umbrella useless. I wish it was made of sturdier materials. I would have liked to give it five stars.UPDATE: Seller sent a replacement and it is holding up much better than the first one.

Update: After my review the company contacted me and sent me a new replacement in perfect working order. I gave it more stars for customer service alone.At first I loved this umbrella. It was compact, and it opened and closed with the push of a button! But once I opened it 3-4 times inside...I know, bad luck, one of the linkages broke. It looks like the composite piece on the very end of one of the arms snapped. It looks like it wasn't fully crimped, and it just cut through it. I know it wasn't $100, but it should last for more than 3 openings. I'll probably end up shipping it back, which in itself is a hassle.If you asked me my opinion, I'd say buyer beware. I'm sure there are folks out there that love this umbrella, but I'd have to disagree.

I needed an inexpensive and reasonably decent looking umbrella and was really surprised with this one. It was a little smaller in many respects than what I expected, but that is actually nice in the city -> big umbrellas on busy and sometimes windy sidewalks, ugh. The build quality is excellent and honestly, if this one breaks or goes missing, I plan to replace it with the very same. I can't comment on any substantial 'windproofness' at this time. The product is sturdy and maybe not the best choice for large-handed people. Very pleased with my purchase.

Winter is coming and personally, I like black color.Easy to use and lightweight.You can put it in your personal bag.Also, it's large enough for both kids and adults.The brand is really recommended from my side.

It was raining so much recently. Needed something like this item to keep me dry. Yesterday I went to the East coast in Florida where it rains a lot because of tropical storm Humberto.And decided to take my new umbrella with me. Ny first impression the umbrella is durable, lightweight, compact. It is quick drying too.Convenient for traveling. It fits everywhere from a car door to the travel backpack, and you hardly notice the umbrella is there.Forgot to mention that the handle has a good grip. Umbrella is automatic, easily opens by pressing a button, so no wrestling with the opening mechanism. The umbrella comes with a waterproof case.

Great little umbrella to carry around in a handbag, comes in a lovely silky pouch and looks really well made. Has bendable framework which is probably what makes it unbreakable. I have the bigger version of this umbrella too but love the size of it and feels extremely sturdy. Tried it whilst we had storm Eric and it survived. You can test windproofness by swinging the open umbrella around you. It IS possible to get it to turn inside out if you swing really hard, but it easily pops back in. If it's SUPER windy I don't think any umbrella is going to do you any good anyway, you get wet nonetheless!Some people are saying it's not compact or lightweight. Well, it's 369 grams, you decide if that's heavy or not. I don't think it is, and if it were lighter it would be weaker. The length when fully closed is about 11 inches, so not that compact, but I've used more compact ones before and they have an extra fold in the arms, which again means they are weaker by design.I've not had it for that long, some other reviewers have stated it broke eventually, so if mine does I'll come back here to update. Check the date of this review and if there's no updates then the umbrella is still going strong!

This umbrella is very good quality, the frame is sturdy so should last a while. The fabric is lightweight and kinda see through in the sense that you can see bits of light if you hold it up to the sunlight but still does the job of keeping the water out (suppose it means its quicker drying).The handle is spot on, shouldn't slip out your hand if wet and the mechanism is great too, very responsive and works quickly.The 2 things I don't like about this umbrella are the cover (Its soft velvet, not water resistant at all) and that the centre section of the umbrella has a square cut out so you have to get it lined up just right in order to close it correctly.

So far no problems at all with this umbrella. Fits well in briefcase for work - not too heavy or too big. Spring on release is very powerful so when pressing the launch button to open it pointing away from other people or animals is advisable and keep tight hold otherwise it flies off and does its own thing. Seems to be very sturdy and supplier puts a lifetime replacement notification if anything does go wrong with it which is very impressive.

This is a very compact umbrella, even smaller than others I have purchased. The up/down button is easy to operate and to close it you push the two ends together, you will need to use some force as it is quite stiff, then twirl it around in your hand and fasten with the Velcro. The quality of this seems good especially considering the low cost.

I recently purchased two of these umbrellas on the strength of reviews left by others. I am really pleased that I did because the umbrellas are of really good quality, sturdy and reliable. We were able to use the umbrellas in windy conditions without the worry that the wind will turn them upside down and splash us or leave us wet despite actually carrying umbrellas (which used to be the case with other, less strong umbrellas). The open and close mechanism works reliably too, and really does give you the confidence you are holding a solid umbrella. We also found them to be quick-drying which is great. The umbrellas came in cellophane covers over a velour carry bag which is quite elegant and would also make a lovely gift. Very pleased with the umbrellas and thank you SY Umbrella for an excellent customer service.
