Works for tx and rx also.
I use it for a different purpose and it works great.

Good when it works, but poor durability...
The antenna worked several months and then it suddenly stopped broadcasting a signal. I bought another antenna thinking mine might have been defective, but the other one also only lasted for several months. This is such a disappointment that these things aren't made with durability in mind, because while they were working I was able to resolve all the issues I had with a Bluetooth Transmitter, and could get reception to it from almost any room in the house.

Looks to be great build quality
Figured it would just be a small booster chip inside but I was wrong. I have not tested it yet but I'm assuming it will work great. I will return once I have tested

Does exactly as advertised. Worth it.
Ordered two of these to boost WiFi signal on a recording unit for a camera system. The recording unit had two internal antennas. I disconnected the internal antennas, popped a couple holes in the housing to allow replacement antennas to be hooked up to the units board, installed these amps between the unit and external antenna. The recording unit is in my basement, in a fully enclosed steel rack). The WiFi signal strength on the outdoor camera the furthest away went from an unreliable and choppy 26% strength all the way up to 80%, which allowed for its UHD video quality and responsive control of the camera again. Absolutely, 100% worth the money and did as advertised. All plug and play, absolutely zero configuration or setup beyond hooking up cables.

Strange use made my life easier.
Added this for a zaxom unit for audio and time code on films and commercials. Tested with the unit in my basement. Before the booster could barely get out of the house, after got 4 houses down the road.

Did not do a thing
Like my title says, this device did not do a thing. I hooked it up to the wifi modem in an LED sign at church in an effort to improve connectivity to the sign. The sign is changed through an app that connects via wifi and with just an antenna hooked up you have to stand right beside it with the panel open to connect. I hooked the device up paying attention to the polarity, all of the connectors are RP-SMA. Saw zero improvements in connectivity.

Works great!
I used this to boost the signal of a wireless surveillance camera. It made a huge difference in the signal and now the camera works great.

This is a felony to even sell. Lol
This isn't legal at all. You can transmit 1/4w, not 4W, lol. Might be a typo.
