It is good and makes a drastic colour change from white to a darkish grey. To achieve black in buttercream it has to go through a heat process followed by a cooling process(short bursts in the microwave, followed by freezer for 10 mins). This process needs to be repeated to achieve the desired black you want. I had to do this process twice...but the colour was black/black. You get plenty in this size bottle. Its easy to use and was effective initially as stated. It left no taste what i could tell in the buttercream. Its good value for money considering size of bottle.

Love these little bottles of food colourings they’re so easy to use. The bottle size is 10ml and not 6ml like most of the other ones I saw, so going to last a long time that makes them great value for money. I was going to buy the ready to roll coloured blocks but my granddaughter wanted a full rainbow coloured cake that would have cost so much more than these did! Under £6 for a box of 14 compared to over £20 for the blocks! Also there’s no nasty taste to these like ones I’ve had in the past. (Picture isn’t my cake- I haven’t stacked mine yet- but my colours have come out the same so very pleased).

Perfect!!!😍😍at last found a size bigger than small. It's going to be worth the money...that's for sure. 14.1cm with the lid. the bottle alone 11.5cm and comes filled to the top of food colouring.
