A great electric gun that my 10 yr old and 2 1/2 yr old could both use.The battery lasts well and when it does run out you can pump it manually.Defo recommendOnly downside is the battery charge time at 2/3 hrs.

The media could not be loaded. Firstly the positives: The gun feels sturdy and sucks up water very well. The gun has recoil so you feel every shot, and ever shot discharges a fair amount of water.The negatives: The gun does not fire very far. It shoots about 2m with force, but after this the water distribution breaks up and loses distance at around 5-6m (see my video)The main problem is the leakage. This may be down to my particular unit being faulty, but as it was bought new and at £69.99 I would expect a better experience. If you watch my video you can clearly see that after ever shot a short stream of low pressure water is ejected from the shooting nozzle. This coincides with the recharge reservoir noise. I have to assume the gun is pushing out unused water from the reservoir.Now, this doesn't seem like and issue but it does prevent the user from staying dry and also means the gun is empty with 25 shows still being shown on the digital readout.I may buy another to check if mine is faulty. If this is the case, I will increase my rating to 3 stars. If the pressure increases. 4 stars.Update: I bought a second unit which luckily did not have the discharge issue after each shot. However, the power was identical and after filling up several times (about 8 full fills in total) the gun started to multiple fire by itself. This could be 2 shots or upto 6 shots, which happened randomly. The multiple shots were also only registered on the digital display as 1 shot. So after running out of water i could be left with 60 shots left on the display. This started happening after aproximately 5 full refills.The gun was fully charged and still had about 40% battery after my total use of around 800 shots.I have returned as the gun is not fit for purpose as every use sees it fail a little more and leaves me questioning the longevity of the guns internal mechanism.Would I recommend? Absolutely not!Update 2: I bought a spyra 3 and the difference is chalk and cheese. The spyra is quite a bit more expensive and does have to be delivered from Germany, which, for me, involved customs charges. Spyra did however reinburse me the £40+ customs charge meaning the gun was £127 on sale. This is £60 more than the amazon gun, but there is no comparison. The spyra uses an inflating bladder and shoots a 30ml (on low power) "bullet" of water. When compared to the 6ml the amazon (this advert) shoots. I cannot explain how different they are.Bear in mind the spyra 3 is also fully automatic (3 modes) its also self filling and waterproof.Save and buy the spyra! Its amazing.Watch my video for a comparison. Note: Amazon does sell the manual spyra which is nearly as powerful as the spyra 3, but half the price.

This is really good so far and hasn't broke yet, but I love this water gun.

I tried to get the spryro water gun but settled for this and it did not fail did everything and more lasted the whole day and I love it it's now my go to water gun 😀

Disappointed from the advertising I was expecting more power. I’ve got better results from mechanical water pistols. This has little power and range. Avoid.

Used last summer no problems, this summer within a few uses now doesn't reload itself not even had a year as of yet

Bought this initially to wash something off my top window as it was on the outside. Then spent most of the time messing around soaking people. Very good fun and easy to use.

YTKIH Electric Water Guns for KidsThe first thing I have to say is that my water gun arrived damaged so I have been unable to test it's performance, the plastic spray nozzle cap was split with a big hole in the side. This appears to be a manufacturing error and not damage obtained during shipping, so quality control may not be that great with this toy?The gun is quite large and made solely from plastic, it has an attachable water tank, along with gun sight that slides on the top of the gun. The plastic used is quite thick and appears reasonably strong and sturdy. Also included is a 1200 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery which takes between 3-4 hours to fully charge, this will provide around 20 minutes use.The gun sight slides onto a runner on top of the gun. The water tank will take around 500ml of water, this pushes up into the underside of the gun. Although the battery will power this for just 20 minutes, after that the gun can still be used as there is a pump action handle on the front that allows you to squirt water manually. The gun is rated IP67 so it is waterproof to a degree, but cannot be immersed in water for more than 5 minutes or damage may occur.Sadly due to the gun being damaged on arrival, I am unable to try out the electric squirting function, which is a shame as my son was looking forward to this.
