Cooking has turned in to one of my passions over time. I’m not really good at it but the family rarely objects to my culinary efforts these days. So I must be improving. Only during the weekend I have sufficient time to cook , and that’s when I usually spent about 90 minutes on a meal each day of the weekend. Then I typically make a large quantity so that we can have the left over halfs later in the week, which saves me time preparing meals on weekdays and get the family another high quality dish. If we don’t eat it my leftover creation within a few days I’ll freeze it. However I started to have issues with the pastic containers we have used so far - they are are often too large and bulky for our freezer’s limited space, making them hard to squeeze in. Disposable plastic zip bag are a solution but a bit of a waste and not really environmentally friendly, so I was glad I stumbled up on these bags. The 10 reusable storage bags in this are very sturdy and durable yet flexible. The zip closes tightly and doesn’t open easily. So they are of good quality. My only issue is that I would prefer a couple that were double the size of the largest ones in the pack now. I now have to use two bags often to store a large meal for four. It is not recommend to put them in the dishwasher. Therefore my wife wasn’t too keen on using them. But it works well in practice - the bags are easily rinsed and then dried. I also use them to freeze meat and chicken. I also also make large portions of fresh creamy spinach upfront for like the next two months, again these bags are great for storing this in the freezer.

I have used, washed, and reused these for years and they never let me down.

I bought these as I ran out of the ones I normally purchase from a well known Scandinavian home store. These were a lot cheaper so I was very sceptical about the quality. I then saw a picture of these holding liquid upside down so I thought it would be worth a try. The seals are tight and could hold liquid in with no leaks. What impressed me most was the thickness and the size. I will probably stock up on the medium size ones but have a few of the other sizes in the cupboard. Well worth a try in my opinion.
