these are not bad for the money or for a good starting set or for your first Renaissance fair or Halloween costume. they definitely have that fake feel and look, but they play the part well. Especially for someone who’s getting into Renaissance or looking for a great choice for an inexpensive Halloween costume. Pretty solid for the money.

A budget-friendly set of faux-leather gear that looks the part for Renaissance Fairs, with durability limits to be aware of. I purchased this set several months ago, around the same time as my cloak, to complete a Renaissance Fair outfit. The kit included a belt, a loop for my 3D-printed painted sword, a holder for a 3D-printed axe, and two metallic loops. I’ve worn it across multiple days at a few different events. In terms of comfort, it was fine for extended wear. I didn’t experience any major issues with rubbing or stiffness, and it stayed in place well throughout the day. The belt was the only item with sizing involved, and it fit as described. The material is clearly faux leather and not high-end, but that was expected at this price point. Visually, it works well as part of a costume and pairs nicely with other Ren Faire gear. It did exactly what I bought it for without any surprises. That said, the durability is limited. It seems like it would hold up if treated gently, but after several uses it’s already starting to show some wear. This isn’t a long-term, heavy-use piece, but it’s adequate for occasional events. Overall, this is a solid option if you’re looking for affordable costume accessories to complete a Renaissance Fair or cosplay outfit. For the price, it met my expectations, and I would buy it again knowing its limitations.

Not bad! Belt is crazy stiff, so trying to get it to soften and bend so I can knot it... A double D ring would have been nice... Not sure why people complain about the sword holster... It fits mine, with lots of room to spare, and mine is about 2" at the widest... The other "holder" can be used for a blunderbuss/flintlock, an axe, a bottle of something, etc... I haven't tried the skirt holders yet... Material is decent... It's just trying to figure out how to soften everything to open it all out, because it's all creased from laying flat... Il try some heat on it, but don't want the material to separate... I also plan on "aging" the set a bit re sanding and paint...

Als Accessoires für Karneval zum Schildmaid Kostüm. Hatte mir dazu auch noch die passende Tasche der selben Marke bestellt. Sah gut aus und perfekt, um die Hände frei zu haben. Wenn man es nicht besser wüsste, könnte man es für Leder halten (gilt auch für die Tasche). Aber tierleidfrei - Perfekt!
