Good fit, quality feel, haven't yet gotten sunburned
Tested these in an intense tropical sun environment, they work great and saves the trouble of using a ton of sunblock. The material feels dense, just be aware it's a synthetic fabric.

Great shirt
My husband has a lot of Actinic Keratosis on both his arms. These shirts allow him to be outside without using sunblock on them. They really work. Shirt is very good quality. Sizing was perfect. Washes up well. He loves the fabric which is light weight and the fit. Purchased a large He is 6 feet and 195 for reference.

Comfortable protection for summertime chores **2026 Update**
Seeking protection from too much sun exposure whilst doing yard chores (lawn mowing, gardening, etc.), I had been wearing some old cotton long sleeve sweats and Ts. I got this shirt just in time for a string of sweltering hot 90 degree days! Bought a light color for working in the sun. Color was as expected. Oatmeal. It's a very comfortable lightweight polyester weave. The stitching is nice, and it's double stitched at the cuffs and shoulder drops, so hoping for some durability. Fit-wise, I normally have been getting large tops, but for this item, I followed the online advice and got a medium (I'm about 5' 10", not too much gut). It's actually a perfect fit for my needs - loose, yet not too baggy. The material does wick sweat as advertised, and you'll feel cooler if you move from sunlight into shade. If you're a logo conscious person, the "Baleaf" logo is reflective yet discrete. Lastly, I haven't laundered this yet. Don't expect any issues though. Will update my review if needed. I guess they were initially packaged in a fancier bag - mine arrived in a no frills plastic wrap. As long as the shirt is quality, that's fine by me. Anyway, so far this shirt is a win for my needs, and if it holds up, I'll probably grab another one. :) *****UPDATE 2026***** My first Baleaf shirt made it through a season of domestic yard work just fine. Launders without issues. Pretty much looks like when I bought it, and I wore it about a dozen times that first season. Blocks the sun quite well, IMHOP. Love this style of shirt for the sun protection and comfort. I no longer feel "weird" wearing a long sleeve shirt on a hot summer's day! (definitely not meant for cold weather) And love the Baleaf brand. I now own several of these shirts in different colors, and I wear them both for outdoor work and casual. Could be that since this was the first shirt I bought of its kind, I also prefer the finishing/stitching of the Baleaf brand compared to another brand I have since tested. On the Baleaf brand, the long sleeve seams double stitching is on the inside of the sleeve, giving it a more 'tailored' look. Another brand I bought the sleeve seam stitching is on the outside of the shirt. Just something to be aware of. If you keep an eye out, these go on on sale or there may be a coupon for a couple bucks off on occasion, yet I think these shirts are well worth the regular price. :)

Nice shirt at a good price
These are nice shirts for the price and have minimal graphics (brand name) which I prefer. I purchased a large which is a little tight and the sleeves could be longer. If you wear a large in Columbia PFG fishing shirts, this is smaller but I like the way it fits tightly around the neck. Columbia large is too loose on me. May try the Baleaf XL if the neck fits tightly.

Content with the durability, comfort and stretch.
Used these for work. The material is soft, light, stretchy and survived many, many wash cycles without any change concerning size or texture. Out of the bag, they had a slight chemical smell, but that went away after the first wash cycle. These even worked well in cool weather - they managed to keep me warm enough to work outside. Honestly, you could wear these for work, for a workout, for a nice morning or evening walk... just about anything! Shirts will yellow after using them consistently. But that's to be expected. Considering the durability and the low price, I can't be anything other than content with the product.

Sunprotective shirt
Husband not to be exposed to sun. Nice shirt, lightweight, pleasing color. Washes well without shrinking. May run a bit large. Usually wears a large but medium just right. He appreciates lightweight sun protective clothing.

Lightweight Sun Shirt That Works On and Off the Water
Lightweight Sun Shirt That Works On and Off the Water I’ve been using this Baleaf long-sleeve rash guard for fishing, hiking, and just being outdoors, and it has quickly become a go-to shirt. The material is very lightweight and breathable, which makes a big difference on hot days. It doesn’t cling uncomfortably, and it dries fast after sweat or water exposure, so I never feel damp for long. The UPF 50+ sun protection is the real highlight—it’s reassuring to know I’m not frying under the sun, and I don’t have to keep reapplying sunscreen on my arms and shoulders as much. The fit (I got a size L) is relaxed but not baggy; it allows for easy movement when casting a line or carrying gear. The stitching and finish are solid, with no loose threads after several washes. What I especially like is that the shirt works in casual settings too—it doesn’t scream “technical gear.” I’ve worn it at the beach and even for errands, and it still looks good. If there’s one thing to note, it’s that the fabric is very thin (which I actually like), so it’s best as a hot-weather shirt rather than for cooler evenings. Bottom line: A versatile, comfortable, and protective sun shirt that performs just as well fishing as it does for everyday outdoor activities.

Bra solskydd

Very good comfortable and cool fiits well
Bought to keep off the sun when working outside in strong sun and it seems to. I am larger than I would like to be around the waist and this fits loosely. I expected it to be too tight but it is exactly right. Cool when working, lets any breeze through. Long sleeves can be used to cover the hands and long in the body so no gap when bending. Edited June 2019 to say I just bought two more as they are very comfortable, also long in the body so good 'coverage' when working. Bought as I didn't want to be without one in future.

Very comfortable and a good size
At the moment I am between sizes - some xl fit, some are too small. This xxl is very generous in its sizing and comfortable. I have not used it on a ride yet to see how well it will wick moisture. Also note that the description is incorrect - is is NOT A HOODIE. This is fine for me, I did not want a hood.
