A great device
This document camera performs all its features just as described, with aplomb. The resolution and text clarity are wonderful. The gooseneck makes it wonderfully adaptable to different viewing situations.

Not worth the $50 :(
I got the camera in August and it lasted till December. In November the focus button stopped working and the only way I could get it to focus was my unplugging it and plugging it back in. Not a huge deal. A couple weeks later it no longer showed up on my computer as a usb option. I checked multiple other usb devices and they worked perfectly. Maybe it was just mine, but I was very disappointed to have to buy another one halfway through the year. While it did work, it worked well. One thing I found annoying was that I had to turn it to the side to get the picture to appear portrait style, but again, not a huge deal.

did not work for me
I was hoping to use this like a scanner where I could take a photo, name, and save image. I didn't have any luck finding any software to do this efficiently.
