This was very simple to put together and looks really good. I was concerned because my over the toilet area is so small but it turned out perfect. It was hard to get the wall mount right because its tight but I got it in there enough to hold. Im not using the bottom connector because I dont think I need to and not sure how I would get it in there anyway. Would have to move the hose around and try to get the tool back there to get it in and It feels sturdy enough without it. Good quality. Here's the bins I used: GRANNY SAYS Small Storage Bins with Lids, Small Storage Boxes, Shelf Baskets for Shelf, Collapsible Storage Bins for Living Room, Bedroom, 10x8x7 Inch Bagnizer Small Plastic Storage Bins with Bamboo Lids 5.2qt Stackable They can also be put sideways for more use but its a little tight.

I was very pleased with this shelf. It was easy to put together, looks nice, and is light weight. I was waiting to paint a water pipe cover (which had rusted) that goes from the toilet into the wall before securing it in place and had put very few things on it. As a basically bare, clean shelving unit, it started molding badly within two months. I live in a very humid environment (Hawaii), off-grid. My bathroom was pretty clean and it was coated (mainly in the joints but also some slats) with mold. It took quite a while to clean with a toothbrush and a good quality mold / enzyme spray and I put it outside on my covered porch to see if the problem was solved. Quickly, mold started forming again. I’m going to need to clean it again and maybe paint or cover with polyurethane to seal it. I don’t know if there’s something on the shelf that would cause it to mold so quickly but after cleaning it thoroughly, it’s coming right back so maybe that’s just the nature of bamboo in this location.

I really like the dark "wood" color of this shelf. It fits over my toilet no problem, even with lid up, but may not work with a really high toilet. Just measure first! I've bought two of these, they are both in my bathroom, one has the laundry hamper underneath. It is stable (I'm using on hard floor), and was fairly easy to put together, I did it by myself (middle aged, female.) The second one I just bought came with some hanging hooks and a toilet paper hanger. The shelves are slatted, if you have smaller items, cover with a solid piece of cardboard or thick plastic shelf liner so stuff doesn't fall through. I have the 3-shelf one, I like it. I've bought other things from Songmics, I like their stuff it is good quality.

Looks great! Easy to assemble. The gray color also looks a little blue, but I love blue so doesnt bother me at all. I brought for 1 bathroom but buying for our 2nd as well because it looks so good.

This is a compact bathroom organizer, great for people who are short and have little space. My bathroom is so small I can put my feet on the wall and my knees will bend. I NEEDED something small. Directions say you need a drill, but that’s only if you’re drilling this into the wall. The allen wrench that comes with it will be just fine for setting up the organizer itself. I needed to remove some of the planks (none of the weight bearing ones) to fit around my toilet, and it is still quite sturdy despite that. It wobbles a bit even with all the pieces if you try hard enough, but that’s to be expected with a thinner wood piece. I wish this was a little taller because the spaces between the bottom and middle shelf can’t fit much more than a toilet paper roll sized item. It’s a bit inconvenient since I have a lot of taller bottles that don’t all just fit on the top shelf, but it’s versatile and I’m pretty happy with the piece itself. The toilet paper holder and towel rings is a really nice plus, and with the slots on the shelves, it is easy to stick any kinds of lights or fake flowers in it if you wanted to decorate your organizer. I’m quite happy with this piece for the price that it is. Definitely works within a college kid budget!

Ordered this item about 6 months ago, been using it daily in my small kitchen ever since. Love this item!!! Great color, super sturdy and holds tons of stuff! Live in very small house, and this isn’t even used as an over toilet, it is in my kitchen and I use it as my make shift pantry since I have little to zero closets and little to none sq footage 🤦‍♀️… I can put taller things below in the open bottom, and it’s truly a space saver! I even have lots of canned goods on all the shelves. Love how much weight it holds, looks great, get many compliments on it always, plus it’s easy assembly, did it myself. I just noticed it’s on sale today for about $52, same color that I originally bought, so I just ordered two more of them which will also solve frustrating space issues in my other rooms. Not just for the bathroom, it’s a strong, sturdy space saver in any room, think out of the box 😂 Highly recommend this item!!! 💐

It is genuinely frustrating to give this review only three stars. It’s hard to find a good shelf that goes over the toilet or washer. I have purchased products from SONGMICS before and had a generally positive experience in build quality. When I first opened the box I was impressed. The shelves themselves feel hefty and good quality. The wood looked nice. This was delivered after I had already found an over the toilet shelf I liked, but instead of returning this one I decided to keep it and use it as an over the litter box shelf because it seemed high quality. That was my mistake. Putting it together was a chore. It took longer than the instructions imply and definitely would be easier with two people, but I don’t deduct points for that. The screws and the hex wrench/ Allen key however, are both low quality. Every single screw appears off centered by a different amount. The hex wrench is made of such cheap metal that it became unusable before the job was finished. I have my own of the same size, but I prefer to use the tools included since they’re ideally the best for the job. I don’t recommend using a drill with a hex bit either. I did it all by hand and the wood on one piece still started to split, so I have to assume a drill would be even worse. The top and bottom halves didn’t come close to being flush. I understand minor variations. It’s a pet peeve normally, until it becomes a structural integrity issue. At a certain price point I do expect those variations to be within much smaller margins. Finally, for SOMGMICS or anyone designing an over the toilet shelf and anyone buying one, a few things to consider: The bottom of legs themselves are not adjustable and did not come with screw in furniture levelers, just a felt pad on each leg. By design most bathrooms floors aren’t going to be even. They’re designed to drain. Buildings age over time as well. I’ll have to use shims or figure out another solution. This is the third shelf I’ve seen where the instructions specify screwing in a piece after you set the self up behind the toilet. Do the people designing these not understand they’re going up against a wall, behind a toilet, usually between a sink and a wall, making it impossible to screw with a Hex Key? I will say that if none of the above bothers you, it does fit over the cat litter box. I’d like to return it but I’m unfortunately too injured to take it back apart and carry it down three flight of stairs and to a Whole Foods, so at least I’ll get some use out of it.

Product came broke I had to glue pieces together so it’s very unstable.

Rented an apartment with a REALLY small ensuite bathroom and no storage. This product fixed the problem. Only challenge I had was that it was not tall enough for me to be able to open the toilet seat lid fully so had to prop it up on some small white storage boxes to raise the height but once that was done it was perfect! Prompt delivery and easy to assemble

Very easy to build, great quality bamboo wood and its the perfect size for my small bathroom!! So happy i now get to organize my products.
