Thomas & Friends: Railway Race Day Lift-a-Flap Noisy Sound Book - PI Kids

My son (18months) loves this book. He always points at all his books and says "Choo Choo", we know he wants this! It's fun and interactive as there's sounds to accompany the story and flaps to lift for more detail. Would highly recommend.

I don’t know whether to give this 5 stars or 1 star tbh. Our children absolutely LOVE this book - we were given it when our eldest was 2, and it mysteriously vanished from our home by the time our youngest was 2. No idea where it went, of course. Definitely not the highest shelf in the house to collect dust for several months. On the other hand, this is possibly the most annoying book we have EVER owned, and I of course got a copy for my nephew for his 2nd birthday. I’m sure it’s now safely high up on a shelf in my sister’s house, too. That said, the story is engaging, there are lots of sound options to press throughout and the sounds themselves aren’t the worst. It’s just that there’s a lot of buttons to press and that’s very exciting and will literally bring hours of uninterrupted fun. Only so many times you can hear 8 sounds in a row on repeat before you go slightly mad.

absolutely terrific.....my 18 month old girl would not part from the book for over half an hour!

Say what you like about me but I LOVE Thomas the Tank Engine and have done ever since he chuffed onto my television screen back in 1982, narrated by the great Ringo Starr (of theBeatles fame, sic). Even way back then I was probs too old (thirteen) for the demographic (if such things existed in those days), but who gives a flying fig? TheFartController (sic), Tuby, Gooden, Perky, All them (sic). Nothing was or could be better ever. Rods Tewart (sic), Cli Ffrichard (sic), Tight Fit, Rene and Renata, Mari Wilson, Shalamar, King Creole and the Coconuts, The Belle Stars, etc, etc, not even Huckleberry Finn could hold a candle to Thomas (yes he could!). It’s a shame what they’ve did to him (or in his name) since, and I bet the Rev Awdry would turn over in his gravy to hear about all the scurrilous changes what have been foisted on his meisterwerk in the name of progress and all that that word means but oh, what days they were. Tinkle.
