Curry Sauce Co Malaysian Rendang Sauce: a thick, mild Malay curry sauce with a delicious satay taste, full of flavour and ideal for serving with beef, lamb or chicken. To make Malaysian Rendang Curry: • Stir fry 500g cubed beef, lamb or chicken with 2 tbsps oil on a high heat for 1-2 minutes, and transfer to an oven-proof dish. • Shake the Malaysian Rendang curry sauce well and add to the dish with a little water. Cook in a medium oven until tender - approx. 2 hours for beef, 1 hour for lamb or 45 minutes for chicken. • Rendang is a traditional dry curry with a thick sauce, but check during cooking that the sauce does not dry out. • To serve, garnish with flaked almonds or cashew nuts and serve with rice.
