A good source of protein and satisfying chocolate taste without significantly impacting my glucosamine level. Filling. Good taste. When fresh chewy but not too much.

As a person that has tried my fair share of protein bars and shakes over the course of nearly 30 years now, back when they all seemed to taste like a combination of dirt and gravel back in the 90s to this most recent brand, they have come a long way. Being completely transparent like most people knocking on 50, I may have fallen off a bit in my exercise routine and my diet and I am slowly starting to work Healthier meals and supplements back into my lifestyle. I have recently tried two other brands with varying levels of resentment and or or satisfaction LOL, this was a very impulsive buy because it was the most expensive. It was one of those look away and Press the purchase button. To my surprise and shock, this was by far and away the best tasting protein bar that I've had since starting to experiment with them again adding to the fact that they have 45 g of protein which is double of the other protein bars I tried. It's chewy unlike one or the other bars that I've recently purchased that weee more like trying to rip a piece of jerky off and chew it up. I don't need any other flavors. Salted caramel and dark chocolate is my go-to so I am a little biased. The A few extra dollars this is costing me is outweighed by the amount of protein that comes with it, a fair amount of fat which is always good, carbs are just a little bit higher than I would like but I can live with that, add to the fact that this keeps me full and satiated for a while while while I'm at a work trudging my way through a 12-hour shift And I put something healthy in my mouth instead of a Snickers bar. I will be coming back to this brand again and again, didn't think I was going to find one that I liked after three tries so this makes me very happy.

For the calorie and protein content, this bar could taste a lot worse. They are a little hard if that’s an issue for you but I thought with a glass of water they went down fine. These are more a convenience protein bar than something to satisfy a craving, and that’s not a bad thing if you’re aware of it when you buy it.

These bars are great! Filling, lots of protein and minimal sugar.

I purchased this bar when it went on sale for Black Friday (want to say it was like 28 bucks compared to the usual 40) I actually enjoyed the taste, had been wanting to try these for a while because the macros are absolutely fantastic compared to other protein bars. I normally ate them right after a lift and before cardio, it gave a good energy boost and wasn’t overly filling. While I’m rating these bars 5 stars some of you will probably find them a bit harder than you’d like and because they are expensive and I can’t say I’ll be buying them again unless there’s another sale

The bars arrived without any staleness issues. As someone who eats protein bars every day, the taste was mediocre. The bars are big, dense, and extremely chewy to a degree that they are unpleasant. The low sugar content is nice but not noticeably different from the sugar content of other protein bars. They are convenient to carry around but inconvenient to eat because it is a chore to sit there and chew for an extended period of time to make it possible to swallow. At the price point, this claim in the "About this item" section seems outdated marketing at best and misleading at worst: "best protein-to-value ratio in any bar". Pure Protein bars right now are fewer than $0.06 / gram of protein. These Musashi bars are closer to $0.08 / gram of protein.

This bar is larger than the bars I usually eat so the calories and protein are higher. This is exactly what my husband needed. He has one in the morning and pretty much powers him until dinner. I am not recommending you use them that way. They are also tasty.

An unbelievable amount of protein. Do not buy for the flavor, eat this for 45g of protein and nothing more
