They work!
I might be late to the game, as until a month ago I had never heard of dryer balls. Having been enlightened by a few people, I decided to get some and I am glad that I did. The package comes with 6 balls. The first time I used them was with a large load of sheets and I put in all 6 balls. Usually the dryer sheet gets rolled into and stuck in a sheet, rendering the load still damp and all twisted up The dryer balls prevented that from happening. My clothes are coming out dry, no static (which, to me, is the best feature), and less wrinkly. I can't say that there's any scent, but I can live without a dryer sheet smell if the load is dry, wrinkle-free and no static. I'm not sure how long they last--will they have to be replaced after X number of uses to keep getting results? I have only used them for 3 weeks so I can't say.

Great product
Love these! I save so much money not buying dryer sheets and don't have to worry about the chemicals in them as well. They last long and work well.

These work great (too)
I copied my review from another set of dryer balls to use here as well, because both sets work great. As I mention below, I thought I might need two sets to rotate between loads. It turns out that I did not, so I'll pass one set along to someone else. Anyway, on to the review. I decided to give these a try so that I could get away from dryer sheets and liquid fabric softener. I've been using them for a month and I'm amazed with how well they work. I wasn't sure if I would need multiple sets when I was doing laundry in back-to-back loads but the same set of 6 are ready to go right back into the dryer. My clothes, sheets, towels and everything do seem to dry quite a bit more quickly than before, and there's no static cling or anything. I'm honestly impressed with this product. There's really no scent to the laundry now, so I did buy some oils to give a little scent to bed clothes and towels and that method seems to work great.

They work!
These came as I was doing laundry. They are bigger than I thought but that's ok. I used 3 to dry the clothes and yes - no wrinkles and no static!! In my effort to go green, I ditched the fabric softener & sheets a long time ago (saved me money, too). I gave the scent 4 stars although there is no scent. I don't want scent on my clothes but, if you do, a couple of drops of essential oils of your favorite scent should do the job. Not only no wrinkles, but the clothes were also soft. I can't address if they dried faster since I usually forget that I have things in the dryer but the no wrinkles worked for me.

These things are amazing! You'll want to order two packs if you do large loads often or will tend to lose these things like I do. It's been well over a year now, and just now I'm considering ordering two more packs. I LOVE these things! They've stood up to a family of 4 including 2 toddlers who like to steal them to play ball, and a 65 pound dog. Unlike dryer sheets, these are more energy efficient, reusable, dry your items more quickly, ensure large items like comforters get all the way dry, do not reduce flame resistance in your clothes, and do not contain a bunch of random chemicals. They are ethically harvested as well. They've saved me more money than I'll ever know, because I'm not going back to regularly using dryer sheets. Do I still use dryer sheets? Yeah, on occasion if I want something to smell better (I'm lazy, you can 100% add essential oil or fragrance oil to these) or can't gather up all the balls. How many packs of dryer sheets have I bought since purchasing these? Two. That's it. One was from Dollar Tree, at that. These things are awesome. They last a long time.

Love them
I love these. I have slowly been going green. These dryers balls really do cut down on the drying times and the clothes do come out softer. I have not used these for long so will update if I need to.

Surprising find, great value!
Okay, I was a little skeptical about these things. I heard from a friend how they had tried these small dryer ball things from the local store and the review was fantastic, so I came here to Amazon and hunted around for something similar and found these. My neighbor insisted that I add some essential oils and "toss them into the dryer" and so I did alongside a load of laundry and more or less expected nothing to happen. I was wrong. My clothing was MUCH softer, and the light fragrance from the essential oils + wool dryer balls was superb. Subsequent testing and actual timing showed faster drying times on my particular dryer model with these vs without these in the bin. I was skeptical, but these came through and provided actual results in a positive way. I went ahead and ordered a few more sets and some different oils to appeal to various members of the house. I can happily report that these were a solid hit and performed well. I have to admit it was a surprising, but pleasant discovery of these dryer balls, and a surprisingly good value!

Okay, but expected better
I read that this type of wool was best for holding essential oils but they will not hold the scent for more than one drying cycle (and yes I am using therapeutic grade oil and let it sit for hours before using). It also has not cut down on drying time at all. Even a small load of delicates still requires the same amount of time as before I used these. Even with all that, I still will not go back to dryer sheets. These are much healthier, cleaner, and hold up very well! The quality of these balls are very very good!

So far so good
Used these for the very first time with a selection of towels of varying ages. I usually use dryer sheets, and was reluctant not to throw one In " just in case" I was brave, and found the towels took 2/3 of the time to dry with the balls, were soft and fluffy the only thing missing is the perfume. I may buy some essential oils as suggested by some reviewers, I'll see what the family think.

Was dubious but I now believe!!!!!!
As the title suggests, I was trying to save a few pounds on drying my clothes, I'd tried a dehumidifier and clothes rack in a warm room, but although the hourly rate of use was lower than a tumble dryer, it took so long that the cost was almost identical. Then I spotted something on the internet about dryer balls, so I found a reasonable price set on Amazon, and thought " what the hell, if they work, great, if they don't, take up juggling". Well, my juggling is crap and practice will have to wait as the balls do indeed help with the drying process. I'd say it saves about 30-40% on the drying time. Really depends on what you have in the dryer. It works!
