It's better then nothing
It seems to be an okay product and probably will deter anyone that sees it from stealing your car because they didn't bring the right tools but I would still get an alarm also

Frigging steering wheel lock for Kia.
It appears useful but the proof is if my car doesn't get stolen. Kia should do way more than me having to use this contraption and pay for it as well!

Use with brake pedal lock
This steering wheel lock is very lightweight, easy to install, comes with multiple keys and storage bag. I have a lock for the brake pedal, but use this one too. It’s painted a bright yellow and is easy to see from the street. Hopefully my vehicle won’t be vandalized again.

Kept my car from being stolen. 3 cars stolen from our parking lot, but not mine!
It's easy to put on and take off, and it's visible and deters thieves. Our place had three cars stolen in one night recently, but they left our car alone, presumably because we had this visible device showing that they couldn't drive it off if they tried. Our neighbor lost his 37K truck and he was miserable. He was applauding my good sense to use this device. Do yourself a favor and make sure that car thieves don't take your car.

It's pretty solid and easy to use.
There are better device. but you'll pay plenty. This device is inexpensive and super easy to use. It's also small enough that it tucks out of the way easily. Pulling it up might defeat it, but after a few degrees it it the windshield. You might be able to crank it sideways until something gives, but you'll probably attract attention. The lock is pickable with the right tools, but a motivated thief could just tow your vehicle away and save themselves a lot of effort. "Just another COVID repo, concerned citizen".There's better, but this inexpensive unit is super simple to use, which means your family members are more likely to use it even if they're only going to be in the mall "a little while". And a crook might just decide that the vehicle next to yours is the easier target.

Leaves indents on my steering wheel if left on too long but they do go away at least on mine anyway

With this on the wheel, no one stole my wine coloured 2010 Hyundai accent with 205000 kms. I Mean this baby kept the hounds at bay.Gotta say it was a little weird though. When I bought my new car and transferred this over the ppl at the car dealership didn't know what it was...?!?!I told them it was an old school selfie stick.Ps. No one has stole.my new car yet either
