Not very quiet. The 12mm paddles are usually loud.

What are the paddle ratings?

Unknown but we love. Great beginning set and great price. Bought set for each home.

what is the thickness of these paddles 13mm or 16mm?

The JOOLA Essentials Paddle is 12mm thick and is a unique, strategic design combining multiple layers of fiberglass. The result is a pickleball racket with more power than many thicker paddles but still has enough control for all levels of play. This is a great paddle for experienced players looking to upgrade from a cheap pickleball paddle set and beginner pickleball players who need more control without spending too much.

The length is 4.75in and 4in grip circumference.
