Happy with purchase. Study, keeps water cold during the days of summer. Sleek look and design. Contemplating getting another but thought it would be on sale but it’s not. I am impressed non the less.

I got the 1L and it was suprisingly big, I guess being dual layered vacuum bottle its bigger than a normal 1L The green colour is nice and dark green (not quite British Racing Green, lighter than that) and the paint finish feel tough. The cap screws in but the thread is a very course thread (only 1 rotation from open to closed), so it makes it a bit rough as you screw in, however it seems to seal tight enough against the exterior o-ring seal, though I wonder then if that seal is exposed to damage becuase it doesnt go inside the bottle neck, but just againt the bottle necks lip. Slight design flaw IMO. The bottle had a slight smell inside from new, but a few hot rinses seemes to have mostly got rid of that, and its normal for such things, especially more budget ones. The price for such a large and well finsihed bottle seems reasonable, but I wouldnt pay more than the £15 (jan 24). The metal cap/lid is topped with a beech type wood, which is a nice touch, and the lif has a strong wire loop to hang it off things and also helps to turn the slightly rouch cap. It claims to keep things hot for 8 hours - and it easily does. I put boiling water in and 3 hrs later it was still steaming hot. 6 hours later it was still so hot it was hard to drink, and overnight, 15 hrs, it was still hot, almost too hot to pout on your hand. Really impressed, and surprised. I assume the cold performance is as good. The neck is fairly large so big enough to get a bottle brush in easily to clean it. Comes in a plastic bag to protect the finish (that can be recycled) and inside a nice box, though qouting Harvard on how water is good for you on the side of the box it totally naff.
