THESE ARE NOT NOTHING! They are amazing!
I have to say did have a one in a million customer service experience that was beyond amazing. There was an issue that was resolved and I could not be happier. The quality of sound is amazing, from the clear crisp sound to the deep enhancement bass that brings so much edge to the choice of music you so wish to listen to. What is amazing is the fact you can adjust the quality and feel through the very simple to understand and use App. You will want to download the “Nothing X” app available in the Apple and android store for free. This allows you to maximize productivity within the music realm. I noticed it has amazing battery life outside the case to allow me to use them all day without interruption and that’s a must. Music is the spice of life and to make music sufficient the “Nothing X” is the best music listening earbuds on the market for the very competitive market. I am known to lose things often so being able to go into the app and use the chirp feature it allows me to listen and find where I may have misplaced them. A very great feature! It also comes with different type of earbud inserts if you have smaller or larger ears. They feel great in the ear to maximize sound quality, and keep out the exterior noises. Now these headphones are great for sports activities outside and you don’t always want to have full isolation, so there is a feature that allows strong fluid music flow while still being able to hear around you, keep yourself observing your surroundings in any situation always but it’s great to know you have that option. You can use them to call/ answer with your mobile device such as Android or Apple. There is a little difficulty when it comes to pairing to your devices because you have to make sure the earbuds are in the case and pressing the circle button holding it till it blinks white, pull them out and go to your iPhone Bluetooth settings and find the Nothing X and pair. There is great online help for you if needed and reach out to customer service who will be amazing to hear from! I recommend these to everyone that wants quality for a decent price. Sound is perfect the look is futuristic, and quality is beyond expectations.

Great Bluetooth Earphones, My Favorites So far!
Great Bluetooth earphones! If you are looking for comfortable fit, great sound quality, and good mic for calls this is the pair for you. I have had my eyes on these earphones for a while and bought them when they were one sale. Totally worth it! The quality of these are great. They sound great right out of the box, hardly had to mess with any of the EQ settings in the app. So it was surprising just how well everything sounded once I started using them. More Thoughts: I'm not a professional audio reviewer or hardcore audiophile, so this is just coming from an high quality audio enjoyer. I will also have some comparisons to the Jabra Elite 7 Pros that I've used. Sound Quality: I really love the sound of the Nothing Earphones, music sounds bass-y and punchy, if you listen to rock or music with a deeper or more intense sound, these handle that great. I listen to a lot of different genres and all of them sound really clear and balanced without touching the EQ settings. I haven't messed with them a lot myself but you have a couple presets and the ability to set your own. Personally I haven't felt the need to since the sound is so high quality and clear to start with. If you like to listen to your music loud they handle them easily without making your ears or head hurt. Definitely my favorite sounding pair of earphones I have experienced. Mic quality: I used a pair of Jabra Elite 7 Pros for over 2 years as my daily earphones for music and videos that were priced at $140 USD when I first purchased them that were great but after two years they needed an upgrade. A complaint I always had with the Jabras was the mic quality for calls, my voice was always too low or muffled, but with the Nothing earphones my voice is so much clearer and I have even had people comment how loud I sound using them! So they are great for calls. On the receiving end voice you are are really clear with hardly any background noise coming through. ANC (Active Noise Canceling): The ANC on the Nothing Earphones are fantastic. In the app there are a few different options: low, medium, high, and adaptive. The default is high, and it makes it feel like you are in your own world. Once you are playing music or a video almost all the outside noise disappears. I work in an office at a marine so sometimes voices or heavy machinery comes through but at such a low volume you hardly register it. Though I might have to give the edge to my Jabras with just how much more consistent the ANC is on them especially when you have a good fit. Great ANC but not best out there. Transparency: The transparency mode is not as good as the Jabra, I find that any music you may be playing can drown out any noise or voices you want to come through. It, in my opinion, doesn't let enough sounds through when you are at medium volume or louder especially if you find yourself talking a lot with them in. So if what you are playing isn't too loud its fine. Controls/Buttons: The buttons on the stems of the earphones function off of pinches, it is not your typical press or touch buttons. It takes a bit to get used to especially if you are used to a tactile press button like on Jabra products. But the accuracy of the pinches/controls is great. I haven't had it do something I didn't intended. Also the range of custom options for the buttons is great with you being able to change them to whatever scheme you want. The only thing you can't change is the Play/pause button. But I was happy to be able to change the buttons functions to what I needed them to be, which a bit more than I could say for the Jabras. Fit: The ear tips that the Nothing earphones come with are very comfortable and fit really nicely. I typically use the smallest tips that an earphone comes with, anything bigger usually falls out or pushes itself out of my ear, but the medium size that comes on them fit surprisingly great for me. I did switch to the smaller ones for comfort but I can't complain about the larger size. You get three sizes with these earphones: small, medium, and large. The material feels really nice in the ear as well. And the overall shape of the earphones feels great in the ear, just sits comfortable inside, sometimes I can forget they are even there, and the stems are no bother. Battery/Charging: The case and the earphones charge really fast and the indicator light on the case is nice way to tell the charge level. They come with a very short usb-c to usb-c cable that charges the case so quickly, especially with the right adapter. Charge much faster than the Jabra case and earphones. The battery life on the Nothing earphones is pretty great for 8 hour work days. And the case charge lasts me an entire week or more. If you are using the ANC or Transparency modes it does tank the life quite a bit, as with most earphones. The most I have had them last while using ANC on High nonstop is about 5 hours, which to me is pretty good. And once you put them in the case to charge you can definitely get an entire day out of them using ANC. Without ANC you can go through most of a day, maybe 10-12 hours or more of use. My jabras perform quite identically but the charge on them doesn't last as long after in the case for 10 minutes. Conclusion: There are probably things I've missed or things other people notice, but to the average person these earphones come at a great price and provide you with insanely great quality across the board. The mic alone makes this a worth while purchase. But the sound is smooth, crispy, and clear when you need it to be. My favorite set of earphones I've bought myself so far. They are definitely my go to daily drivers.

Nothing Ear (a) Review: Balanced Sound, Excellent Comfort, and Natural Transparency
The Nothing Ear (a) are excellent upper mid-range earbuds. I purchased the black version, which looks very sleek and minimalist. They offer a very well-balanced sound, and they are also very comfortable and lightweight, which makes them great for long listening sessions. Another strong point is the companion app, which is simple, intuitive, and easy to use. The connectivity with iPhone was also very easy thanks to the app, and the setup process was quick and straightforward. Although their Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is not as strong as some other options on the market, such as the Skullcandy Indy ANC, Galaxy Buds FE, or CMF Buds 2 Pro, this is not really an issue for me. My ears are quite sensitive, so I actually appreciate that the ANC isn’t overly aggressive. Their comfort, combined with how natural the transparency mode sounds, sometimes even makes me forget that I’m wearing them. In fact, the transparency mode is one of the best I’ve tried, even when compared to the AirPods Pro. It sounds very natural and lets you stay aware of your surroundings without the audio feeling artificial. Another thing I like is the fit. The earbuds stay secure in my ears, and they don’t fall out even when I’m running. As for the bass, it is solid and present. It doesn’t stand out like some high-end earbuds, but for a mid-range product it performs very well. Overall, the Nothing Ear (a) deliver a very complete experience. Rating: 8.7/10

Nothing but the best.
After using the Nothing Ear (a) earbuds for the past two years, I can confidently say they’ve earned a permanent spot in my Tech Item HOF. From the first listen to now, they’ve consistently delivered an experience that punches well above their price point. I use these every single day at work and when I got on my runs for a total of 10 hours a day. The sound quality is where these really shine. The audio is crisp, balanced, and surprisingly rich, with just the right amount of bass to feel immersive without overwhelming vocals or mids. Whether I’m listening to podcasts, music, or taking calls, everything comes through clean and clear. Comfort is another big win. I’ve worn these for long stretches—workdays, travel, workouts—and they’ve never felt fatiguing or uncomfortable. The lightweight design makes it easy to forget they’re even in your ears. Battery life has also held up impressively over time. Even after two years of consistent use, I’m still getting reliable performance throughout the day, and the case provides plenty of extra charges. Fast charging has been a lifesaver more times than I can count. The design is simple but distinctive, which I’ve come to really appreciate. It feels modern without trying too hard, and the build quality has proven durable through everyday wear and tear. Connectivity has been smooth and dependable. Pairing is quick, and I rarely experience dropouts or interruptions, whether I’m at home, at work, or on the move. Overall, the Nothing Ear (a) earbuds have exceeded my expectations in every category—sound, comfort, battery, and reliability. Two years in, they’re still going strong, which says a lot. For the value, performance, and longevity, this is an easy 5 out of 5 stars. ★★★★★

Absolutely worth $79
I am very picky with my audio devices, but here's the review. 5/5 for price to quality, feels premium(enough) definitely more than the price of $79usd. Sound quality is good! Very tune-able with a on board equalizer that can be found in the Nothing App. The Nothing App is perfect, would not change a thing about it. quickly access any settings with the buds you want. Noise cancellation is ok, but good enough for the price. I just feel like its not as "cancelling" as I would want a headphone, but they get the job done. Pass-through is also ok, I would like it to be a bit more clear. But as stated, for $79 they work, and well. Wish they had wireless charging but its not the end of the world. Wore them on a plane ride that was 4 hours, battery was not a problem for me, even with noise cancelling (maybe I had to take them out for like 5-10 minutes at most to charge them up) but that's fine with me. I will say after about 3 hours, they did start feeling just a little uncomfortable. However, that happened to me even when I had Airpods and wore them for the same duration. Naturally I think there are things that can be fixed with these. But for the price, I'm not mad. And would buy them again if I needed to.

Not bad, but wouldn’t buy them again
They’re okay. The sound is pretty decent for the price point with these. They are comfortable and they were pretty well, but it’s hard when the competition is AirPods. These just aren’t as good at switching between devices as AirPods. They can connect to two devices, but any more than two and it gets troublesome to move the connection from one device to another. That’s a drawback for me since the sound quality didn’t wow me, I would need the ease of use to be really great in order to buy these again. But I have to buy a case to put around the case so that I can attach an AirTag to them so that I can find them when I’m not sure where they are. That’s no a big problem except for that it increases the price by $40. Now I paid it’s pretty close to what I would’ve paid for pro AirPods. And then the third drawback is that I have to go into the app in order to change the settings. I can’t just change the settings from the control center on my phone. It’s not a huge issue except for that. I don’t think there’s an app for Mac so if I’m sitting at my computer and I want to change the settings, I have to connect them to my phone first, then open the app and then change the setting and then connect it back to my Mac again. Not ideal. The last thing that is a drawback is that I can’t put them on MagSafe charger to charge. Definitely wouldn’t buy these again, even though they’re not bad. I’ve had no functional problems with them and I’ve been using them almost all year now. The battery life is good.

Great quality
I’m not one to leave reviews unless divinely inspired. I’ve owned these lil guys just over 6 months. They pack a punch, so they go with me everywhere. Stuffed into a pocket or tossed in a backpack or clipped on a belt loop. Dampening the chaos of a Sunday morning grocery run, soundtracking the early morning dog walk, gliding me along a leisurely bike ride, letting me drop in and tune out the world at the bouldering gym. And lulling me with a little max richter at bedtime. So imagine my horror. hearing the dreaded *tap-tap-thump* of something (that most definitely shouldn’t be) in my washer. Glimpsing a bright yellow bud swirl amongst a sudsy sea of laundry. Gasps of horror. I didn’t even try to search for the 2nd bud. Chalked it up to another lesson learned the hard way. A total loss, or so I thought? Bc folding my laundry this afternoon, I find the missing bud. Pop it into my ear (just in case a miracle happens) and Lo and behold. Perfectly crisp sound. Unobstructed from its sudsy journey. In very very good health. I’m so glad I bought these.

Controls don’t work. Tried replacement, returning it. Look elsewhere
Defective and unusable. I have tried two units of this product. That is, I ordered one and it was defective so I requested a replacement. I have had the replacement a little over two weeks and just made my return request. The issues: Primary issues with this product is the controls. 1st unit— The right control (squeeze) literally didn’t work, at all. So that removed about 50% of the utility. No ability to change volume, skip tracks, answer calls, adjust noise cancellation/transparency, etc. Idk about you all, but I do not want to be bound to my phone/device when using this. Not interested in controlling only left bud. 2nd unit— Second unit was somehow even worse. The same issue as above, with the right controls almost never working and if they ever did, the lag was absurdly long. Comically so. The left bud of this unit had a similar issue. When it did decide to work, it lagged so long I could have produced the track I was listening to, found an agent, and booked a show by the time it responded. At the least, I would have the time to go find my phone and change the track/volume there. Additionally, with the second unit, there was this occasional high pitched buzzing noise. I couldn’t pin point exactly when/why it would occur. Regardless, it was awful and distracting. FURTHER, I regularly turned into a robot on calls with this unit. IYKYK. The strange robot voice took over my voice and the person I was speaking with would come in on my end with a robot/android voice. Outrageous! I gave it some time to see if it’d start working, I guess? Surprise! It never did. So I’m done. With issues like these, I almost NEVER request a replacement. But I liked the style of these and the sound quality was decent for the price point so I wanted to give it a shot. Bad call on my end. Spare yourself the headache, lost time making (multiple) returns, and avoid these like the plague. One unit being defective, ok, maybe a per unit issue. Two units? This is a defective product and they have a problem they need to work out. Not sure how there aren’t more reviews mentioning this or similar, but I wanted to make sure I took the time to warn others. The pros of these (decent sound for price, cool look) do not even warrant 2/5 stars. The cons are so severe and serious that I’d perhaps give 0 if I could. Also range for BT was pretty subpar. My $19 JLAB buds (way better than these but ugly) had 2x, maybe even 3x the range. I could do yard work all the way on my yards edge w/o phone and those would be connected. These? I walked out of my office to the hall and they dropped off. Booty Adding the word “ versatility” to appease the algorithm. Stay away and save your time and money. Monster L
