My husband works in the sun every day and purchased this for some relief on his face and neck. Keeps him cool and prevents his neck from turning to burnt toast. Lightweight and breathable. Washes and air-dries well but after a number of a washes a few threads started unraveling a bit. Not the highest quality but definitely worth the price for daily wear.

This is a very comfortable hat. It has an adjustable elastic band arrangement for fitting the hat on the head. I have a large head and it fits comfortably. It is wide brimmed and provides good sun protection and the drop down flap that covers the neck is a nice addition. The ability to fold it up for packing is also a plus.

I got this hat specifically for the wide brim and back flap to protect against scorching Utah sun while we hiked through the National Parks. I love the pretty light blue color and the hat was perfect. The extra protection for my neck was just what I needed as we explored in the heat of early summer. It's easily packable and washes well too without losing it's shape. At home, it's my go-to gardening hat now. The wide brim keeps more sun off of my face than my older gardening hat. It's nice to have the neck strap to tighten in case of high winds, but I usually don't use that. It *did* get used a few times while hiking though and kept it from flying into a canyon.

Just got this hat today to cut grass during this hot weather in south carolina. Works great! No sunburn on head face or neck.
