Excellent, well built, but assembly could be a bit easier
This seems a very strong and well-built 7' picnic table, made of high quality wood. It is treated, not sealed, so only time will tell how well it lasts outside, but my impression is that it will weather very well. It came in three main pieces (two leg structures for each end, and the table top), with a couple of braces to add strength by creating a triangle between each leg end and the table. The instruction leaflet shows a Transit van standing on four tables (one under each wheel). I can believe it would support that weight because the screws are massive and the wood tough. That leads me into the first of two small niggles. The wood is so strong that I had difficulty screwing the pieces together. The pilot holes only provided a start - they didn't go all the way through. My (good) electric screwdriver gave up as soon as it got to the bottom of the pilot holes, and I found it tough to push them through further, even with a wratchet screwdriver that gave me leverage. I therefore finished drilling the pilot holes in the A frame legs. Then, when I tried to go further, to join the legs to the strut under the table, there were no pilot holes in the strut and the wood was so hard the screws just pushed the strut away. So, I drilled some more pilot holes in that strut. MC Timbers should look at drilling more comprehensive pilot holes; it would make assembly much easier. The other niggle was the shambolic delivery company (DX Freight) whose many problems would require a much longer essay to describe. However, I understand MC Timbers have now decided to change to a different carrier. Also, MC Timbers were themselves very helpful and communicative in trying to sort out all the problems with DX, and would have refunded or replaced if all three pieces had not eventually turned up.Despite those two niggles, I highly recommend this table. It is a solid (pun intended) investment that I'm sure the family will enjoy using for many years to come.

Sturdy and large table but delivery was no picnic
This is a solid, large table - the price has gone up £40 since I ordered but compared to similarly-sized ones on Amazon it’s still reasonable value.Assembly is straightforward - the pieces are heavy but pre-assembled as units so you simply have to attach the legs to the base (the cut is precise and they line up well) and then the braces, then flip the table over and attach the seats.Speaking of flipping tables - you may be in for a very frustrating wait with this firm. They're clearly stacked and not used to Amazon expectations. Allow three weeks and some chasing calls, not 48 hours as implied!Fit and finish is overall good but the screws are large and require a lot of torque to fit. Not all the parts are cut with respect to knots or splits near attachment points so even being careful you may get some separation. The guide holes aren’t what I’d call precise but they work.Once assembled the table is sturdy, stable and looks great. For the size and apparent quality of the wood this is a much better bet than cheapo “out of a shed” ones from classified ads. Glad it arrived in the end and very happy with it - but not so pleased with the experience of buying it.

Bit disappointed: simple to assemble, it arrived with several parts split and damaged.
Nice and sturdy, but arrived with damaged seat end and split seat braces. The seat may have been damaged in transit but there was no packaging damage but the seat braces are clearly manufacturers defects; they are crudely nailed not screwd so splitting is almost inevitable. At 3x the price of the one I bought from Argos this week, its a shame. If it arrived in perfect condition it would be 4* or 5*. Come on guys; sort it out!

Looks great and simple, clear instructions.
So first off I'd like to say that the table itself looks great! It is exactly as shown, well made and comes with simple, clear instructions. My only complaint is the delivery, I was under the impression that I'd be contacted within 2 days of the initial order to arrange a day, with a estimated delivery date between 15/06 and 20/06. Instead the turned up on the 14/06 which fortunately someone was in to accept. It wasn't the end of the world and doesn't take away from a well made product.

Super Table .. lovely quality
This is a lovely sturdy good quality table .. requires an electric screwdriver to assemble but relatively quick and easy .. only issue was it took so long to be delivered but worth the wait .

I was expecting better quality
The table was easy to assemble, and I was able to complete the process on my own.I am however slightly concerned about the longevity as both support beams on the underside of the table split during the assembly process
