Solid choice for a socket fan/light
I've purchased many socket fan/lights to solve for my tiny, windowless office space (a converted walk-in closet). I've been using the Bell & Howell "Original Socket Fan" for about 6 months and overall loved it, BUT it had an underlying sound that is more than just the fan blades. It's almost an electronic hum that's a bit high-pitched and really annoyed me, so I started looking for another option.I received this item - LBNWY - Socket Fan Light Ceiling Fans with Lights and Remote, Dimmable LED Ceiling Fan with Lights, 3 Colors 3000K-6500K, 1000 Lumens Light Bulb Screw in Ceiling Fan for Bedroom, Kitchen, Living Room, ClosetPros:Good airflow for a 15" fan - doesn't blows papers off my desk when on high (I have 9 foot ceilings), but does ruffle the wall calendar and does create excellent airflow in the spaceNoise level is really impressive for a 15" fan. Compared to others I've tried it's VERY quiet. You still hear the fan noise but there's no electronic humming sound or excessive fan noise.Decent light options (warm white "3000K", natural white "4500K", or cool white "6000K")Remote is responsive and beeps when changing fan speed or when using the "all off" optionComes with one extender to drop down from ceiling or to install in a recessed socket.5 fan bladesQuick assembly and installation - fan blades snap in and the whole unit just screws into a standard light bulb socketRemote was relatively intuitive, but do read the instructions.Cons:Remote doesn't save last used setting unless your socket is on a switch. I don't have a switch for my light socket (it's an old pull chain style) so each time I turn it on I have to reset the light and fan. Not a deal breaker.Light on high is not as bright as others. The cool white setting ("6000K") is very harsh on the eyes.In summary - This is a great, more budget-friendly option than the B&H version, and doesn't have the annoying electronic hum. The light options aren't perfect, but if you aren't using is as the sole light source (I have desk/task lighting), it's a great option. Glad I found it for my itty bitty windowless office.

Surprisingly strong airflow from such a small fan!
The fan was easy to assemble and fairly easy to install. (Installation requires a tall ladder if you have tall, 12-14 foot ceilings like mine). At first, I was feeling almost no breeze, even after using the one included socket extension; the fan was just too close to the ceiling to pick up any air. So I ordered two more extensions for the two fans I had purchased. Afterwards, with TWO extensions installed, the fans worked great and provided a surprising amount of air--although don't expect to be able to feel it all the way across the room. Directly underneath the fan, and for about 4-6 feet on either side, is where you'll feel the breeze. Otherwise, the fans are just too small to cool any area larger than that. Also, with two extensions, expect a little "wobble" in the fan. To fix that, I used the square styrofoam packing insert from the box. It already had the appropriate-size hole in it, so I just trimmed off the corners of the square piece of styrofoam, causing it to become round, where it slid easily up into the can light fixture and stopped the wobble. (Be careful not to cut too much off the styrofoam. You want the fit to be tight so there is no movement of the fan. Because these small fans produce very little heat, there is no danger of fire, so feel confident you can stop your fan from "jiggling" this way.) All-in-all, I'd say this was a great purchase and a fairly cheap way to get a little extra breeze into a small area without having to wire for a fullsize ceiling fan.

Quiet Air Movement
My family room is large with a vaulted ceiling and can lights. I replaced the central row of 4 lights with these fan lights. They look nice and are unobtrusive. I could have done it myself as the item is lightweight and screws into existing socket. But this 80 year old grammy has a helpful teenage grandson to go up on the ladder X4. He handed down the old light to me and I passed the new fixture to him. (Pre-insert the fan blades before installing. It takes a bit of force, but they will solidly click into place.) If I use the light I select the warmest color setting, otherwise it looks like a well-lit gas station. I thought one remote would control all the fixtures, but they are independent. Each remote now has a number written with a Sharpie pen. The entire family enjoys the ambiance and cooling provided by these fixtures.

A lifesaver in a heatwave
The media could not be loaded. This fan was a lifesaver when our AC broke in a heatwave. I bought several of them for the kitchen (3) and one for the upstairs hallway. I got them on sale (40-50% off) which made them a great value. The versatility of the separate light and fan functions is super helpful when we just want to cool a space but don’t need light. That being said where’s what I liked and didn’t like:The Fan -It’s small but mighty. It worked best when we had at least two strategically placed for maximum air flow. The range (perhaps a foot or two to actually feel the breeze) is decent but not huge.It didn’t seem too heavy for the light socket but also didn’t seem like it was going to break. Though if we bumped the fan to a level 3 it did wobble a little. While it’s not going to cool a huge open room it will make it a lot more comfortable. The Light -The different light settings and ability to dim is great. I prefer a softer white so we probably won’t use the bright white often but it’s nice to have the option. In general -I like the remote feature but if you have multiple fans you will have a separate remote for each. A smart function would have been great. They make them but they obviously cost more. There are only two downsides so far for me. First is that the light bulb isn’t replaceable so if it’s ever gets damaged or burns out you don’t have that feature. Second is the beeping. It’s a fairly loud beep that happens every time you turn on the light or fan. It’s not a deal breaker just annoying.
