Something is just not right with this soap
I have been using Dove Sensitive Skin soap for years. This is the first time I ordered it from amazon and it doesn’t seem like the same soap as sold in stores. It smells different. It lathers different. And my skin is breaking out. I just bought another bar at a store to compare. They are even different sizes and smell noticeably different. The Amazon price is fantastic but I need to go back to buying Dove at the store.

Sensitive Skin bar is wonderful and versatile!
I have NEVER been a soap bar person. I avoided it at all costs because of that drying, "sticky", too-clean feeling it leaves behind, as well as my association that all bar soaps have intense, nose-offending fragrances (I'm thinking of Irish Springs). Bath and Body Works shower gel has been my thing for over a decade, and I'm all about wearing fragrances.So why did I buy fragrance-free bar soap?The answer may be TMI: I get chronic yeast infections that cause serious skin irritation around my lady bits. If you didn't want to read that, real talk: they happen, they're common, and men can get them too. Anyway, I never used body wash in that area because I had heard it could wreak havoc on the sensitive skin and microflora balance (which it can!), but then my doctor recommended fragrance-free white bar soap (and ONLY fragrance-free white bar soap) as a safe way to clean the area of irritants. Dove was the first thing that popped into my head as "good" bar soap, so I bought the fragrance-free two-pack.Not only does the soap work wonders for that issue...it doesn't leave behind that bar-soap feeling! The moisturizing element really works, and the lather is rather luxurious. It does have a faint sort of nutty natural soap smell, but that's to be expected, and I actually quite like it. Then I discovered that it's great for washing my sensitive face without over-drying, so I use it on non-makeup days in order to preserve my more expensive face wash. Then I discovered that this soap does a pretty solid job at removing makeup itself! THEN I discovered that it cleans makeup brushes like a dream and leaves them super soft afterwards! Then I discovered that with the moisturizing element and the slippery suds it makes, it's effective as a shaving soap/"cream". Then I realized the fragrance-free aspect is great if I'm planning to wear a perfume that isn't a part of my Bath and Body Works collection and I don't want a clashing body wash fragrance. I thought the two-pack was going to last me forever but the first bar I opened up two weeks ago is about a third gone already.This soap slipped into my life and took over...Can't see myself going without it now.

Oily and caused breakouts
Caused my face to break out all over, especially on my forehead. After I stopped using it, it took me another month to get rid of all the zits. Don't use if you have combination or oily skin. I think it would work only if you have truly dry skin, because it really is quite oily as far as soaps go.

Saying orange is a bit misleading.
I love dove soap and am currently addicted to anything orange scented so I was ecstatic when I saw these here. However if I’d smelled these in store I’d have passed them by. They’re not bad or gross, and have the same moisturizing quality as all dove soaps. But they sincerely do not smell at all like oranges. Or anything citrusy. They have a very perfumey smell, not really anything fresh. I’ll use them but it’s a little disappointing.

false advertising-Dove 4oz soap
I received a plastic bag of 20 individually wrapped soap bars. Although the plastic bag stated 20 4 oz bars, the soap bars were smaller than 4oz. The bars of Dove soap received in this order were made in Germany and had no marking on the individual box indicating weight. Both the packaging and actual bars of soap are smaller than the 4oz soap bars advertised. I have side by side photos showing the difference by sight and weight.

Good product, very surprised it isn't sold in many retailer's.
Has Dove bar soaps go, this one was excellent . It has a very pleasant scent, that sets it apart from the dove beauty bar . However, there is a slight hint of the dove scent in there . It lathers well, and you will come out feeling clean, and the argan, and Moroccan oil scent will longer on you for a while . I will most definitely be purchasing this product again, and guys out there, use it too . It is great .

Over priced...don't waste your money

Great smell but pricey.
I can only use dove soap per my doctor. I never heard of this scent so I was excited to try it. I get the same great soft lather as with the pink dove and the white. My only complaint is that this is very pricey for two bars of soap. If I could have gotten out to the store I would not have purchased this. I have a torn achilles.

Smells funky
I got mine and when I opened it, I smelt like vomit. I still went ahead and used it on my hands to see if its just the coating layer however it is the soap.
