the best water flotation belt
This is, without a doubt, the best water flotation belt. I have both the aqua jogger and the water gear aqua jogger belt and both were uncomfortable and rode up my back as my workout progressed so I had to stop multiple times to adjust. The belt on the water gym device has a slight stretch to it so it fits, breaths with you and stays in place for my 50 minute routine. There is no extraneous material to get in the way of your movements. I'm so glad I finally found a comfortable belt - makes a tremendous difference in my workout.

I LOVE IT !!
I'm a water fitness teacher, as well as a yoga teacher, and this is MY favorite flotation belt. It's squishy enough that it really conforms to my shape, and it doesn't ride up on me. A reminder, though, if you're shopping for a belt-- try various ones out, if possible, before you purchase. I know they're hard to find in stores, but if you go to a class, see if you can test-drive a few different types of belts & flotation devices. Each person has a different body shape, and a different level of natural buoyancy. My WaterGym belt is perfect for ME-- I'm slender, very strong and flexible, a lifeguard and an excellent swimmer (I'll be 65 on my next birthday). A woman attending my class purchased one before I did-- she raved about her WaterGym belt, and I tried it out, and immediately ordered one from Amazon. I'm IN LOVE. If you are needing significant flotation assistance, you may want to try a belt that offers more foam-- more buoyancy. If you are uncomfortable with anything around your waist, I recommend you try therapy foam cuffs around your upper arms. The key is experimentation. Water exercise is perhaps the most effective and versatile exercise on the planet, and suitable for everyone from athletes to those just fresh out of therapy. And.... if you sweat, you don't have to know about it! Don't give up-- find what works for you, and give yourself LOVE by exercising in the water. You just might see me there enjoying the heck out of my WaterGym belt!

it feels like the balance is off
It arrived promptly. I have mild arthritis in my knees. I use this floatation belt 2-3x a week to walk in the water. It has strengthened my thighs to help support my knees. I can walk in the deep, back float and swim on my back. I can not swim on my tummy, it feels like the balance is off.. I get a good work out in 30 minutes walking back and forth and without injuring my knees. Actually swimming and kicking hurts my knees. Love it!

I couldn't make it work for me
I am looking for something to wear while exercising in the pool and this didn't quite work for me. I kept listing and had a hard time staying upright. Maybe there is something wrong with the way I had it on, but it didn't suit me and I returned it.

Great for Water Aerobics!
Works really well for water workouts according to the person I gave it to.

Exactly what I wanted -- except should come with booklet of exercises
The belt is comfortable, and provides the resistance I expected. However, Iโve never used a belt like this before, so my only suggestion is to include a pamphlet of exercises to show you different ways to use it.

Perfect for deep water aqua classes
Updated: I have been using this belt for one year now and it is still in perfect condition. My weight has significantly changed thru Weight Watchers, and at 140lbs, I can still use this belt. I am able to tighten the belt, but now it almost fits end touching end. However, I have noticed that most of the other people taking the water class are higher in the water than I am. My neck and head are the only things above the water if I don't use my hands to keep myself higher up. I use my hands, with aqua gloves, to dispel the water and raise my body up by moving my hands back and forth. That is a little bit annoying for me, but I am not sure that it's the belts problem and not something that I am doing different than everyone else. It does make me concentrate more on my core as I tried to stay up straight and more out of the water. This is the same belt they offer at my gym. So, it is the same one that all the other people are wearing as well. Previous review: Excellent band. I bought a small and am 5'3 170lbs. This is the exact ones my pool offers us to use but I wanted my own so could keep the band set where I need it to fit well. This is so well made and feels like it will last forever.

Durable, well made product
I am new to deep water exercises and walking and I am very happy with this so far. It has to be buckled very tightly, but then once in the water, it really stays in place. I am a small woman (5'2") so I think I could have used one that is a little narrower, but this fits the bill in every other way. It is out of the way of my arms when I'm moving in the water. and does a great job of keeping me afloat so that I can exercise. I haven't used it long enough to comment on durability, but it seems to be high quality foam and has a very large, strong buckle.
