I have a 1 acre lot and a huge front and huge back porch. I had a hook at the far end of the porch right next to an exterior electric plug, so I hung this right there and plugged it in. Wow! Immediate beautiful blue colored light shone into thee side yard and a mesmerizing white circular light shone down onto the porch concrete. It looks soooo dramatic especially in the deadb of night. My porch is bug headquarters. This thing makes short work of small bugs, particularly mosquitoes. Some of them end up on the.blue light grate, with most dropping below the unit itself onto the ground and bushes and the other half of the little dead bugs land below on the concrete porch, where a toad convention awaits. The reality of a toad convention NEVER occurred to me. But they’re at the other end of the porch, not bothering me at all, and they’re only there for a few hours in the middle of the night before they go home. UPDATE: I BUT THIS AT THE BEGINNING OF JULY 2025. I HUNG IT ON A HOOK AT THE CORNER OF MY FRONT PORCH, I PLUGGED IT INTO THE EXTERIOR ELECTRICAL SOCKET 5 FEET BELOW THE BOTTOM OF THE BUG ZAPPER. IT HAS BEEN THERE EVER SINCE, YAPPING BUGS 24 HOURS A DAY, EVERY DAY AND EVERY NIGHT OF THE YEAR. I CARRY A SMALL GARBAGE BAG OUT REACH OUT AND TURN A LITTLE ACCESS COVER, BEING CAREFUL TOO. I HAVE THE GARBAGE BAG IMMEDIATELY UNDER IT SO THAT I DON’T END UP HAVING TO SWEEP UP A ZILLION BUGS OFF MY PORCH. THE ACCESS CAP IS VERY EASY TO REMOVE, SO YOU HAVE TO BE READY. IT IS NOW APRIL 2026 AND I HAVE NEVER SHUT IT OFF OR UNPLUGGED IT. IT DOESN’T USE THE POWER VERY MUCH SO I HAVEN’T REALLY NOTICED MUCH DIFFERENCE IN THE POWER BILL. THIS THING RANKED AMONG THE BEST PURCHASES I HAVE EVER MADE. I LOVE HOW IT LIGHTS UP MY PORCH 24 HOURS A DAY SUCH A RELIABLE DEVICE. IT’S A MISTAKE TO NOT BUY ONE.

Love love love this bug light and the included Remote!! Plus it has a light at the bottom which is cool. So far it has done its job. Oh the sweet stuff zapping bugs! Lol. We kept it right by our door and it kills the bugs instantly when they try to sneak in. Very happy l with this purchase.

Works well and well worth the money. Catches alot of bugs and also good way to catch bugs for our chicken to eat as a snack. Led supper bright and only down fall with led is it attracts every bug around. But well worth it and comes with a remote that I can use from inside my house

I have enjoyed very much!!! Does a great job of doing what it’s supposed to do like killing bugs!!! When it comes to cleaning it-had a lot of little Nats and a crud ton of mayflies in the trap when I emptied it so cleaning it was easy. I just use the little duster to get the stuff. I could not knock out of this app part. I also like the function of the LED light that is on the bottom they are very bright and light up a large area. It is also extremely lightweight. So far I would say I am very satisfied with this bug zapper.

This one is a real jem. Live on horse farm in an RV. Flys and other bugs are a real problem! Overwhelmed is an understatement. Got this and it went crazy for several days,!!! Had to clean almost every day and now not so bad. Set up quickly, looks great and wife loves it!!

This zapper is an excellent value. Not only does it perform perfectly, but the included remote control and dimmable lights make it versatile enough for discreet indoor use. Highly recommended.

Against my better judgement after reading so many reviews about how the remote doesn’t work, I went ahead and spent the extra to get the remote option. Turns out they were all correct. The remote does not work at all tried a fresh energizer battery as well to no avail. The unit however does do its job zapping flying insects like it is supposed to. I won’t be totally mean and give it one star like the others because if does actually do its main job, but you really need to fix that remote issue

Great bug zapper. Works incredibly well. Using it in our garage. The longer cord is long enough to reach opener outlet. The remote is perfect for turning it off when not needed. We don’t use the lighted bottom since the garage has enough lighting as is. Kills mosquitoes all the way up to wasps.

Trabaja muy bien a la luz del dia. eliminar moscas que se meten a la casa a sido muy eficiente. Vale la pena y su precio no es para nada elevado, es muy justo. El control remoto que viene incluido no hace ninguna funcion, no veo que tenga un receptor IR en ninguna parte.
