Better than a traditional UPS!
Shown in the photo is a DJI PowerStation working as a UPS to provide protected power to Wi-Fi and PC equipment. I'm using the new DJI product to replace an EcoFlow Delta 2 unit of comparable size (~1024WH), as the DJI product is silent versus the EcoFlow which periodically makes noise when charging. The DJI PowerStation competes against EcoFlow, Jackery, etc. DJI is well-known for drones, cameras and microphones all of which use purpose-built batteries designed to provide the most runtime possible in a cost-effective, small form-factor. This new PowerStation is equally as impressive as the DJI drones! Fit and finish is polished. Specs are better than competitors in the same price range. Outstanding! The new lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery technology is perfect for portable power when at off-grid locations, works in tandem with solar, wind, generator or other time-based power sources, and is a better mouse trap for uninterruptable power supplies (UPS)! Primary difference between 'common' Lithium Polymer (LiPo aka Lithium-Ion) batteries (used in phones, laptops, etc.) and Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries (used in this DJI Power Station) is the number of cycles or charge-discharge occurrences supported. The lower cost and more common LiPo batteries are typically good for 300 ~ 500 cycles, while the LiFePO4 batteries are good for >3000+ cycles. If you cycle the battery once per day, LiPo batteries are good for a year or two, whereas the LiFePO4 batteries are good for ~10 years!!! Note -- LiPo batteries in phones laptops and power-banks are infamous for swelling and getting hot - even catching fire or exploding - while the LiFePO4 batteries are considered much safer (albeit heavier and bulkier). I'm looking forward to more of these LiFePO4 products coming to market and driving prices down, as the technology is far better than what is commonly used in most traditional UPS batteries. Over the next few years it's likely that all UPS manufacturers (e.g., APC, CyberPower, etc.) will offer LiFePO4 products. The DJI PowerStation specs state 20ms switch-over from line power to battery when used as a UPS, while the EcoFlow Delta2 specs state 40ms for switch-over. Both products work great as replacements for traditional UPS, but DJI wins as the quietest product, making no discernable noise when charging. As the price continues to come down over time, I'm installing these PowerStations everywhere I previously used a UPS to protect valuable electronic devices and provide protected power during outages. Love it!

Excellent Power Supply for Camping and Power Outages. Portable and very easy to use!
This power unit is a camping enthusiast's dream! It's really useful! Let me share my experience of using it in camping. First, its charging speed is extremely fast. When camping, we often face the situation that we may lack battery level, but with Power 500, this is no longer a problem. Yesterday we were camping in the wild and it was getting dark, but I still wanted a rechargeable light to illuminate and tell stories to the kids. I just plugged the power 500 into a household plug and it was fully charged in less than an hour, which is super fast! So we were able to enjoy our camping night in peace. And it works so quietly without any noise! More importantly, it can fast charges my drone with separately-sold charging cables, allows my to enjoy extended flight time. By the way, the Power 500's lightweight design and convenient handle also allows me to carry it anywhere and use it easily. When I needed to use an electric inflator to inflate the air bed, I directly connected the Power 500 to the inflator and completed the inflating task, and my kids also had a lot of fun. Moreover, its two 100W USB-C interfaces can be connected to computers and mobile phones. I like this design, helps us keep in touch outdoors, which is so convenient! Overall, the performance of the DJI Outdoor Power 500 in camping really impressed me! The fast charging speed, 1000W output, portability and reliability can fully meet my various needs in outdoors activities. I plan to use this as often as I need to. If you are also a camping enthusiast, I highly recommend this product. Have fun!

Best solution for remote work or weekend camping!
It's a real pain in the case of power outage, so I decided to buy a power station that can last for a few hours to a few days anywhere. I read a lot of reviews and asked my friends for advice before the purchase. I was debating between DJI power 500 and river 2 pro. One of the main reasons I finally opted for the Power 500 was its excellent battery performance. I was surprised to find that it only drained the battery to 42% when plugged into my machines for a few nights. With enough capacity, it can also meet my remote work needs by powering my tablet, laptop, and monitor. Even in camping, I also don't need to worry about recharging overnight. There is no double that reliable power supply is essential for an outdoor enthusiast, and its durability makes me more confident that the unit can handle various and rough outdoor conditions. Another way that really impressed me about DJI power 500 is its portability and user-friendly design. The size and weight allows me to easily carry the power station around, whether I am working at home, traveling or camping. In addtion, the screen display also provides me with a hassle-free experience, making it easy to operate the power station and monitor the battery level. Besides, a great plus is the super fast-charging speed enabled by the battery technology. In summary, I have had an outstanding and smooth experience with DJI power 500 so far and really appreciate its power capacity, efficiency, portability, and ease of use. I highly recommend the high-quality product to remote workers or outdoor enthusiasts who are also looking for a powerful and portable power unit!

The masochistic power station
Updated the firmware Out of Box (No cable is included). The DJI power 1000 is advertised with a 10ms UPS, this is not true, because it cannot switch over fast enough for any compute equipment and it does not provide clean sine power like our River. In fact it doesnt have a UPS at all, and simply turns off when AC power is interrupted. Dongle purgatory is included at an extra cost. The inverter can run high draw devices; though it is nowhere near as efficient as their competitors, but it does deliver advertised sustained wattage, but at about a 40% conversion rate, the best I could ever get was around ~900wh out of the unit, this is extremely high overhead for lighter loads. And it does not include the standard features that any other system will have out of the box. On the plus side, build quality is great, and it will deliver the full 2200w consistently until drained. For loads <1000w we use our ecoflow devices, and this power station will deliver about 660wh back into them, deliver 440wh with a 20w load, or sustain an 800watt AC unit for ~70-90 minutes; from 100-0%. I don't hate it, but I expected better from DJI. A proprietary SDC adapter to charge DJI batteries at 125w. No Solar input out of box; no 12VDC, firmware delivery via PC app using a cable that is NOT included, bluetooth dongle sold seperately ($25, ships in 5-8 weeks) What the actual incompetence? Type C can deliver 240w; SDC is scammy, scummy, and underhanded marketing. 2x140w type C ports are included, however, and the DC-DC delivery is impeccably efficient! Idle power usage is 30watts, that's where the missing 200-300 expected watt hours go, add an additional 20% DC-AC conversion; makes this singlehandedly the least efficient device on the market. Our River 3 Plus, outlasts this DJI unit by greater than 5 hours with any load under 100 watts, but the DJI will power heavy equipment, whereas the X-Boost feature from EF is blatant false advertising and does literally nothing. Solar is a nightmare, the proprietary charge controller won't handle any real input, despite the cost inefficiency, I expect it to fry as soon as I hook up one panel to each controller, to attempt to get the advertised solar charging input of 800w, which can ONLY feasibly be accomplished with 2 panels and 2 controllers, limited to 1 panel per controller. But any real panel will fry the unit with a 20v 13A limit... so perhaps I can find a non-standard, portable panel, that will fit the unrealistic specifications set forth by DJI to "force/coerce" consumer compliance, by starting the consumer on fire if they attempt any normal solar setup. By comparison, the EF river was as easy as converting MC4-XT60 and plugging it in, the EF's Built-In charge controller outperforms DJI's add on controller by a long shot. Accepting up to 50V, with a HyperVOC safety cut off, and supporting up to 30A. Update: after 6 months of limited usage, the unit constantly overheats and produces errors, bootlooping and refusing to charge in any ambient temperature above 80F; which is guaranteed to cause the unit to fail. Our River 3 was tested in the same environment and artificially heated to 140F before shutting down charging, it continued to provide power to connected devices; the river 3 plus did not shut down, limit charging, or fail to operate even at 160F ambient temperature. These units should be recalled and replaced, its like living with a bomb. TL;DR 1 year update: As the loudest, heaviest, most awkward and cumbersome 1k unit I own, the only thing it has ever done consistently is fail to operate. DJI refuses to acknowledge their faulty product; it's so bad they released a V2 with the same issues! Video added.

Excellent Power Station โ Reliable, Quiet, and Well Built
The DJI Power 1000 V2 has exceeded my expectations. The 1024Wh LFP battery provides plenty of power for both home backup and outdoor use, and the build quality is outstandingโsolid, premium, and clearly designed to last. It runs very quietly, which is a huge plus compared to other power stations Iโve used. Charging is fast and efficient, and I really appreciate the clean, well-organized ports that make it easy to power multiple devices at the same time. It handled everything from laptops and cameras to small appliances without any issues. The display is clear and informative, making it easy to monitor usage and remaining battery life. Overall, this is a dependable, high-quality portable power station from a brand I trust. If youโre looking for a powerful, safe, and well-designed solution for travel, emergencies, or off-grid use, the DJI Power 1000 V2 is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

Investment on my future power bills
I have been investing in power banks, so I know what works for me. I did buy one of these power banks a year ago, I love it. Quiet while charging, only takes 45min to 1 hour to charge. I use it to watch my TV during power outages, and during smud mid peak and high peak power rates. I charge overnight to pay the least amount of money for my electricity. It's an investment. No I will not get my money back very soon, but using it this way my bill on electricity will be cheaper. And I don't know when power bank prices will rise. Right now it's at great price. So I now will have 3 of this size power banks to give me 24 hours of continuous power.

Good product, even better (non-MFG) support!
Let me start by saying the product is very good. I set it up in my work vehicle with the DJI 1KW express car charger so it is charging when the engine is running and it charges the vehicle battery when the engine is off and the vehicle battery falls under V12.8. Works like a charm. Apparently, something was wrong with the settings on the app (should have cut any load when capacity reaches 15% but it didnโt) which allowed the DJI battery to fully deplete, after which it would not charge again, regardless of all remediation actions recommended on the support website and in the forums. Reaching out to DJI I learned they will NOT service this specific product because according to them it has not been officially launched in the US โฆ Amazon referred me to the vendor. Usually, thatโs when things would seriously get off the rails, BUTโฆ I have to say that the vendor did a great job on the support side. Communication was excellent throughout (usually responded within 12-24 hours, all communications done through Amazon), and after a quick troubleshooting session it assured me they will stand behind the product they sell. They sent me a shipping label to ship the defective product back and after inspection sent me a brand new product, which I just finished installing in my vehicle. Kudos to the seller. I recommend the product and setup for any vehicle (especially work and off road) but pay attention to capacity so it doesnโt go below 10-15%, as this will damage the product. I hope DJI fixes the glitch on the app in their next release.

Cool product with portability, high power, and a fast charging speed
Recently I bought the DJI Power 1000 Portable Power Station. I think it totally exceeded my expectations especially during the road trips. 2200W Output Power: one of the most outstanding features of Power 1000 is the 2200W output. It can handle almost all my devices like coffee machine, kettle, freezer and so on. My wife and I always spend our holidays RVing. In the evening we can use the car refrigerator, camping light, and charge phones as well as OP 3 at the same time, and it still has power left in the morning. Its 1024Wh battery capacity can keep my appliances charged for longer. I can keep refrigerator running for nearly 20 hours, which is totally enough for a camping in the weekend. Recharge quickly and easily: Recharging Power 1000 is very easy. I always charge it with grid power at home when I packed up my bags. It can be fully recharged in just about 1 hour. Quiet: We used to get problems with the noise of other power stations. When other generators power some high-watt appliances, they are very noisy and would disturb our sleep especially when we spend the night in the RV. But this one is much quieter. When it works, I can hardly hear its noise. Although it might not an important feature for all people, I think it would be attractive to all RV and camping enthusiasts. To my surprise, with all these amazing features, it's quite light and portable. Overall, it's a great purchase.

Excellent Power Station!
I really love the V2 of this power station, I waited for it to be on sale myself to justify the purchase as it sits at a higher price range compared to other power stations and the fact you need a solar adaptor to use other solar panels. I don't mind that though since you can plug in 3 panels per adaptor easily giving you 400 watts of solar input or 800 watts with 2 adaptors. Extremely fast charging capability even with the lower charge setting you can toggle, I haven't even needed to use the fast charging yet with how fast it charges. I've watched a lot of reviews for various power stations online and I think I'd buy this again with that knowledge still. I've since purchased a DJI Mini 3 drone which I charge with this power station and its gonna be a great addition to my little base camp setup for trips. I still need to buy a case but it easily fits in the trunk of my car without spraining anything loading it into the trunk. It feels light for its size. The only minor con I find is when the internal fan activates a sort of plastic smell is emitted from the unit, so I would suggest having some kind of fan ventilating the room. This is not an issue in larger rooms I find. Other then that, I find this to be a quality power station.

Super Silent. I mean completely quiet.
Have used it 3 times already. Last 9 hours with last use. Better than Bluetti. Best part. Completely silent. My fridge hums louder than this piece of kit. Silent and fast charging.
