Leather briefcase 18 Inch Laptop Messenger Bags for Men and Women Best Office Briefcase Satchel Bag

I've been searching for a brief case for a long time. This one is well made, has good division of space, and is attractive. I wanted a distressed look, because it is less likely to show scratches. I also like the "rugged" look. The price is great for such workmanship. It is also big enough to allow a large laptop computer (17 in wide). Great item!

I bought this bag because I’m a freelance interpreter and a law student, which means I’m gone every day from dawn until pretty late at night, so I want to carry basically everything I own. I wanted a big, comfy, bulletproof bag (it might literally be bulletproof, I’ll get to that in a minute) and boy did this one deliver. Size: Enormous. I sent a picture of me with it to my boyfriend and he was like ‘you planning a murder’? But in all serious, what you see there is my workout clothes including shoes, some random stuff I bought at Walgreens, my laptop, a water bottle, some school docs, my 1.5 inch wide portfolio, my wallet and all sorts of sundries. I still had room for my lunch, which wasn’t all that stable as Chinese takeout (usually a recipe for in-bag apocalypse) but because this bag is super stable (stands up on its own, all structure) it didn’t even tip. Durability: I think this bag could take a bullet for me. It is solidly constructed; I’m positive it will last forever. The lining is canvas and so well stitched, the hardware is serious business, and the leather is tough. None of that girly rayon stuff on the inside, ladies, where it gets holes for days and you realize all your missing lipglosses are in between the lining and the leather of your purse. Five stars for being well made. Looks: like it eats sharks for breakfast. Honestly I was looking for something prettier but I’m a future lady lawyer so sharks for breakfast might be a better look than Breakfast at Tiffany’s anyway, whatever my heart may feel about the relative merits of shiny, dainty, and maroon. It is a manly tough bag, that’s for sure. The color is neat; lighter than I expected and my roommate called it fashionable cognac. I don’t know about leather fashions (I’m a vegetarian so I feel guilty I even bought it) but I take her word for it that this is the latest in leather couture. And I also know that no ladies’ bag is built this well. Overall, awesome purchase. I don’t review things but I felt moved by the amazing next level ish that this bag affords, and it is literally already changing my life.

When I unwrapped the package it came in a beautiful canvas bag. You can definitely use this canvas bag for something nice. The bag itself is so well-made the zippers are strong and thick and they have leather tabs. There are so many different compartments to organize your things inside. The lining is very strong and durable. The pockets on the outside are well-made and spacious one has a zipper and one has a snap. On the backside of the bag there is a zipper pocket as well And inside the bag there’s a secret zipper pocket along the front side where you can hide things this bag is the nicest bag I’ve ever owned. Would definitely buy it don’t contemplate. Love this bag. It comes with handles as well as a shoulder strap. What I really like about this bag is it doesn’t have a flap so you can access your things very quickly without having to open the flap.

Just got this bag in the mail and I can already tell it's going to be, "The Bag." It is even bigger than I anticipated (for some reason 18 in. Didn't seem this big to me), but thats great. It comfortably fits my 13 in Macbook pro, 2-3 average sized books, my binder, and computer charger, along with various other small things. Granted it has not been put to the test yet, but I will be tomorrow! I absolutely love all the pockets and zippers. Will make staying organized so much easier now. I am also planning a trip and have decided this bag will be my carry on! It's that perfect size. So, it would make a good traveling bag. I am no sewing or whatever expert, but the stitching looks sturdy and durable (just the way I like it). And leather is great quality. The only drawback, and it's minor (at least I think it is), is the smell. And when reading other reviews before I decided to buy this bag they had something similar to say. I can smell the genuine leather smell but the bag just smells ... weird. Honestly, it smells like a Chinese candy. So, no horrible, but not great. Luckily, my mom sells lavender products so I was able to stuff it full of lavender sachets and it seems to be helping. Anyways, the smell is worth mentioning, but not enough of a "problem" to take away a star. Plus, smells fade after a while. In closing, I highly recommend this bag! Buy it!

It is a good bag overall, here are the "but"s: Strap is a little long, and not enough holes to tighten it to be able to carry the bag a little bit higher on the shoulders, and as others have noted, the buckle is set up so it is right on your shoulder, awkward and easy to change in the design. The easy access outside zipper is a lifesaver because the buckles that open the inner compartments are almost impossible to open without using both hands...there must be a better way to do it without sacrificing the classic look of the bag. I have enjoyed it for a month or so now, and it seems quite well made, has good zippers, holds my GIANT (and heavy) 17" Mac Book Pro no problem. The note from the manufacturer, and the cloth outer bag that it arrives are a nice touch, adding to the feel of something that was made just for you to enjoy. I would buy this again, and have, recommended it to others.

This bag arrived so fast that I didn't have time to anticipate it's arrival! A very beautiful and well crafted bag. It has almost no odor that should dissipate quickly. It's big enough for my 17" HP with enough pouches for my pad and accessories. The strap is padded, comfortable and adjustable enough to wear cross shoulder. The only adjustment I made was to add a "U" shaped foam pad inside so my laptop won't get damaged if I set the bag down too hard. My girls are fighting over the lovely pouch it came packaged in (nice touch). For the price, I got a very nice, expensive looking and practical bag I'm sure to enjoy for many years. Thanks Komal. I'm adding a review after having this 17" Komal for 2 years. I have not been gentle with this bag. I use it for my mobile office and carry it almost every day. For as much abuse I put it through, it has relatively few marks. The only problem I had was carrying a heavy 17" laptop, overtime stretches the buckle holes. I added rivets to the buckle holes and a couple extra holes. It now is the absolute perfect bag. I have gotten many complement and know of at least 2 friends who have bought them. The third picture is my abused bag after 2 years. Highly recommend this product.

I bought this as a gift for my significant other starting a new job. He has a huge laptop and most bags won't fit it. This one is a gorgeous brown with tons of space. The quality is amazing and it came inside of a really gorgeous cloth, drawstring bag that I can use for so many things. The bag works perfectly for his computer, files, papers, notebooks, pens, and even art supplies. It doesn't have "padding" like some bags do, but that is what makes it so versatile. He loves it and uses it as his permanent at home and at work briefcase. I'm thrilled that the old, ugly bags got tossed out! He has also flown several times with this bag and had no issues using it as a carry on piece. This is an excellent purchase and I highly recommend it. ******UPDATE JANUARY 2017: After more than 1 full year of REALLY hard use, this bag looks brand new despite the fact that it's PACKED with my boyfriend's paperwork, computer, chargers, and work-related junk. We have only treated this once with leather protectant for when he's out in the rain and snow commuting and have seen no cracks or aesthetic issues. The amount of stuff you can fit in this is much more than a standard briefcase, but holds strong as if it actually were a briefcase. He takes this to the office everyday and back home again and everything is still like brand new. The lining is perfect...no loose threads or tears. The strap is like new with no weakening or stretching. Buckles and snaps are still working great and no matter how much he stuffs into this or what kind of weather it endures, it's beautiful and functional. I just got hired for a new job in an office, and it seemed like everyone had an executive leather briefcase. However, they had spent hundreds on their bags, and I just couldn't justify spending that much on a bag. After searching for weeks on Amazon, I decided to go with this bag from KPL. I needed something that would hold all of my documents, laptop, folders, etc. First of all, I took the free shipping option, which said that it would arrive in 3-5 business days. The bag arrived to me after 2 days. I was amazed at the quick turnaround. When I received the bag, I was ecstatic at the look. It was a little lighter in color than I though it would be, but over the weeks it gets darker once it starts to absorb the natural oils. The next thing that I noticed was that it was packed and wrapped so carefully. Every metal buckle was wrapped with foam, and taped. The bag itself was packed inside of a protective mesh bag to protect the leather. The last touch was wonderful. There was a typed and hand-signed letter inside of the bag that expressed the makers thanks for the purchase, and had care instructions printed on it. This bag is beautiful and I get compliments on it all of the time. It is also incredibly well-made and functional, for what I would consider a very GREAT price.

Great fricking bag! Honestly when I first received it I was a little unsure of the quality but I prefer to wait a few weeks and try things out before rating or reviewing. I've had this bag now for a few months and I am so glad I bought it. The construction is sturdy, the internal design makes a lot of sense, and the number of compliments I get is unreal. I've already sent the product page to a few colleges who loved the look and design. Keep in mind it is a LARGE bag, if you don't want a bag this large try some of their smaller options. I would buy this product or any similar product from this buyer again in a heartbeat.
