Grinds down my agates and petrified wood
I have decided to quit stockpiling rocks and get off my but and polish them all. I am in Montana and have a lot of petrified wood and moss agate. This stuff works well to grind the rocks to move on to the next stage. I like that it comes in the little bucket. they stack well and are labeled. Keeps the tumbling area neat and I don't have to worry about the container breaking or ripping.

Good price. Good product.
If you tumble rocks. You quickly learn the grit you use the most of is your rough. 60/90 is what works best in my 3 lb. Barrels. This is the least expensive I've found and it works.

Grit is good! Little shovel not so muchโฆ
The coarse grit is what I expected it to be and the price is a plus. My only complaint is that @$#% little metal shovel that is packed inside on top of the inner plastic bag. In the bucket I received the shovel cut the bag and grit leaked out. When pulling the top of the zip-tied some of the grit fell out. That little shovel is useless for dispensing the grit as it falls off the shallow pan. Unless you have the steady hands of a surgeon you will spill it. I recommend the small plastic dipping cups found in food supplement containers to handle tumbling grit.

most economical grit
Other than 40-lb bags, these 10-lb buckets are much more economical to buy than the little jars or envelopes.
