Easy to set up. Announcing of calls is a bit comical the way things are pronounced, but helpful when we can understand it. Needed at least 3 handsets, so happy with that. Large print for Caller ID is nice.

Very easy to see with large buttons and controls for my parents. Programmed with the perfect ring tone and talking caller ID. Answering machine is compact and easy to understand. Nice sleek shape and features. Went with lighter color for their new place. Good buy for the price

If only the instruction booklet was large enough to read! They sent this TINY booklet that requires a magnifying glass to read, so it's basically impossible to read. I had to enlarge pages on my copier so I could understand directions. Took about 3 days to get it set up. Finally got the loud ring(s) adjusted, and now it announces callers' names when phone rings, but adjusting volume doesn't seem to help. Wish I could hear it! Reading reviews I see it doesn't last long, but is Panasonic the only option? My old one lasted 8 years!!! I finally found a way to enter a first and last name in your phonebook. You use the 0 for a space! That information isn't in any instruction book anywhere ! As for the tiny instruction booklet, if you don't use Google to search for directions, you'll never find it in the Panasonic's book. For instance, besides how to space between names, in order to turn OFF the AUTOMATED CALL BLOCK, select Menu and enter #787. I was seeing calls I'd never heard ring, and finally figured out it was from the Automated Call Block. These were #'s that I wanted to connect with, and it comes automatically set to ON. TERRIBLE!!!! UNNEEDED!!! One person finally told me that they had noted on my record that the phone rang once and then I'd hung up on them! Lotta help, Panasonic...

Bought this “used like new” and it was half the normal price and indeed seemed new. My elderly mom had a Vtech phone and was getting a lot of scam/spam calls that were confusing her. She thought many were legit and I could tell most of them were scams. I really feared she’d be tricked into paying someone or giving out personal info. So this phone has a setting that only allows phone book entries to ring through. After spending quite a long time entering in every number of her usual callers - everyone else calling will go to voicemail and greatly reduce this risk. Spammers don’t usually leave messages! It’s unfortunate that so many elderly are victims to these scams. And the scammers always seem to know what to say to confuse them and even make them feel guilty. It’s a shame more isn’t done to lock this down.

I don't recommend this product at all. The phone disconnects from the base for no apparent reason making it unusable to answer. Anyone who depends on phone service for medical reasons should avoid this one.. One of the cordless phones off will separate for the base and on does not answer an incoming call. Sometimes I have been lucky and another click on the key will allow the caller to connect, but very confused as to what just happened because of the delay. There are other problems as well, the flashing lights don't flash or sometimes flash but with no ring. All three phones don't ring for incoming calls at the same time.. It even has blocked callers. Having this phone is risking my life if I ever had to depend on it for an emergency. I know this is a harsh review but trying to manage from the instruction booklet is useful. "Easy to use with large display and big buttons" was a reason to buy it . My experience is that things that don't worth are useless and in my case could also be a safety risk for me and my family.

Easy setup. I followed the directions and allowed the phones to charge. Once fully charged they worked brilliantly. I love the large display.

Tried 2 days to charge the phone which ask to charge for 7 hrs. Always have message of 'main unit no power'. After several hrs still one bar. Still testing till Monday before returning.

I was thrilled to track down a Panasonic Cordless Phone, but was devastated to find that it won’t work in South Africa, due to differences in voltage (totally different plug)
