It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, and it layers nicely with the rest of my evening routine. When I apply it, I notice a mild tingling sensation, almost like a gentle nettle tickle, but it doesn’t burn or irritate my skin, which is reassuring for a retinol product. I haven’t used it long enough to comment on visible results yet. With retinol products, I know it usually takes at least two weeks or sometimes longer to start noticing improvements in skin texture or fine lines. If you're familiar at all with microneedling, this is the same idea. There are little spicy led (to y dissolving needles) in this serum that make micro channels in your skin to allow products to penetrate more deeply. It also has three gentle chemical exfoliants to smooth and brighten skin. It's a fairly thick, non-sticky serum, and it prickles quite a bit when you massage it in. I bought this on a whim and found out later that this is NOT "beginner strength". A starter serum would be a 100 ppm level. 2000 is definitely more intense and I do get some irritation immediately afterward. I own a professional grade microneedling machine, but between setting it up and sterilizing, it just feels like more of a project than I want to do for shallow, frequent needling. This serum is a nice shortcut and really, really speeds up the results I see from other products, and I use it roughly o CD a week.

I like medicube serums and skincare products and I have tried medicube toner pads which I liked and a moisturizer which I also liked. This is my first time trying spicules so I went easy and I did a test spot on my inner arm. I did not have a reaction, but my arm felt hyper sensitive for a few hours. This absorbed quickly, stayed a little tacky which I wasn’t too excited about but it’s doable if it works. I patch tested on my chin and I did not get a reaction. I am going to use this on my chest and for spot treatment because I am still a little concerned about teeny tiny particles going into my skin…. Look what happened with hyaluronic acid filler that everyone though was a great skin plumper—- I’m going to go easy with this..

I waited to review this product until I had used it for a long enough time to see if it would truly make a difference. I am very happy to say that not only is my skin softer and more hydrated, but I have a more youthful glow to my skin. I also use Medicube Pore Pads with this and they work very well together. I was also pleasantly surprised that my skin was not sensitive to this product. My skin usually get irritated easily, but this one did not cause any issues. You can't go wrong with any of the Medicube products in my opinion.

I swear for the price and the effect it shows 10/10. Tbh I didn’t expect much from this all I know it’s that it kinda hurts and it replicates microblading but at home version so I got it. But I swear I’ve been using it as a night time routine and my dark spots is becoming lighter and lighter! I had this a HUGE dark pigmented spot on my cheek due to a pimple (literally every pimple I get leave a dark mark on my face it’s so annoying) anyways it’s now fading!!!!!! And what I got this product 2 weeks ago?? Fabulous. Definitely give it a go
