You have to have an adaptor as it is a foreign plug.
Bought these for a present for my 26 year old grandaughter she was very impressed but only just gave them to her so she has not tried them yet.

It’s melting!
The rollers melted. Gooey curlers we’re not inspiring… Now I have to find electric jumbo curlers that don’t melt and work in the UK. Annoying and expensive. I used to live in the US and used conair electric curlers all the time. My recommendation is to not use them out of the US. Great shame, as before they melted they created exactly the look I wanted. 😩
