This is solid, stable for what it is: a camp tripod seat. We will use it for " emergency" needs to sit while walking , for dad who can only walk short distances. Portable and light. Not a comfortable chair( it's a stool) but useful when in between places for someone not ready for a rollator with seat.

I bought this specifically for our trip to Disney. I have a connective tissue disorder Ehlers Danlos and thus it affects me standing for long periods of time. Especially static in line. So I got this to be able to carry and pop out when needed to take a seat in long lines or waiting for a long time where there isn't always somewhere to sit. Especially in the bus lines. Well this worked out FABULOUSLY! This stool is very compact and light. It was just small enough to fit into my husband's backpack, but it was also light enough for me to carry myself on occasion without bothering my shoulders too much or at all. The seat is small but comfortable enough for short spurts. 20-30 min would be tops and then you would need to take a walk or move around a bit or just stand up. I occasionally allowed my kids to sit on my lap for a few moments as well and it was tolerable, if it wasn't I would have had to make them get off right away. It really is so light though and that is what made it so perfect. I also have used it around the house out picking blueberries and it worked great! The kids also grab it and use it around the house. If we go hiking or camping I would definitely take it with me. Anywhere you might go that you need a break and may not have a seat available and sitting on the ground is not conducive to your body (like me) this is a great stool it is very lightweight and compact and comfortable. Definitely worth it!!! Also wanted to note that the strap is adjustable and also can be unclipped if you need to remove it or want to clip it to your pack or something else. It should be long enough for most people to comfortably carry it around over their shoulder. I am 5'4 and a sz med about 130lbs.

Was a gift for a friend to use ringside at dog shows. Did give it a try beforehand and found it easy to use, lightweight and comfortable/sturdy to sit on. Hopefully she will enjoy it!

Best purchase ever! I have had this for over 3 years - I use this a ridiculous amount (this is not just a camping tool in this household- sit by the dryer to pull out laundry, by the bed to read stories, fridge to clean, load, etc - it is an indoor, outdoor, home and traveling - I hope I have validated my use of ridiculous). When I purchased this I did not imagine what I would put this through but it is a trooper and remains in incredible condition. I will update when I need to buy another one (note: that may be never since I will be buying for others but I don’t count that…) I do want to note that I purchased this because of the weight it could hold (and I read reviews) - it can hold weight. I have used this both to hold my weight and other weight I place on it. It has been a very helpful tool. If I could give more than 5 stars I would - I can’t so this raving review will have to do (I don’t review that much - especially years later - hope that means something). If you’ve read this far and have the means, just buy it - I’m sure the quality has only improved hence I don’t think you’ll regret it. I haven’t.

Prompt. As shown. Height good, weight is not too much. Folding easy. However-- I can't imagine a heavy person perching on this thing. I'm middle weight and 5'10," and the seat is just barely adequate, definitely not generous. Still, it's a great temporary seat in a pinch. I made it a carrying bag to ensure clean storage.

I bought two of these chairs for a recent trip to a convention, whose long waits in line were the norm. I'm approx 6'1-240lbs so not on the smaller side. I used this chair for 50 hours in a 72 hour span. While not the most comfortable chair ever made, for the amount of time I used it, I have to say this is a great design in its compact and storage versatility, and surprisingly comfortable. I now keep them in my car ready for any type of activity where sitting is preferable than standing. You can insert your own activity here. The size make this easy to grab when in doubt, and has often served as a life saver. Easily stored and low-profile. Almost no bigger or heavier than an umbrella. You will not complain taking it with you and will be rewarded by being rested and comfortable when you get up. If you carry a small inflatable pillow to sit on, you can really extend your comfort with this chair. Pros: Surprisingly sturdy but very light which means not thinking twice about taking it. The price is also very reasonable. Cons: Must be placed on sturdy footing or risk falling over. Can be said for any chair but the small footprint makes this more relevant. No back support means you will notice you don't have back support when you get up. Overall: This is a very affordable, surprisingly comfortable, and travel friendly chair, as such, I can recommend! Well constructed, strong, easy to carry.

This chair is super convenient when you’re on the go all the time! It’s incredibly useful and can take it anywhere. I really loved using this chair compared to big and bulky foldables with back rests. I’ve received many compliments on this chair and always get asked where I got it. Definitely awesome while it lasts. I bought 2 of these in November 2017 for $12 each. One for me and another as a gift. I referee so I bought this chair because it’s light, portable, and easy to set up. I sit on it for some 5 minutes every couple of hours during the weekend. Around August 2019 the chair started to become defective. First, the screws that hold the legs in place would fall out on their own. Checking for screws isn’t something you would think of so the first time it happened I fell on my ass. Only 1 original screw is left and I replaced the other 2 with larger ones. After falling, I made sure to check and tighten the screws every time I would use the chair. Now the biggest issue is that the fabric on the seat rips at the seams and makes the leg go through to render the seat useless. One side is completely fine, another is starting to tear, and one side is completely gaping. I have attached images from all different angles. I really liked this chair but also upset that the company only stands behind their product with a 1 year warranty. I don’t use the chair all the time and I only weigh 150 lbs. Which is almost half the weight this chair is claimed to hold. Product descriptions say that only the best materials are used and can “withstand the test of time” but it doesn’t really feel that way. Now in December 2019 the chair is running for $20. I will be purchasing a replacement and hope that the increase in price also means an increase in quality and durability. I can’t wait to enjoy my new chair!

I have friends I hike with that have camp seats that way within .5 pounds of this and have way more problems and cost more than 5 of these chairs do. It's not the lightest thing ever for backpacking but for anything else its great and for backpacking its reliable if a bit heavy.
