good heavy build quality
very solid, heavy and well built and good value. much beefier than a similar model owned by my neighbour. unlike his drawbar, the pins on this one are good quality and threaded in easily and it came with a top pin. it is also full cat 1 width not undersized. i am using it for towing and also to use atv bar attachment implements on my smallt kubota. it works very well for both. i also used the tow hook to pull some small stumps without incident. the receiver is slightly oversized and bars fit a little loose. this does not seem to affect anything other than you need to hold the receiver bar level to get the pin through. i have had problems iwith a different chinese made hitch receiver being pinched by the hole punch during manufacturing and therefore not fitting a standard bar without grinding, so i suspect that is why this one is made a little loose. use shims if you need to.

VERY well made...
I was going to build one of these in the shop with tubing I had laying around. Would have taken a full day to cut and weld up plus paint. Needed one piece of metal I didn't have but before I went to buy it - on a whim- I checked Amazon. They were on there and priced anywhere from $54 to over $250 - some with free Prime shipping. If you are shopping for one be very conscious of the weight. The $54 ones weighed anywhere from 22 to 26 pounds - they are made from thinner gauge metal. I think this one weighed 42 or 44 pounds. I rolled the dice and bought it thinking I could brace it easy enough if needed. Not needed!! Wife couldn't move it off the porch where UPS left it. I had concerns about the weight because when UPS sent tracking info it said package weight was 33 pounds. I weighed it - 48 pounds with the box. This thing is heavy gauge tubing welded to 1/4 or 5/16 plate. It's exactly the way I would have made it. Just very well designed and constructed. Yep, it's made in China. Don't care. The farm stores around me sell ones similar to this - made in China - for around $170. So I'm supposed to shop local when they aren't?? Nope, I'm cutting out the middle man. Thanks Amazon! Now, if you had sent me the correct 2" insert I would be in business.... off to the shop !!!

Great attachment, not quick-hitch compatible though
I have to say I was very pleased with my purchase. I thought it was well built, nice welds, and came with the pins and clips to attach it to the tractor. I did not pay any attention to if it was quick hitch compatible, which it is not, but It is very easy to install and use. looking back I am not to concerned about it fitting onto the quick hitch as both a re easy to get one and off and being closer to the tractor mean less strain on all the connections. I had no issues with the hitch sleeve or any of the mounting points. Great tool and great price.

Heavy Duty, Good Welds
Like many others, mine was just barely packaged - I was honestly surprised it arrived undamaged. But it's super heavy and there is no way the box would survive typical shipping. The receiver is heavy with good build quality and nice welds. There was no powder coating in the threads on mine and, while the pins were difficult to thread all the way in, a big screwdriver through the spring clip hole was all it took. Both of my 2" hitches slid in with no problem and all the holes were lined up well. Good value. There are a lot of cheap ones on the market - this is the one you want.

Not Fully Quick Hitch Compatible
Item arrived via UPS Ground, and the cardboard packaging was pretty much destroyed. Fortunately, other than a couple of scuffs in the paint, the hitch was unscathed. Also, I noticed that UPS had a listed ship weight of 33 pounds, where this item is advertised at 47.5. Turns out, it's neither, and after weighing, it's actually 42 pounds on the nose. That said, it is plenty heavy and the construction, materials, and welds all appear quite satisfactory, especially considering the low price. Apparently there is no standard for Cat 1 specifications, and while the width of the hitch worked on my BTR Quick Hitch, the top link pin location is too high for the QH top hook at it's full upper position, and will require me to drill another hole in the top link hook for proper support. The mfr should research this and consider a design change to allow more compatibility, or at the very least warn potential buyers of this issue. I had no issues with the lower pin threads as some reviewers pointed out. A small amount of grease on the threads prior to install may have helped. Also as others pointed out, the inside dimension of the receiver is a strong 2-1/8", which makes the 2" ball mount fit a bit sloppy. Not a deal breaker, but something I may elect to shim if it becomes an annoyance. All in all, other that the need to spend more time modifying the top link hook, the hitch is well made and worth the amount paid. I especially like the heavy loop near the top, which adds flexibility for attaching a chain, etc. For me at least, it is deserving of a 4-star rating despite the issues pointed out.

Well built and works well overall.
the package had some dmg, but everything was there, like how the pins were wired to the frame for that reason. I was curious about the ring, looked in at the ends of the ring.. it was not welded but looked sturdy enough for some applications, but with that said I did cut the top of the retaining buckle over the ring and removed the ring, welded the ends and reinserted it into the the buckle and welded it back in place. I am happy with the fitting of my hitches in the reciever and even pleased with the winch I had in there. with the winch I had to have a secure ring and that was the reason welded what and where I did. I feel it is well built and works well overall
