Good rice cooker - gets the job done.
This is my first huge rice pot purchase, and I am happy with it. The price for this is actually very reasonable! So far, cooking large amounts of rice has been very easy and our rice has come out perfect - every time. We bought this to do fundraising events to make plate lunches, and I probably will buy more in the future if we ever expand. The pots are very sturdy and easy to clean.

The size is perfect for my needs, making it incredibly versatile. Whether I’m using it for decor or practical purposes, it suits every requirement beautifully. The design is both modern and stylish, making it a great addition to any room. I highly recommend Arôme Home Products for anyone looking to elevate their home decor. It’s definitely worth every penny!

Excellent Mid Sized Rice Maker for Catering
Just love this Rice maker! Comes in a good sturdy reusable box and really makes 30 cups of rice without pushing the lid up. I also own this units little brother a 15 cup unit for small jobs. Both are excellent - foolproof machines. Wash everything with soap and water like it says in the manual as there is residual fluid on the aluminum from pressing! After washing the first time, I fill mine up with water to the 30 cup line marker and press the mode button (cook) and let it boil about 15 to 20 minutes, then unplug and remove the lid. This gets rid of that funky metal smell. It does take about 60 minutes to make the full 30 cups of rice into 60 cooked cups. I add my rice, water, salt and butter and let it sit about 30 minutes before starting it, then stir it up and let it cook, auto-magic-ly switches to warm when ready. Fork it up to fluff it up and its ready to rock! Never any burnt rice stuck to the bottom. When done add warm water and let it sit 15 minutes with the lid on, rinse it out and wipe it out with a cloth. No sticking! No waste! Then back in the box for next time! I have a large propane rice maker by a different manufacturer and some rice always goes to waste - burnt or uncooked.

Aroma Housewares 60-Cup (Cooked) (30-Cup UNCOOKED) DIDN'T WORK, HAPPY IF IT DID
I bought this rice cooker, for the big Polynesian get togethers, and even doing fund raisers, we make plate lunches, first time I tried it, I did not need the full pot, I made 15 cups uncooked, which made the 30 cups cooked, but it took forever for me to keep trying to push the cook button, until it finally turned to cooking. The next 2 times we were doing plate lunch fund raisers, it would not go to cook, it felt like it was getting hot, but the light never ever went to cooking. after hour and a half, it was just kind of Hot/Warm Water, and the rice not even cooked, luckily my sisters had there rice pots, but only the 3 10 cup rice pots from family, so we had to stay ahead of once a pot of 10 cups is made, we put into foil pans, and just kept the 10 cup rice cookers going. I was so mad that this damn rice cooker I bought, was definitely not working how you guys claim it's the one touch and forget it. Even the third time Graduation, I brought it out again, hoping maybe it was just something we did wrong, After it did not start cooking for the first hour and a half, my brother was on the internet, trying to look up what could possibly be the reason it was not cooking, and he followed all the instructions, but yet that damn button would not go to cook... So we just you know dumped it into smaller pots, and cooked it with all the other smaller pots. I didn't really get to see if the rice would burn, since it kind of worked on the first time, but it sure took a long time to make that button work for iyt to begin cooking. By the time it was cooked, luckily, everyone was pretty extremely hungry, and drunk, so the food went quickly, BUT I do believe it was fully cooked, we just finished the pot, once everyone was ready and hungry to eat. So Imply saying it still had not worked since that first time. I'm not even sure if covered under warranty. But I really want a new rice pot that works, or refund me, or maybe I will take a smaller pot, that has the easy buttons that go down, when you know it's working. Please get back with me, I would actually prefer the same rice pot, THAT IS WORKING!!!!!

Excellent low cost basic cooker!
Excellent basic cooker, without paying for the higher end non-stick bowl / digital features. For those folks who say they get burnt rice, learn to make rice with a rice cooker! Add the proper amount of water! Minimum is 15 cups of uncooked rice to be used for this unit, don’t use less than that or you’ll get over cooked/burnt rice. Here’s a quick tip from myself who’s been cooking rice since I was 8 years old (that’s almost 40 years of making rice almost every night, that’s close to 12,000 times of rice making!): Rinse the rice 3-4 times before use, until water is pretty clear. Soak the rice for 15mins to soften the kernels, each field harvest of rice is different so some need no soaking other times, you’ll need to soak, you need to see for yourself. Cook the rice in the cooker. Once rice cooker is “done”, LEAVE it in the cooker for 15mins to firm up. Do not touch the lid, leave it for the 15mins. Then using the supplied spatula mix the rice carefully by “folding” the rice (the objective is to go slow, so you don’t break the grains of rice too much) from the outer rims to the center and then from the middle/bottom to the top. Then you put the lid back on & let it sit in the warm setting for another 15mins before it’s ready to serve. I’ve been cooking Chinese long grain, Japanese short grain, California Calrose this method with no problem spanning dozen of rice cookers. Oh yes, taught by many Chinese chefs & Japanese sushi chefs, the rule of thumb I follow is never to use the full capacity of a rice cooker or you’ll get unmanageable rice (90% of max. capacity). So with a 60-cups cooker I never will use more than 55 cups. I’ve cooked for myself to cooking rice for hundreds of commmunity volunteers so I know what I’m talking about.

Great for large groups, consistent quality with white and brown rice.
This does what it says and with 12 cups of rice and 24 cups of water, it will feed about 90 kids for a snack serving. I have been using this cooker for a year and a half and it has been continually producing high quality white and brown rice. It is easy to set up, but, if it is unwatched it can be messy with the steam/bubbles from the rice sometimes coming out the sides of the lid near the end of cooking. I wash the inner basin after soaking it with hot, soapy water for a bit, since there are special cleaning instructions for that part and the outer heating element. I haven't had rice burning while using the automated mode, however there is some browning near the bottom.

great item
its a great item, very large, im a big rice eater, so it works perfectly for me, just follow the instruction, and you will be fine, remember to add the same amount of water which you add rice PLUS quarter more...any mmeasurmnet you are using, to cook rice, you must add the same amount water plus quarter of the same measurment (water)....press cook buttom it will be ready in about 20 minutes,BUT, remember not to open the cover in between and NEVER when it beebs, you gotta wait atleast 20 more minutes after the beeb sound, so it can get cooked completly and perfectly....also: do NOT put the rice cooker next to or on counter that is close to other items around it especially next to wooden cabinet simply because it starts making kinda powerful steam coming from the little hole which is normal and can make lots of moisture, i personally would put it on the flat floor in the kitchen or any floor, nothing around it,..make sure no kids running around the house....washing tips: do NOT scrub the pot, it might get some, mild crust, just soak it in water few hours or over night and gently wash it off with soft spong NOTHING rough, and rinse it....you do NOT want to scratch it.. also: Do NOT fill the pot, you get lots of rice by filling it less than half, and the cover will still start moving a bit beacuse of steam, so 2 big, large glass of rice will give you more than 7 portion of rice, and thats big middle eastern portion, ..after cooking couple of times you will get a hang of it..

Nice product
Works great. Well built. For people who complain about the rice cooker last less than one year, make sure you dry the outside surface including the bottom of the pot before you plug in and hit the “cook” button.
