Lodge Enamel Cast Iron Grill Pan, 12.5 x 8 Inches, Red

This cast iron indoor drill is perfect to cook hot dogs , burgers, chicken and vegtables. It can take high heat without any problems. I start out turning the heat on high to get the pan real hot and start cooking . It works great and after about 15*20 minutes , I turn down heat to half to continue cooking food with no problem, no smoke orburning food problems. It clean up well after it cools completely too.

Works as it should. All the enamel intact no chips. Its on the small side, can fit one large steak or two smaller steaks/chicken breast. Maybe 3 chicken thighs. Not the easiest to clean so i would suggest also getting the lodge’s cleans scrappers. They make one specific for this grill pan which makes it way easier to clean in between the grates. This pan is medium weight not super heavy which I appreciate. Love the red enamel, blue would be nice too. Its already seasoned. Ive only used it twice so we will see how the seasoning hold over time. The price point was great for a gift.

Awesome grill pan easy cleaning

Its a decent little grill. Wouldn't say it's completely nonstick though. Also don't expect to cook large quantities on it. To its credit, I made a mean reverse seared steak with it the other day and It was delicious with some amazing grill marks.

Bought to use on pellet grill but the enclosed manual stated do not with outdoor grills.

You can’t get a better in house grill experience without cast iron and this pan is perfect for the task. The pan is easy to handle and is slightly heavier than the 10” skillet but worth the extra cooking space. Clean up is typical of cast iron and always easiest to clean as soon as it’s cool enough to do so. Trust me, I’m notorious for leaving dishes till morning…even though I can’t stand it LOL this pan has changed that routine just to save on extra scrubbing. This pan was made for stove/oven so it’s dipped in a glass/clear porcelain coating not designed for grills. This coating doesn’t handle uneven heat as well as non coated. So be mindful of that statement in care packet when choosing to use on grills. It’s harder to see if the pan is compromised vs traditional porcelain cookware. Caution aside, this pan lives on my stove and is my go to for all meats now (in house) I hope this helps some of you and happy cooking!

This is a great pan to cook a couple of steaks on. We use it stove top when we can't grill outside.

This pan is awesome. I've been using it to grill on my gas stove. It's surprisingly easy to clean too.
