Games Workshop 40,000 - Combat Patrol: Orks (2024-10th Edition)

Great Warhammer set. Got exactly what I was expecting.

Kind of a side version of Orks, but a really cool side part with great new models

Pieces are good quality, package arrived one day ahead of time, and I've already started kit bashin'. You end up saving around 70$ or so if you purchase this kit vs buying them all out individually.

They're fine as orks in the poses they came in, but you can't really do much with these models without heavy alternation. Even with the 20 boyz that come in this set, after the first 10, the new ones look less impressive because they are duplicates. Of the 60 boyz planned for my army, I'm done with this model for beastsnaggas and will convert my others from some other ork kit. Beastboss is has zero options. You can't really assemble him any other way. Going to have to get another model for my second beastboss. Squighogs also lack options. Going another route for my further squighog purchases. Disappointing, as I'd much prefer to buy duplicates of this box, but this box has lost it's value after the first purchase due to the models lacking pose options.

Die Lieferung war nicht die schnellste, aber Hauptsache: rechtzeitig zum Geburtstag meines Sohnes. Die Schachtel kam stark beschädigt an – man hatte das Gefühl, sie habe mindestens drei Retouren hinter sich. Für Rücksendung und Neubestellung war keine Zeit. Zum Glück blieb der Inhalt unversehrt; etwas Packpapier und Klebeband haben die Verpackungspanne überbrückt. Mein Kind hat die „mitgenommene“ Box kaum beachtet – er war mit dem Auspacken beschäftigt und legte sofort los. Nach seiner Reaktion kann ich nur positiv bewerten: Gussrahmen heil, Bases und Anleitung vollständig, Details sauber. Pluspunkte: – Pünktlich zum Fest angekommen, Inhalt ohne Schaden. – Miniaturen in guter Qualität, solider Einstieg für eine Ork-Patrouille. – Kinderfreude garantiert. Minuspunkte: – Verpackung ziemlich ramponiert – stabile Außenverpackung und mehr Füllmaterial wären dringend nötig. – Der Preis ist happig: Als Elternteil verstehe ich nicht, warum 100 g Plastik = 100 € :) Fazit: Das Set selbst ist klasse, das Kind begeistert; beim Versand/Verpacken gibt es Luft nach oben. Produkt empfehlenswert, der Verkäufer sollte die Verpackung deutlich verbessern.
