This keyboard + tape job is absolutely ridiculous. The built quality is incredible. The miller aluminum shell is super sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. The keys feel incredible. The sound leaves a lot to be desired, but I put a couple layers of athletic tape underneath the board, and it sounds incredible. Easily the best keyboard you can get at this price point. If you get this, grab yourself a roll of athletic tape and tape the underside of it. You won't regret it!

Bought this keyboard after many weeks of researching because the last few keyboards I had were wireless and either broke after a few weeks or required batteries all the time. I have been using it everyday for work, not gaming, but it works great! I love it! Just plugged it in and it immediately started working! I especially love the weight of it, and the clicky sound of the keys. It is not a flimsy plastic keyboard, it’s made of metal and seems durable. The lighting is a super cool bonus. One con- it is not Bluetooth wireless. You will need to have it plugged it using the supplied cable for it to work. Not a huge deal, I would def still recommend!

This Keyboard is honestly so great for the price. The 3 different connection modes are much appreciated. I personally use BT for most of my needs (which is very responsive), but the option to wire in or to use 2.4 gHz for a (slightly) faster response is great! I'm also glad I was able to find a full keyboard that fit my needs as the num-pad is something I didn't want to give up. I enjoy the design, and the different options are great if you aren't into the anime style. The keyboard is suitably heavy, which makes sense as it is mechanical. It also makes good use of the real estate on the board, which means the keyboard is surprisingly more compact than you'd think for a full size keyboard. Definitely fits well on my dest! It's relatively early days for me using it, but I haven't had any reliability issues and it feels sturdy! I could take or leave the RGB lighting, especially for this particular design, as the keyboard is already stylized. That being said, the lights aren't too bright so there's no distraction, but they're still noticable. This is a great keyboard for anyone looking to get into the mechanical keyboard space without going crazy on the budget. Personally, when I switched I was skeptical, but the change from membrane to mechanical is palpable and I'll never go back now.

A Total Game-Changer! Excellent Soft Feel and Incredible Lights I have been using the Redragon K686 Pro SE for a while now, and I absolutely love it! This keyboard is a massive step up from anything I’ve used before, and it honestly feels like a premium product without the premium price tag. The overall typing experience is outstanding. You mentioned it feels "soft," and that's the perfect word for it. The switches are incredibly smooth—it’s a creamy, cushioned feel that makes both gaming and long typing sessions an absolute joy. This "soft" feel greatly reduces fatigue and makes the sound very satisfying. But the real star of the show is the lighting. The RGB on this keyboard is phenomenal! • Vibrant and Customizable: The colors are incredibly bright and vibrant, and the multiple light modes mean I can always match the look to my mood or my setup. • A Desk Showpiece: Even after all this time, I still catch myself staring at the beautiful effects. The lights truly make this keyboard a centerpiece on my desk. I'm still using this keyboard as my daily driver, and I don't see myself replacing it anytime soon. I hesitate to leave at five out of five stars but for now I’m extremely happy with the keyboard. It replaced my Logitech G413 which was terrible because you could not replace the switches and it had some sort of proprietary keys. If you like the switches and the type that they use as strongly recommend this the board has a slight wobble to it but otherwise it’s an excellent condition. I did not get the Wireless one. I got the wide one because I value reliability. Economics are excellent. I thought I would miss some of the keys, but I have not had an issue at this point typing is excellent though if you’re not a good typist, you might prefer something that doesn’t push your fingers to the next key a little too quickly. Lighting and LED are not something I care much about but they look pretty good. They’re done on the board itself. You can also do software, but I prefer not messing with all that. Durability looks good. I don’t see any weaknesses. The board feel solid and heavy although I know it’s not made of the high premium materials. It feels more than adequate to do its job. Long-term reliability for the switches and the key caps are something I don’t know about and will only find out in a few months Overall, I strongly recommend this keyboard for its economics, durability and stability. If you prefer a linear type of feeling and prefer a most smoother typing experience with very few resistances you would enjoy this keyboard. Size is excellent. The only thing that I wasn’t too sure about which may be an issue is the fact that the USB-C port is on the side instead of in the center if I had to ask for another feature, I’ll probably ask for a hub to allow us to Daisy chain to a mouse. It’s excellent for gaming and very good for typing in business settings. In many ways, it beats the more expensive keyboard by a wide margin because of the value it offers and the piece of my knowing that if it gets damaged, you’re not out hundreds of dollars.

I was looking for a wireless mechanical keyboard to replace typing on a laptop keyboard since it feels more natural. I do like the keyboard layout where the keys are more compact with the handy knob on the upper right corner for quick access to increase and decrease the computer volume. The keyboard is compatible with Windows and Mac and has some handy switches on the left side of the keyboard to easily toggle between wired, bluetooth and wireless 2.4 GHz USB receiver configuration usage. One thing the product description doesn't mention is that this wireless mechanical keyboard is also compatible with Chromebooks which is great to bring for traveling. The keyboard keys are a bit quieter than I expected from a more traditional mechanical keyboard even though I prefer the keys to be a bit louder but that is a compromise that I am willing to accept. The keys do feel comfortable with good build quality and the battery life on the keyboard is amazing. I used the keyboard for 3 days and only lost 1% battery life. The keyboard does have customized software that you can install that allows you to toggle between different keyboard light effects and has a sleep timer setting that is configurable that sets your keyboard to go to sleep after a certain period to save battery life.

I love this keyboard for daily use at work. I especially appreciate the option of bluetooth, usb wireless connection, or wired. And the battery life is amazing! The key click sound and feel is exactly what I was looking for and the overall appearance is great. As for the customer service, I couldn't be happier. My order was missing the usb piece for wireless connection, but other than that the keyboard worked fine. I reached out to Redragon and they sent me an entire new keyboard with no questions asked and no return! That combined with the pricing already being so low, I would recommend Redragon to everybody I know.

The Redragon K686 PRO 98-key wireless gasket keyboard feels like good quality and performs really well. It’s very responsive, even when waking up from sleep mode, which is a big plus. The typing experience is solid and it feels well built overall. The only downside is the app. it could definitely be improved. I wish there was an option to open the app using an assigned key or shortcut. Still, a great keyboard for the price.

The software settings for the rapid trigger is inconsistent in game. And sometimes the redragon software doesn't detect when the keyboard is plugged in.

Excellent value for the price, switches are a thocky, and silky smooth (linear). Havent tried the wireless portion yet but wired it works great. Keycaps are also great!

I've had several keyboards from this brand and they've all been excellent, so I had high hopes for this one - and it absolutely delivers. The purple colour scheme and lighting are gorgeous, bright without being harsh. The aluminium base gives it a really solid, premium feel, and the typing experience is spot-on. The linear switches feel smooth and responsive, and the whole board has that satisfying, well-engineered quality Redragon always nails. The tri-mode connectivity is handy - I've used wired and wireless already and both feel stable - and the 98-key layout is compact without losing any functionality. The control knob is a nice bonus too, making volume and brightness adjustments super quick. For the build quality, lighting, and overall feel, I think it's fantastic value. Another great keyboard from a brand that keeps impressing me.

I love this Keyboard. High quality transparent keys. key clicks are quiet and gasket really helps reduce impact forces on my finger joints. Configuration software works great and easy to use. Did not test wireless features as I installed mine USB direct connect.
