HORUSDY Vise Jaws, 6" Magnetic Retention Vice Jaw Pads, Universal Vise Soft Jaws

Awesome product I bought two. One for the house shop and one for the hangar. The only complaint is the magnets have cracked but they still function well.

I like these things! I’ve seen the jaws that have all the grooves and notches and I’m sure they’re very handy, but these have a simple crosshatch and perform well. The magnets keep them in place when the jaws are separated and/or rotated. I would like have another set for holding round stock, these really aren’t for that.

I used these to take the rear sights off my handgun and to put them back on, they worked as expected and I am very pleased with my order. I rated them four stars because the magnets are a little weak and they do fall off almost like nothing is even holding them to the metal vice. They did not mar up my gun and so I can recommend this and hopefully I wont need to buy them again.

Great quick soft jaws. I was worried the grooves would leave marks on wood but haven’t run into any issues. Quick and easy, I still keep a piece of scrap leather handy as these do slip a little on tougher jobs.

Good price, good material, BUT WEAK WEAK magnets, keep falling off vise when vice jaws are opened to put a piece of work into it. Somewhat disappointing.

I have been using a Bench Vise for a year. However, my concern is denting, marring, or crushing things that I Place into the vise. The solution I had was using silicone strap wrenches, but they tend to get crushed under the pressure of the vise. A friend recommended that I get pads for my bench vise. I never knew that these exist. The integrated magnets keep these attached to my bench vise jaws. The soft material prevents my items from getting damaged. I tried this on my friend’s Glock 23 slide to remove the front sight. It kept the slide on the vise in a stable and secure manner without marring, denting or scratching. I wish I knew about these items sooner. But it’s better late than never. I highly recommend this item.

I should have bought these years ago. I finally used them today. Saved me $60 on project I was working on which was made out of plastic. I used these vise jaw protective covers and I had no breaking or marring the threads, perfect. You don't need them until you need them. So go ahead and get yourself a set. You will thank yourself later.

Worked ok for awhile. Magnets are not very strong so they do not hold onto the vise jaws very well. Most of the magnets have broken now just from tightening objects into the vise. I would not buy these again.
