Just do it, you won't regret it.
I don't know why I didn't get one of these sooner. Since I got it, it's seen nearly as much use as my vacuum. I originally got this to do auto detailing, but use it for just about everything now. Tile and wood floors get much cleaner than a regular mop or swiffer, carpet spot removal is a breeze. I steamed several "dry clean only" coats, a leather jacket, boots, shoes and waders; all came out exceptionally well. This thing took out wrinkles in curtains that I hadn't managed to get out with a conventional iron. Using this on windows is a touch messy, but the results are worth it. Bathrooms are now properly clean too. For the car, I have used it on leather seats, steering wheel, carpets, headliner, engine bay, windows, sun roof and tried it on wheel barrels. The only place on the car it did not meet or exceed my hopes were the wheel barrels which had baked on brake dust and tar. for the car's carpeting, I actually prefer the results from steaming over shampooing. It's also a bit more effective at blowing dust and dirt out of nooks and crannies than compressed air. I did dry this on some painted surfaces so you don't have to: for automotive paint and the like it's OK to use in small doses to clean out crevices without rubbing, but for wall paint (at least latex, I don't have any enamel)...just don't do it, the combination of heat and rubbing/pressure will peel it right off. I have a couple spots on my walls to repaint because this softened it enough that it just peeled off. Of course, if your goal is to remove latex paint, this works pretty well. This is "dry" steam, which isn't actually dry but the meaning of "dry steam" isn't what many people suspect. The meaning is actually based on the water content, and this produces relatively little water for what it does. The inclusion of the pressure adjustment is a very nice touch and I was a bit worried that the adjustment know would affect temperature and not just pressure but res assured; it is pressure only. The adjustment knob is one area that could use a bit of improvement: it works opposite of what you'd think (clockwise reduces steam output), it isn't a single turn knob so there's no easy way to tell what setting it is at; mine turns about 4 rotations. The adjustment is also a bit finicky: from maximum, it stays nearly at max pressure for one turn, then the next turn is the rest of the pressure range and the following 2 turns are basically off. There is no level meter, but the drop in pressure at the end of a tank is very noticable, and if you drain it all the way you'll hear the unit click which is probably the solenoid closing to regulate pressure. I didn't investigate because I wanted to make sure I didn't burn up the element so I quickly turned the unit off. At first heat up and if you have left the unit on but sitting for several minutes you will get some burst of water out of the nozzle, there's not a while lot that they can do about this so just keep a rag handy. Pressure is around 58psi on a non-low tank, which is plenty to blast dust and debris out of crevices; in my engine bay it handily blasts off most caked on dirt, only requiring scrubbing for heavy dirt. As far a being chemical free, this helps you deliver on that concept, but for some things it will make less aggressive chemicals work better. Build quality isn't the best but it's by no means cheap. The only Time I thought the build quality could be better is when working on floors; the extension tubes fit together well, but the joints flex a bit when mopping. I'm not worried about any of the attachments breaking under normal use. The rubber grip on the handle is just stuck on over some plastic ribs so that if it ever falls off, you'll see some discomfort from them. I would like to see a triangle head attachment like many other steamers have, and the garment attachment (the one I use the most) would be better if they redesigned it with clips to allow you to use your own cloths. The garment cloth seems pretty cheap at first, but if you're careful with it you'll get plenty of use out of one before needing replacement. I save mine for actual garment and have fashioned a way to wrap a rag around the head and hold it on with one finger. Oh, and the rubber squeegee is removable from the garment head, do this when you're not using the squeegee. Another niggle is that there is no place to store the grout brush in the unit without displacing one of the other brushes. Now, some people think I'm crazy for using this on leather; trust me, I'm not. The thing is, you have to know what type of leather you're working with and how to treat it. Do NOT use this on suede or untreated leather. to test, put a small drop of water on the leather and wipe it off after a second or two; if the water soaks in it is untreated, if you have no soaking or very little, it is treated. For treated leathers I lightly/sparingly spray some heavily diluted all purpose cleaner on the leather, work it in lightly with a leather brush and then use the garment attachment with low steam and fast motion, followed by quickly wiping down the area I just steamed and then condition the leather after I'm sure everything has dried (leatherique is a great product to use for this, much better than lexol). The leather seats in my car were all pretty stiff and shiny (they're not supposed to be shiny), and had no texture. After using this method the grain of the leather could be felt again, and the gloss on the leather was returned to nearly the factory matte finish. Don't leave the steamer on leather too long because you can burn it, and for anything that wrapped around foam, keep in mind that most foams don't like steam either as it will work like a sponge and hold onto the water. With enough water in the foam you're then looking at mold and mildew, which the steamer will kill, but then you're feeding more water into the foam for it to mildew later (see the cycle?) Overall, I am extremely happy with this unit and would buy another in a heartbeat. If I was buying a steamer for a single purpose, I may go for something cheaper but this thing has the best price to performance ratio on the market. The only thing that would really make me move to something nicer would be if I ever needed continuous fill, but at nearly an hour per fill I see no need for that any time soon. I was able to steam most of my engine and the entire interior of the car with just over half a tank. Update after 10 months: Still love it, still no problems. The garment bonnet is a little thinner but still works great. I can honestly say that this thing has revolutionized how I clean...everything. I have yet to find a singe reasonable task that is hasn't done the job well. Using it in the engine compartment of the car makes the job so much easier, and it gets wrinkles out of curtains faster than I could do it with an iron. Nothing has broken or even shown signs of wear yet and I use it very regularly

Great little machine!
Trying to use as few chemicals in our house as possible, we are always looking for alternative cleaning methods. Steam cleaning seems to be a great way to disinfect and clean effectively. We are so pleased with our purchase of the Vapamore MR-100. It's clear that a lot of engineering and design went into this piece of equipment. The size is perfectโvery easy to pick up and transport around the house. The cord is just the right length and easily retracts back into the machine. I love the convenient storage for the small attachments, which are neatly contained on the back of the machine. The power of the machine belies the fact that it is consumer-grade. It produces plenty of steam to get the job done. The smaller attachments are great for getting in nooks and crannies, or irregularly shaped items. For example cleaning grates on HVAC vents. It could be very very difficult to get in all the slats with traditional cleaning equipment. The Little brush attachments with steam make quick work of the vents. We also had a bedbug scare. In the end we're not sure if we had them or not, but we had confidence that our bedroom was free of problems. This was a great way to avoid the use of toxic chemicals where we sleep. Using the steam cleaner combined with a little handheld carpet cleaner made quick work of spots in our carpet that we had been struggling with for years. We did have an issue with the electronics, but one call to the company, and it was covered under warranty. We had to pay for shipping, but the machine was quickly repaired and sent back to us. Customer service is excellent! It is very easy to reach a human, and they are great at following up on concerns. I always tried calling tech support or customer service for any product. But living in North America when you call the number you get a real live person in Scottsdale, Arizona. We highly recommend Vapamore and the MR100!

great machine and great people make this a wise buy
This is a 3 subject review. The 3 subjects are the machine, the dealer, and the manufacturer. The machine is definitely a superior one. I have had a number of cheaper ones and right before I got this I tested out one of the reputed best ones, the Ladybug when it was offered for sale as a used machine locally on craigslist. The Ladybug was ok and I mean just ok. It didn't impress like a machine that costs about 1500.00 bucks should. I am very glad I waited and got the mr 100 from Vapamore. For some reason, we Italians seem to be the master of steam technology for cleaning. While this may be made in China, the important steam tech is made in Italy and it performs like the whole thing was made there. It takes the standard 10 or so minutes to heat up and once ready it makes a lot of steam with a lot of pressure and the steam is nice and dry because it is hot enough unlike cheaper ones. The steam pressure is also adjustable. It has on board storage for all the small attachments which is a huge time saver. It also has a long cord which has a self retracting reel with a foot pedal. It also comes with net bag that holds the funnel and 700 ml measuring cup that one fills twice to fill the machine along with the 3 extension wands and the floor tool. And only use distilled water in it. I found the steam was strong enough to cut through dirt and grease and soap scum etc and like all steamers, one squirts the steam and then wipes away the mess with a rag or paper towel. Mine arrived with an issue believed to be caused in shipping. The hose had a kink. I contacted this seller and he referred me to the Vapamore company and he went the extra mile by contacting Max at the Vapamore company and apprising him of the situation and forwarding him my email. I give high marks to this seller for customer care. When I called Vapamore, Max was already well informed and totally committed to correcting the problem. He was a pleasure to deal with and has great pride in the quality of machine they are able to deliver for such a low price and deservedly so. (btw, they are releasing a new machine this month that looks to me to be a real category killer for those than can afford it. it will be around $700 but I think it will compare favorably with the $2000. competition. It is called the Forzo) Max was concerned for my satisfaction and he immediately sent out a replacement for the part damaged in shipping. Even emailed me the shipping invoice to show they sent it. I feel I made a good decision to deal with this seller and this manufacturer and I highly recommend both to anyone seeking a great little steamer and the people behind it to back it up. Also of note, the mr100 comes with a lifetime guarantee, try finding that on another steamer.

J.U.N.K. You get what you pay for!
Hello All, Oh, the let down again. First time was the #1 rated McCullough 1385. Now after researching for another 3 months I gave in to buying this piece of... I don't know how anyone else is cleaning their home but I wouldn't suggest this or the McCulloch 1385. I'm not quite understanding the love for either of them. Unless your just hitting the high spots & calling it good. My house is considered spotless by all who enter. My husband calls it "PerfectViille". I just see the dirt & imperfections. After months of reading reviews & from my previous experience with the McCullough I thought I had done my research well. I always spend so much time researching. That I thought I had bought the best for a reasonably priced machine. I was so excited when they arrived. And then I got to use both of them. I actually like cleaning. But once I did I was immediately dissatisfied. The McCullough burnt me in multiple places 2nd degree burns, it shot screaming hot steam in my eye. Not cool. Handle got so hot it was untouchable. And actually some of the attachments even melted. It also didn't have the cleaning power it claimed. But the chord was longer than the Vaparmore. They both left more water than preferred on wood floors. I just wanted both units to do what they claimed. I do understand that my definition of cleaning is EXTREME. And that other people's definition of cleaning are two very different things. I've been known to re-clean after a paid professional has cleaned due to job they did being so poor. It took days. Unfortunately when something is done so badly it tends to make matters worse! It ends up costing more & makes more work for the person that has to fix it or clean it up. It took longer because I had to clean up the excessive water. Keep wringing out the pads. Because there's only one & you have to wait for it to cool. I admit, I'm an obsessive compulsive, organized - everything has a place, nitpicky, clean freak & that's how like it. I enjoy cleaning. It went through over 3 gallons of distilled water on 1 sm. bathroom & 2 bedroom floors on my top floor which is approximately 1,100 sq. It was pretty clean, since I clean often & deep clean every time. Pros: Squeegie turns into curtain/clothes steamer Child safety lock on trigger Cons: Handle gave me a blister Handle gets HOT Makes small hands cramp. Doesn't allow for continued steam. Have to keep pushing button/ hence blister Hose too short Wheels don't swivel. Need caster wheels 360ยฐ Chord not long enough Chord gets HOT Too much water No extra cloths And I got burnt It didn't clean grout at all even when adding chemicals. But by adding heavy chemicals back in kind of defeats the purpose of getting a steamer!! They don't give you extra microfiber Velcro replacement cloths for floor attachment or for the squeegie cover. I feel for $299.00 they can throw in 1 extra of each. And the correct ones aren't for sale on Amazon I truly hope this helps you narrow it. If you're looking to buy a vapor steamer. Start saving up and wait to get a really good one. Look around $600-1000+ range. Look for stainless steel boilers so you can use tap water & get the ones that have a lifetime warranty on boiler & 1-2- 5 yr warranties on parts labor. Those usually are the good ones! I realize this is really expensive investment but think of the inconvenience & continued expense of distilled water. The warranty alone is great. And you do get what you pay for. If you're the type of cleaner I am, it'll pay off in no time. Take a few side jobs. Clean a house or 2 & a few cars. There a few really good companies out there with great steamers ๐ Thank you so very much for your listening & time.

Overall good machine but flimsy parts
I bought this steam cleaner with the intention of cleaning my kitchen tile grout and maybe removing the calcium deposits on my bathroom shower doors. Overall, the steam cleaner performed adequately. It heated relatively quickly and was easy to maneuver. My issues with it are: A) The water tank is a little small (I had to refill my tank 3-4 times to get through my kitchen which is around 300 sqft); B) It kind of takes awhile for the unit to cool down before you pop open the water tank cover and refill (but I think the same is true for all steam cleaners); C) The 3-part plastic tubing that connects the trigger handle to the floor unit (where the steam comes out) is woefully weak and wobbly. When I connected the 3 parts it was only held together by some stopper knobs. By the time I finished using the unit 4 hours later, the tubing parts were kind of loose and wobbly already. It's not nearly as stiff and tough as I think it should be especially since you have +150 degree steam shooting out of the end. D) The unit does get kind of hot after continual use. The body gets a little hot as well as the 3-pc tubing; E) The floor accessories (i.e. grout nib, tile nib, etc) that the unit comes with look good in the beginning but after a few hours being exposed to super-hot steam, the bristles starts to loose it's shape and become slightly melted. I had to throw 2 of my nib accessories away after using it for the weekend because it had permanently melted into one gigantic plastic knob; F) This unit is LOUD while in operation. I had to put my ear-buds in and turn my iPod to maximum to try to drown out the noise. Everyone had to leave the room because they couldn't take level of noise it generated. While it did a great job on my kitchen grout it did nothing for the calcium deposits / water spots on my bathroom shower doors. I tried every accessory and head that came with the machine but the calcium didn't even budge. The only problem with cleaning the kitchen grout is that someone had to follow me with a towel to wipe up the excess water and murky stuff that got blasted from the grout. It actually was a lot wetter and messier than I thought it would be to steam clean the kitchen grout. The unit takes too much effort to setup and use for steam clothes (which you can do) unless you have A LOT of clothes you need to steam and power through. I don't know how good it is against bed bugs and bed mites. I used it on my mattress just to see but couldn't really tell because I visually could not see a before and after difference. It doesn't really do furniture that well either. I have a white cloth couch that had some yellow spots on it that I thought would go away with some steaming but nope, still there. I'd say that if cleaning tile / grout or steaming tons of clothes is what you want to do, this machine would be OK for you. Just don't expect it to do anything for calcium deposits or water spots in your bathroom. I'm sure there are better ones out there but since I bought this one and it works OK, I don't think I'll be buying another one anytime soon to compare it to.

I have to dig to find things wrong with this steamer. Great job eliminating fleas in my house.
The setup was intuitive and without and problems. This was purchased to steam carpet in the house to exterminate fleas and the associated flea eggs. During use I placed a thermometer under the head and it approached 200 degrees F within 2 seconds. It is important to move the head slowly across the carpet, but the glider frame makes it very easy to do so. Since it has been years since this carpet got this level of cleaning I could smell the dirt burning out of the carpet. Afterwards it had a very nice clean look. Also, it should be noted that there was very minimal moisture left afterwards. I would let the carpet sit for a few hours before saying it was fully dry. As an experiment I had some textured vinyl floor with some cat litter dust ground in to the texturing. With the glider frame removed, it took a couple of slow steam strokes to really clean the floor. This was very impressive. First I really like this appliance but it is not 100% perfect. First, it is a bit of guesswork to decided how much water is needed to fill it. It does come with a measuring cup and a funnel but I did not see what the total tank size was. So I filled 500ml at a time and measured with the included dip stick. This was repeated until it was in the middle off the dipstick range. There is also no way to tell how much water is left as you steam the floor. The steam strength will start to fade as the water level decreases. When you decide to refill, you need to turn the unit off and let it cool for awhile. The instructions state that you should wait about 45 minutes or more. I guess an enforced break is not necessarily a bad thing. I also noticed that when I was steaming large areas that the steam could fade a bit. I would stop for about 15 seconds for it to catch up(green light coming back on) when this happened. Because of this duty cycle weakness, I would not recommend this for commercial applications but it is great for the home. I was also impressed by the customer service over email. I had multiple inquiries about best practices on use and storage and each time my email when it was sent in the evening, a response was made morning of the next day from a USA location. The unit is produced in China. I would gladly pay a bit more for a more local source as a personal preference, but it does not reflect on any significant decrease in quality.

Best all round steamer with a great guarantee behind it!
Love the compact design and some tools stored right on the unit. Sturdy construction, long electrical cord, good directions. Best all round steam cleaner out there. Make sure you get the Primo model. Originally, I planned to buy the Pro5 or TR5 from myvaporclean.com. Changed my mind due to recent machine failures and customer service complaints. ------------------------------------ PROS Gets super hot. I like this better than the $2500 commercial steam cleaner from Dupray because the temperature is hotter! Easy to steam the bed to kill any type of bed bugs or eggs. There is a small squeegee tool and a tiny terry cover with elastic that fits snugly over squeegee tool for this purpose. Can use this setup on furniture, too. Pretty good job on mirrors and windows with only minor mop up. Easy to fill from the top, comes with measuring cup and funnel. Tools snap together easily. Very simple to use. ------------------------------------ CONS Needs a water level indicator, so you can tell how much water to add when water is already present in unit. Pressure dial should be reversed, so that clockwise equals more, not less, steam. Needs three swivel wheels for easier maneuvering, since you can't drag the unit along by the steam hose. Needs a slot or hook right on the unit so you can temporarily park the gun nozzle and squeegee if you get interrupted. Company should include at least 3 of the tiny terry covers for the squeegee. You can buy them separately, but $10 per cover is way too high. ------------------------------------ Despite these minor quibbles, the Primo is a fantastic machine with a fabulous warranty, and I am delighted with this purchase. We did not test the unit on floors, since we bought a separate, upright steam cleaner just for floors -- the Steamfast 3 in 1 mop. But the Vapamore Primo is much more versatile for use all through the house.

Great cleaning machine. SUPER hot. Good for bed bugs too.
Gets CRAZY HOT so BE CAREFUL. If you get your skin in the way of the steam or even catch a water droplet you WILL get a very bad (or serious) burn. I say this because even though I thought I WAS being careful, I found out the hard way that I needed to have a little more respect for the temperatures this thing pumps out. Bought this primarily as a way to kill bed bugs. Definitely gets hot enough to kill them. Has attachments so you can run this along baseboards, spray it in bed frames, etc. Anywhere NOT electrical of course. Also used this for cleaning hardwood, tile, glass, granite counter-tops, etc. Worked great. NOTE: If you have bed bugs - you will definitely need this item, but hire a PROFESSIONAL to come out to get rid of them permanently. A combination of cold treatment (compressed CO2), bug powder (Diatomaceous Earth), and chemical spray (rubbing alcohol kills on contact but evaporates fast - Temprid Sc Insecticide stays around for the long haul) works the best but should only be used by pros. Bed bugs are VERY resilient, hide well, and live for a LONG time without a meal, and without the right tools AND KNOWLEDGE you will not be able to get rid of them. Spend the money on a pro who guarantees their work with a warranty. It is well worth the money.

This unit is very sturdy and well built, best value for the money!
I did a lot of research before I purchased this unit. I have a disability and was looking for something that would help me clean without having to be aggressive with scrubbing or chemicals. This unit is very sturdy and well built. I love how many attachments there are for different uses. The grout brush works amazing! I have tried a number of chemicals and brushes and scrubbing my grout only to have almost nothing happen. A little pressure and steam brought it back to new! I was sold on this unit right there. I have 5 boys love that I can just steam away germs and bacteria on every surface without effort. I literally walked around the house looking for everything I could use it on and tested it. The unit is small enough that it followed me without effort. The grime I got out of the areas of the stove that are unreachable by other means (seams, hinges) was amazing. Who knew that was hiding in there. It blew the grime off my chrome racks inside the oven with ease. Can't wait to try it on the car and the motorcycles. The self stow away cord is a big plus for me as well as the storage for the attachments. The ease of use and instructions show thought went into this. The first couple of times of use there was a strong foul smell of rubber. I attributed this to it's being new and no different to the "burning off" you get with other new items like a frying pan. The smell eventually went away as it was used more. I would have to say the only thing I did not like is the lack of water fill gauge. I have no idea how much water is left in the unit and have a couple of times overfilled. Considering it's just water, it wasn't really a big deal but a water fill gauge would make this unit perfect! Not having to buy chemicals for cleaning is a huge money saver and will pay for the unit itself over time. I have no doubt this unit, if taken care of, will last a very long time. Do give this unit time to heat the water properly before trying to use it otherwise you will not get the full effect of it's intentions. The price may seam high compared to other units of this type, but don't be fooled. The quality is obvious and cost is comparable to a vacuum which can do far less. I'm sure I will find endless uses for this and am excited to see what it can accomplish on autos. If you are looking to purchase a steam cleaner, look no further than this one. You will not be disappointed!

Fabulous !!!! Really powerful steam cleaner..
Tried my new Vapamore steam cleaner for the first time today.. and could not stop cleaning with it. First, the kitchen cupboards .. especially along the wood trim.. where grime collects and is so hard to remove.. then, the ceiling over the stove.. with the micro fiber floor cleaning tool.. then, the lino floors.. next, the bathroom toilet.. ( especially at the back of the toilet seat.. where the hinges are hiding lots of grime and germs. )... onwards to the tub / shower tiles... and more floors. The steam cleaning machine , worked at very high pressure steam... for just under an hour.. with a single / litre fill of the distilled water. ( there were gallon jugs for just over $2 at the grocery store.) The machine is easy to glide along where ever needed.. with very sturdy wheels.. and an 18 foot retractable cord. There are 18 accessory parts.. including the tool bag.. micro fiber cloths.. measure cup and all the special brushes etc. The steam machine is fairly quiet... nothing for eg. like a vacuum cleaner etc... I did an hour of online research.. prior to selecting this model.. and I am so happy with it. It has a lifetime warranty.. but does appear to be very well made.. so do not expect any issues. It apparently contains a stainless steel internal Boiler. I could not be any more pleased at the effective steam cleaning power of this amazing machine.

No more bugs and my apartment has never been cleaner!
I absolutely love this machine!! It's nice and compact which is great for my small apartment. It has so many useful accessories. I bought it for the primary use of killing bed bugs. They were baffling me as I never found them when inspecting my mattress and box spring. It turns out that they were hiding right under the sideboards. So I used the smallest nozzle to steam under the boards and it seems to have killed them all. I also steamed my bed, pillows and sofa and since then I haven't seen a single bug, egg or got any bites. I am so relieved! Now I use this machine for everything - yesterday I cleaned my oven which hadn't been cleaned before I moved in so who knows how many years of grease and dirt was on there. I used the brass brush and now the oven looks brand new! I use it weekly to clean the floors, kitchen and bathroom. It heats up quickly and it really makes everything so easy to clean, and its kind of addictive to use, I love it!

First Impressions
First Impressions (I have had the unit for a week) BEFORE WE START THE PROS AND CONS, PLEASE TAKE SAFETY WARNINGS SERIOUSLY. I BURNED MY HAND 2ND USE; IT gets boiling. Pros It belts out steam. It's relatively portable (I am a senior and can manage it without a problem). For $500 Canadian, it appears well made, especially the heating or central unit. On a tank of 1400 ml, you get a lot of mileage, about 50 mins. There is an assortment of useful attachments. Overall I recommend this unit. Cons You have to tip the unit over to empty - awkward. Some of the assembly pipes have a definite click reassuring when dealing with hot steam - but some of the parts have no actual click leaving you guessing. MASSIVE INCONVENIENCE, NO WAY OF KNOWING WHEN YOU CAN REMOVE THE CAP TO REFILL VERY AMBIGUOUS AND NEEDS PROMPT, IN MY OPINION. Accessory pads (2 types), which you need because there is quite a bit of water, are horrendously expensive if you factor in freight quite outrageous. In addition, you only get one of each with the initial purchase. OVERALL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS UNIT.

Handles feels like cheap plastic
Not what expected. Does the job on steam cleaning the floor and upholstery. But does not work well on cleaning grout on tile. Impossible to empty out remaining water. So it ends up sitting in there. Handles feels like cheap plastic.
