Beautiful. Well made. Thick, ample, and thirsty ! My husband loves it! So nice to put on after his shower. It’s so cozy, that after his shower he likes to come out in the kitchen wearing his robe to have a cup of coffee, and then he goes back into the bedroom after his coffee to get dressed.

Like most people, I’m hesitant to purchase anything through the mail that requires a size. As I was opening the package, I was being very careful because I knew the odds were very high that I would probably have to return It. I ordered size M/l even though it’s the first time I’ve ever seen anything sized this way. It turned out to be perfect. I am 5” 10ish at approximately 180 pounds with a little beer belly. It fit as though it was made to order.The arms and legs length were perfect. The collar is big enough to cover the lower back of your neck or kept down for a great and even look. The three pockets are strategically placed and very comfortable with both hands in the lower two pockets. The material is very lush and feels like it’s something that would be available in a luxurious expensive hotel. I have yet to put it on after a shower or a bath but it’s quite obvious that is very absorbent.I see two negatives that someone may not like but they don’t bother me at all. The sash isn’t long enough to make a full bow. It’s perfect fora half bow which I think is adequate to keep the robe closed.The second possible negative is some people may find the sleeves to be too large. The length is perfect. Like I said earlier, neither of these bother me and it doesn’t affect how great the robe looks and feels when worn.I’m definitely going to order another one because I always like to have two robes available.If you can handle the fact that the slash can not make a full bow and the sleeves are a bit large (still looks good though) then this robe is for you.

I purchased this robe after my beloved white terry cloth towel became too ragged and thread bare to justify using it any more. I combed through Amazon search results for over two weeks trying to find a robe the right fit that wouldn't unravel after one wash. I also found quite a few robes thst said "terry cloth" but were actuallly satin, fleece, or linen. I was looking for a robe that would be less plush and more like a rough towel that wouldn't stick to me after a shower or cause me to overheat. The reviews on this were great so even though I couldn't get white I decided to give it a try and purchased gray.Now, quite a lot of the robes I've looked at have had reviews that said the small or mediums were enormous and that the large or xl/2xl were too small. I am not a small woman at 289 lbs though I am what they call a "petite" height at 5'5". I know I'm fat, focus people. Anyway, I have to buy men's robes because women's sizes are a joke. No two mediums are the same, right ladies? So I got this men's robe and out of the bag-packaging it was very heavy. That was a little concerning because I wasn't looking for a heavy robe but I figured it'd lose a lot of the weight through lint loss after a few washings.The length was good, about lower-mid calf on me so not too long or too short. However, with a 48DD (~52 inches) bust the robe closed but didn't overlap much. I got this robe because I wear a women's 3x which usually falls into a men's 2x. If I was a guy who needed a 2xl this would be a bit small for me I think, especially if there was a guy gut involved.I decided to wash it to see if it would unravel and how much it would shrink. The color stayed true and didn't fade or run. None of the seams started to unravel and neither did any of the edges start to fray. Even the belt held up fine. There is no pilling and the weave is not unraveling or pulling loose. While there was a good two handfuls of lint in the trap it wasn't an extreme amount. The robe felt much lighter but still has a good weight to it. It did shrink significantly in the arms and shoulders and perhaps an inch or two in the chest but it actually fits better in the arms and shoulders now, length and breadth-wise. I don't believe that the arms would be too short for a man unless he were over 6'2".Overall, I'm happy with the robe and think once I wash it a few more times it will start to feel less and less plush and more rough like a normal towel.

Great robe, looks good a feels great. Worth the price.

This robe is made of excellent quality, fit's a tall man perfectly. Made an amazing gift! Very pleased. Royal blue collar is nice.

Lovely soft robe . Hard to find one that's actually soft without being synthetic, this one is perfect. Towelling on the inside so the velour isn't against your skin but it still feels lovely.

This Alpine Cotton Velour Bathrobe is absolutely superb as described and pictured.The XL/XXL was purchased for generous size of 51” L x 62” W x 22” arm x 30” sleeve.The size was perfectly accurate and did not shrink or change after several wash/dries with lots of dryer fluff,for a body size of 5’7”, 180 lbs, 42” chest, 32” arm. It is a very large and roomy size.The positives are a thick extremely luxurious, very absorbent, soft interior terry and a plush, soft exterior velour that soaks up body moisture quickly after showering and dries quickly too. It's like a big warm towel bear hug. The shawl collar is very deep and thick, the sleeves very, very wide, the long tie belt remains closed, and the pockets big. The color white is rich and does not stain using body lotions or topical pain creams.The minor negatives are the arms are too wide at 10” as more for an elephant leg with the wrists catching on things, and arms are about 2” too long for a regular length. The size L/XL likely should have been offered, for a down size to fit body best.It’s certainly worth the reasonable low price paid as was labeled at $95 and worth more. It should last for years. A quality 100% cotton bathrobe. Recommended.

Beautiful vibrant robe. Had ordered larger size for my husband and this one for me as the ladies version was too small on hipsOnly complaint is price as it’s £20 more than his although a lot less material required. Lovely and soft on outside with towelling inside. Great to put on straight from the shower.
