This arrived with one foot missing so it would not work. It wouldn't stand up so I could not use it until I had bought something that made it stable.

I’ve been using this chalk with my Dritz hem marker for many years. Saves lots of time and is very accurate. My brides love that they don’t have to stand still for long periods of time while I accurately mark their hem length. Yes, the white chalk can be seen on white and ivory fabric. I do add safety pins on net/tulle layers as a precaution because they can be difficult to see. On these layers I will chalk and pin as I go along because my dritz chalk marker still gives the most accurate placing.
