Great for the average music listener!
This is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. The headphones look nice and overall discreet; not too flashy. The plastic material used on the outside of the headphones as well as the earmuff material has held up very well after around 6 months of frequent use. The earmuffs themselves are very comfortable and cover my ears nicely and provide a good, secure, fit where I don’t have to worry about them falling off if moving around or bending over briefly. Battery life is also excellent, I charge them about once a week if that, although in my use case I typically keep them on max 5 hours at a time, with them being used most days of the week. Your battery life may vary of course depending on your usage. The provided app is nice as it gives access to settings, updates, as well as different EQ settings. I only messed around with the app a few times but don’t really ever use it, but that’s just me. The noise cancellation and transparency features are very nice and well made, transparency mode is very good and is better than my gen 1 AirPods Pros. Noise cancellation is also very good as well and blocks out most noise. Both of these settings are also nicely controlled via a button on the left earmuff (there is a setting for automatic switching which I personally shut off as I found it irritating). There’s also a special mode which is essentially a bass booster mode that’s controlled via a big button on the left earmuff with auditory queues that amplifies the bass nicely. The right earmuff also features a touch pad for gesture-based controls that allow for up/down for volume, skip or repeat track, and can even go forward or backwards in a song. It works pretty good and is convenient!! You can even tap and hold to activate Siri which I imagine would also activate Google Assistant on an Android. As for sound quality I am not an audiophile and am an average consumer when it comes to music but these headphones fit my listening needs perfectly. The sound is very clear and high quality to my ears and as someone who personally enjoys more bass these headphones are perfect for that. The very few negatives I have are I’ve noticed recently that if I rapidly tap down or up my phone’s volume buttons there will be a slight delay in response with the headphones and a few times the headphones will adjust the volume more than the clicks implied; however this could just be a phone/operating system thing rather than the headphones themselves. Another issue I had was with the automatic transparency/noise cancelling switching…I just found it annoying and would switch it to transparency only for it to shortly switch back to noise cancellation. There was also another very odd bug and annoyance that began a few months ago but has since not occurred in about a couple months where the headphones would randomly completely disconnect abruptly without the disconnecting sound playing. It was quite frustrating and my theory is possibly some interference when my Apple Watch would get close to the left earmuff. Whatever caused the issue has since not occurred. Another added unintentional bonus is that wearing these even while not listening to anything provides a nice soothing/calming feeling, good for those who struggle with anxiety or mental health issues. Overall I would absolutely recommend purchasing these!!! As an average audio/music consumer these are perfect for me and the price was very well worth it.

You just need these headphones for life.
#1 aspect is the value. For headphones of this quality to cost this low is rare. Sound quality: Deep & rich sound, amazing noise cancelling. Control: easy pairing, intuitive volume adjustment and song change. Battery is fine. I charge once every 2 months with 2-3 hours/day of use. Comfort: They’re fine. My ears did not hurt. Durability: My first pair lasted 2 years, however, one day, I adjusted too fast or something and they snapped. But 2 years is a long time of no incidence as any headphones will break eventually, and this time was my fault.

The BEST headphones I own!!
I've been a fan of Sony headphones for many years, as the pairs I've purchased (even the cheap ones) over the years always have the sound quality I look for in headphones. I was looking at these for quite a while as I was sure I wanted to purchase them, but wanted to wait for a lower price. They finally came down in price, and I added them to my cart. Best decision I made!! These headphones have a full, rich bass sound, and fit very comfortably over my ears (other headphones from other brands I tried were way too tight, but not these!). They also connect easily to all of my Bluetooth devices and have a noise cancellation feature that you can turn on or off. Battery life is amazing, too. I'll listen to music for hours and still have plenty of battery left. The only downside is I wish they were just a little louder, but that also depends on the source you're using for audio. Overall, I am super happy with these. If you're looking for a high-quality pair of headphones I would highly recommend these Sony ULT headphones!!

Strong bass and comfortable, but ANC is average
These headphones are great if you like deep, powerful bass. Sound is fun and immersive, and they’re very comfortable for long use. Battery life is also solid. The noise canceling works, but it’s not as strong as higher-end models. Also, the sound is very bass-heavy, so not the best if you prefer a balanced profile. 4.5/5

Incredible bass and quality, but multipoint can be stubborn
I absolutely love these headphones for daily use. The overall audio quality is phenomenal, especially the deep bass when playing hip-hop. The matte color gives them a very sleek, premium look. Despite their large, over-ear size which provides great noise cancellation, the weight is incredibly light-I can wear them through college lectures, coding sessions, and my gym workouts without any discomfort. The battery life is also fantastic and easily lasts for days. My only minor gripe is with the connectivity; multipoint is hit-or-miss, and it can be annoying when they don't switch devices automatically between my phone and PC. Still, an easy 5 stars for the sound alone.

Dont buy these they will break. Great sound but terrible build.
Save yourself the trouble and stay away from these headphones. Honestly the sound on them is decent and with the app the surround audio made me feel like I heard extra sounds I didnt hear woth other headphones ive used. Im confident if you get any other Sony headphones you will be very pleased with the sound it is very good. The thing is the material and quality of these headphones felt like they were from five below or dollar tree. It's like they put a v8 engine (the sound quality of these headphones) and put it in a plastic car (the build/material quality of these headphones). There was literally a leftover plastic flap hanging from the power button. The touch controls were still amazing quality and probably my favorite touch controls ive ever used in a headphones I could not say enough how bad the build was. If you read over reviews youll see many people complaining about them breaking at the folding/bending point. Well i returned these headphones and even folding them putting them in the case i felt like i was going to break them. It's like they didn't measure the correct angles that it would bend at. I felt like I was placing a baby in its crib putting these headphones in the case trying not to break them. That alone should have convinced you but if you needed more- the bass on these it pitiful. Upon doing research it turns out sony goes for more accuracy with the sound which I can see 100%. But don't advertise these as bass headphones when the extra bass mode didn't even get to half the bass of the solo beats 3 or i think any headphones I've used. Incredible sound but there was not bass. People saying there is bass have never been next to a speaker larger than 6 inches, to the club, basketball game, or heck even the movies where you can actually tell what bass is.

NOTHING BAD TO SAY - edit found the something bad to say.
I think they’re nice, but I don’t think there is base heavy as to the Skullcandy headphones. I think there is no brand on this planet that produces bass of the skull, rattling quality than Skullcandy. However, these are so comfortable… Not as comfortable as the Skullcandy headphones, the ANC Crushers, but it’s OK Edit: They broke two years later. That plastic binding really showed its true colors. The battery life is insane and it’s on power with the Skullcandy battery life and if I was to really get into it, I would say that their battery life is the best. The controls are very easy and I love the fact that when you take it off a positive song and when you put it on back, it plays the song. I like the fact that it has multipoint connectivity so it connects to both my iPhone and my MacBook at the exact same time and I have the 2018 MacBook, so that’s actually really great. It’s not as loud as I wanted it to be but other times it’s extremely loud and I can’t pinpoint if it’s just my ears or if it’s really my preference. But sometimes it’s loud sometimes it’s not. I don’t know what that is but it’s not low. That being said, it does have a lot of bass and you definitely do hear the boom from the bass, but like I said it’s not as powerful as Skullcandy, but I think it’s a little bit clearer and A lot less muddled. The microphone is good and sometimes it’s not, but I will have the headphone like maybe arms length from where I am and I’ll be talking and the person can still hear me or when I’m using dictation or speech to text, it’s still picking up what I’m saying, even though I’m nowhere near the headphone. I love the fact that it has built-in protection for sudden increases in the volume. So like when I have my phone in my hand sometime, I’ll click the volume button and I’ll click it all the way up and sometimes I have to prepare myself because I think I’m gonna get my eardrums blown out, but what happens is if you suddenly turn up immediately it probably takes like half a second to fully get LOUD (peak)! and I think that’s great because it protects your eardrums. It’s kind of shaped awkward when it’s on your ears, but I don’t mind it and like I said, I love the touch controls because it’s a lot easier than fidgeting with a whole bunch of buttons. It’s worth the price that I paid even though I didn’t really pay for it. I used gift card, but. The personal sound with the app doesn’t really do much but I guess it’s OK. I like that it has a built-in equalizer, but even that doesn’t really do much. I will say this, the sound quality is a lot clearer from this headphone compared to the Skullcandy ANC crusher. I love it.

sound quality is solid, build quality ehh...
pros - sounds great, remember this is a bass focus headphone so I am not gonna come here and complain that my rock music sounds garbage I know exactly what I wanted some thick quality bass that doesn't drown everything else out and the built-in noise-canceling is really good. I can wear them all day and not have any pain around my head and ears, battery life is amazing I use this headphone all day and at the end of the night I still have about 70% battery life left while continuously using the headphone with the high bass settings and noise-cancelling on. cons - sometimes the bluetooth will randomly disconnect and then reconnect sometimes it won't reconnect at all had this happened while using phone and then happened while connected to PC too. Rare but sometimes it also switch my output so if I'm using it with phone it will randomly by itself switch over to bluetooth on my PC. Overall the headphone works great 90% of the time. The build quality of this headphone is absolute garbage, it makes all kinds of noise just touching it and when I actually grab the headphones to put on it creaks like an old house, feels like it always gonna fall apart until it actually did, when the headphone extends to better fit your head the right side just fell out easy to reattach but for the price and from Sony this is embarrassing. You also get a short 5 inch charging cable that may leave your headphones to dangle while charging it. The ULT bass button is unreasonably large which can be accidentally press if you use headphone while resting head on your pillow which can be annoying. Overall: I think the headphone delivers in sound and is still a solid buy with the lower price for me personally however the build quality is so bad I can't really recommend this as a must buy

User Centric Headphones, Use it how you want, Its made for you!
XM5 Level of Noise Cancellation, it works like a charm, you cant even hear person next to you, but dont worry, ambient mode got you, its whole different thing, its like your ears got superpower. Bass is unmatched, the bass youre looking for is here. The Case feels premium, Headphones itself are very premium, Multi point connectivity is sooo smooth. Gestures work great without any delay, you dont need to swipe your fingers hard, it works with soft touches. My Advice - Play with Equalizer on Sound connect app, and make a perfect sound for you. I have big ears still it covers my ears perfectly, feels extremely comfortable. I have seen many reviews with hinge issue, still i took risk, and gonna handle these headphones with extreme care (well it depends on how you keep it) I trust Sony! You can never go wrong with these headphones. Headphones are quite big, yet doesnt feel heavy on head. The case is also quite big, so its gonna take good space in your bag. Got these at very good deal (below 10k)

Excelentes!!!
