Great gaff for the money!
We have already used this gaff several times on our boat. We have only used it for sharks, about 30-40 pound size, to control while fishing with children. The hook is nice and sharp and goes through the tough shark skin without difficulty. Im surprised by how strong it is when fully extended. It flexes a little, but does not seem to get close to breaking. We have already landed three sharks with it and hopefully will continue many years! No issues with rusting or wear from the salt water so far. Highly recommend for the casual fisherman wanting to control large fish.

A must for all fishermen
After getting a bigger boat, decided that I needed a gaff for bigger species (Mahi, Tuna, Striped Bass). First, the quality is amazing. The handle is ridged and provides a firm grip. I couldnโt believe how light this things was. Whatโs great is that you are able to extend this gaff, which make it safe to use on the rough days. Second is the price, this is a steal at the current price. If youโre in the market for a new gaff, check this one out. Very happy and impressed!

Excellent Gaff
Works great. Hauled 10 and up to 25 pound salmon up into my canoe using this gaff so I didnt get flipped reaching over with a net. Even better on our small Tracker boat. Just get the Gaff hook under the chin and pull up. Perfect everytime !
