Simply Soft Speckle Acrylic Yarn for Crocheting, Wisteria, 3-Pack

Made a baby boy blanket for my grandson. The yarn is thick enough to be warm and softness for a baby. The color combinations were perfect. The yarn was a bit pricey but the finished product made up for it. I appreciate Caron simply products for the different types of projects I’ve been able to complete for personal and family gifts from blankets, sweaters, footies, baby garments and hats.

I have actually purchased this twice. It's sturdy, soft, pretty, easy to work with, great quality, the color is perfect and it throws stitches with ease. Perfect weight. I love that it comes in a 3 pack.

Ordered Wisteria. Never used this brand before. I love it! It’s soft and the colors actually came out well once crocheted. My picture didn’t have much light on it. Going to order another pack and make a sweater out of it!

I love this yarn Pros - Very soft and the glitter isn't scratchy - The glitter threads aren't constantly trying to break off, which is a huge plus - Good stitch definition for stitches, even though the yarn is quite thick. - Doesn't split and easy to frog - Really beautiful without being Barbie shiny so to speak - Beginner friendly because each knot is easy to see, and doesn't flop around so that you can work back into the beginning chain with some ease - machine washable! I air dry mine Cons: - I honestly haven't run into any. It's gorgeous yarn.

This yarn works up beautiful, but the reason for 4 stars is because it's a tad bit hard to work with,you have to be careful or the yarn will split it slowed my progress down considerably, it also is slippery which makes it hard to maintain a consistent tension. It tangled easily but nothing that caused me issues as the silkiness of the yarn seemed to help unravel it even when a knot would form. Other than those things it is a good yarn at a reasonable price point so I will more than likely purchase Caron yarn again when I'm looking to do a project that I'm really in no hurry to finish. Oh the drape is beautiful on a c2c using a 6.00mm hook just adding that for reference. Sunkissed Tomatoe Tonal 50×60 c2c blanket used a little over 5 skeins to finish not including the border.

I am satisfied with this soft, pretty Caron yarn. I recommend for crochet or knit blankets.

Love this brand. Such a great value for the price. Easy to use. Easy to care for, which is important if you're making this as a gift for a baby. And this color! In my knitting groups, I'm asked alot where I got this.

Ive worked with a lot of yarn and this one has been the best one so far. Ive been crocheting for 16yrs and I made a blanket for my baby girl. I have to wash it a lot and its still beautiful and silky. Of course looks used but not close to used as ive used it since January when she was born.

Beautiful yarn and very sparkly, love how it catches the light and makes the casual cardigan I am working on give it a bit of class.

Viene muy torcido y despinta muchisimo al lavar. Para nada que puedo regalar esta bufanda. Me costo mucho tiempo y trabajo tejerla por estarlo desenrollando, que desesperacion. Soy disenadora de tejidos y maestra, nunca me habisasucedido nada como esto en 65 anos que tengo tejiendo. No compren rojo!!

Every single Caron skein I have bought has been a dream in terms of finding the center pull. Honestly, I will pay a bit more if there is a choice between Caron and other brands just for that. This yarn is lovely to work with as well ... soft and smooth and great colour. Colour is pretty much exactly as shown (which is uncommon for yarns). The only slight negative is that it is a bit heavier than other acrylic yarns once a project is finished (crochet, not sure if that holds for knitted work as well). For blankets, for example, it results in a rather heavy blanket ... which could be good or bad, depending on your goals. It does get a bit fuzzy rather quickly as well ... for me, that's nice because I like the similarly to natural fibers in terms of the fuzzier look (wools), but it may be a detriment to some projects. All in all, I will always recommend this yarn. It's great and is actually pretty reasonably priced compared to some (insane) brands on Amazon ... and the skeins aren't a quarter of the normal size like some other brands.
