This is a game changer for keeping your tortillas together. You can make a variety of different kinds of pockets without using oil. You have to follow the directions exactly or it won't work. Also the tortilla has to be large/extra large 10 inch diameter at least or the tortilla won't crimp. We have used it several times and it is quick and easy. FYI, if you over stuff your tortilla it will fail.

I’ve made a lot of different things with this, from pizza pockets to Nutella and banana, and even buffalo chicken. It works really well with 10-inch wraps. I microwave them for about 10 seconds first, then seal and put them in the air fryer, and they come out great every time. I usually spray butter spray on them prior to putting in the air fryer so they get a little crispy or mix butter with cinnamon sugar and add that to the top depending on what I'm making. My 8- and 10-year-olds use it too, and it’s simple enough for them to use on their own. It’s been a fun and easy way to make quick meals and snacks.

Tried this over the weekend and was easy to use! Made a stuffed pizza pocket. Turned out very well. Also made a cherry pie filled pocket and it was yummy. Used water to crimp edges on both and worked well. Baked in my air fryer with no problems. Used tortilla shells (super soft). Both items turned out great, had even basted a little water on top of the cherry filled one and sprinkled a little sugar on top then baked in air fryer at 350 for 5 minutes and could not have been better. Yummy treat nice and crispy! I have bought several now to give as gifts! Would recommend but a tad pricy for what it is, but now days what isn’t!

Needs gigantic (bigger than standard size) tortillas to be useful. I wish I'd have ordered the smaller one, but didn't realize how large this one was. Made ok, but I don't usually have gigantic tortillas for our meals.

Got this a few weeks ago. Mission brand burrito size flour tortillas work well. The ones I use say something like Super Soft on the package. The tortillas themselves are usually a tad bigger than 8”. If they are smaller than that, it does not seal as well on the sides nearest the fold. I think Mission brand tortillas may be different sizes in different countries; I am in the US. I center the tortilla on the open Crimpit and put the device with the tortilla on it (still in the open position) in the microwave for about 15 seconds to soften the tortilla. Take it out of the microwave and put your filling on half of the tortilla in the side with the black bottom. Dip your fingers in some water and moisten the tortilla all the way around the edge of the tortilla. This makes the edges a little sticky and helps it seal better. Fold the side of the tortilla that is on the yellow side over the filling and line it up with the black side’s outer edge. Close the yellow side onto the black side which will pinch the edges of the tortilla together. Apply a good amount of pressure to try to get the best seal. Open the Crimpit and remove the pocket by turning the open device over so the pocket just falls out onto your hand or onto a plate. If you try to pry the pocket out of the Crimpit with your fingers, you will probably end up messing up the seal. Also tried it with Mission Carb Balance tortillas but the ones we had were quite a bit smaller than the 8” so they didn’t line up fully. However, we aligned as much of the tortilla as we could with the outer edge of the black side, added the filling on the black side, folded the other edge of the tortilla over to line up with the black side’s tortilla edge, then closed the yellow side. When we removed it from the Crimpit, part of the edge wasn’t sealed because of the tortilla size. We fixed that section by dipping a fork in water and then using the fork tines to crimp that small unsealed section. The carb balance ones we used would probably be perfect in the smaller size Crimpit. Overall it’s been great. I’ve been making pockets with various cooked meats and putting them in the freezer then heating them up in the microwave or a frying pan when I want to eat them. I’ve also made pizza pockets by using pizza sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni in them. Heat those in a pan with a little butter to add some crunch to the “crust”.

Ideal for making quick snacks for grandsons and even yourself.

Fantastic for burrito's 🌯 good quality

I am obsessed with this. I use it all the time now. Breakfast wraps to lunch/dinner. I've overfilled it on a couple of occasions so the wrap has broken slightly, but that is down to me. Its so simple but so clever. 100% recommend.
