Everyone needs this double knife set. Satisfying feel in the hand, precision to the hand when sliding apart and when sliding back together. The wooden handles are well finished hardwood. As the product description says, super sharp blades. Very fair price. Could be used as steak knives. Great general purpose back up knives . I have a helpful hint for the owner of these new knives: when putting the knobs back together, it is challenging, unless you lay them flat on the table for purposes of alignment and then slide together. They are sharp be careful!

They are fine. Not excellent, not poor. Decently sharp out of the box. Gave this as a gift and made sure they weren't junk first. They are a bit sticky when putting them together, but it seems it will loosen up in time. The internal shims are plastic so they shouldn't damage the blade. Personally, I wouldn't use these for cooking or chef work, but as a general shop knife it would be fine. It's a fun gimmick knife.

Knives are fine but they do not slide together as pictured. They only slide in 2/3 of the way.

Really strong fit in the sheaths. Very sharp and the bamboo is very smooth. Definitely a sweet buy if you love knifes

I bought this knife set for weekend camping trips and it performs great and really sharp out of the box! It was a bit of a challenge to get them apart at first, but I've used it about 30 or 40 times now and it goes in with ease, has enough friction to not come apart, and release with a slight tug.

From the moment I open this product I can tell it was going to make kitchen chores much more pleasurable. The product fit beautifully together. Easy to carry but more than anything the blade is good. Solid thick steel blade. It is durable and beautiful and The blade is anchored down the length of the handle.
